A LOVE LETTER (To Glenn Beck)

I’m getting my fake fingernails put on and I’m thinking of you. I have a pitch meeting at Pie Town tomorrow and I chewed all my real fingernails off last night watching Anita Dunn express her admiration for Mao Tse Tung. Thank you for exposing yet another enemy of our freedom. You are so passionate and curious and smart and real. Sigh. I look at my Vietnamese manicurist and pedicurist and smile. I ask them their names. Katie. Kathy. Hmm. I glance around the nail salon. The decor is Greek columns with 1920’s lamps in between. There is a 1970’s Disco Bar in the middle of the room with a 1930’s Art Deco Chandelier in the center. There is a Faux Greek Mural and then Post Modern New Age Sterile Minimalist Lights sprinkled in between. It’s “Psychedelic International.” Just like the New America. I ask Katie and Kathy what their real names are. They look at me suspiciously. Hang and Gnoc. Okay.
The woman next to me is speaking Armenian into her cell phone. I can’t really discuss politics with Katie and Kathy, language barrier, so I glance at the TIME magazine next to my arm. Some liberal, Joe Klein is trying to tell the truth about ObamaCare, but not quite pulling it off. Then, he attacks my Rush and my Beck and my heart speeds up. My cheeks turn red. He writes, “…it is also possible that the Limbaugh and Glenn Beck – inspired poison will spread from right-wing nutters to moderates and independents…” Poison? Poison?
Truth… is Poison to the guilty. It stings.
Glenn Beck, I must confess I love the other Truth Tellers too; Breitbart, Giles, O’Keefe, Hannity, Ziegler, Rush, Rove, Crowley, Ingraham, Hewitt, Huckabee, Jindal, Miller, Palin, Prager, Pawlenty, Weaver, Gingrich, Keyes, and of course, Jesus, the Ultimate Truth. (John 14:6)
But I must especially thank you Glenn Beck for your blackboard. I love your blackboard! And your thorough research. Your facts. Your diagrams. Your teaching. Finally, someone is clearly explaining to us, the taxpayers, exactly what is happening inside that mysterious, gigantic, corrupt political system we have. We, the working middle class, have always been afraid of the machine, and I think the politicians/criminals wanted it that way. With their pompous, pious faces and sneaky hands, they have been stealing and lying. We were too busy raising children, working and going to church to have time to research them. Now, finally, one man has done it. Cracked the Code. Exposed the Fraud. Shone the Light on the Basement Rats! Now, the rats are all scurrying around, all nervous. They are calling The Man With The Flashlight names. Mean names. Squeak! Squeak!
Glenn Beck, thank you for answering my questions. One day I was wondering who those “czars” were who had slipped into the White House, under the radar…I flipped your show on, and you told me! It’s like you read my mind! One day I was wondering what real doctors think of ObamaCare, not the fake doctors Obama rigged for his photo shoot, but real ones. I popped on your show, and there you all were…debating, having a real discussion, like grown ups. Obama’s speeches are all fake and they say nothing. Cotton candy for stupid people. But, you Glenn Beck, you are a thinker. Like me. You are unbiased. Like me. You are simply seeking Truth, just like me.
If one day, Glenn Beck, you become embroiled in a scandal, and you turn out to be imperfect as all heroes put up on pedestals turn out to be, I will forgive you and forever be grateful for one thing…the elegant way you introduced the Green Jobs Czar, Mr. Van Jones to the public and then ushered him silently out the door. That was awesome! ( It also helps me prove the fact that Obama is a Communist. A Capitalist would not appoint a Communist as an advisor! ) It was as exciting as watching Giles/O’Keefe/Breitbart bring down the corrupt Acorn. This is great stuff! To you heroes, we thank you. We really, really, really love you. You’re cool. You’re brave. You’re smart. And, you tell the truth!
The truth has a beautiful ring to it. It pours smoothly through the ears and forms a golden, peaceful puddle in the heart. It reassures one that there is still a drop of good in the world. Truth is Beautiful.
I took my beautiful fake nails out to my car and drove to the car wash. Hard working, friendly Mexicans made it shiny. I don’t know if they were legal or illegal. I love everyone, but I think rules should be followed. Why can’t they be legal? Is it difficult? You’ll probably explain Amnesty to me tomorrow on TV, because you always know what I’m thinking. I did those minimum wage jobs for years, working my way up the Capitalist ladder. I did it with a happy heart looking forward to the day when I could have a great job! But, while Obama romances the racial minorities; defending Professor Gates, picking Sotomayor, having Latin dance parties, and hinting at Amnesty, don’t the minorities realize that if Obama continues to destroy Capitalism they will always be stuck on the bottom rung? There will be no Capitalist ladder.
Glenn Beck, I like your solution, “Replace the corrupt Congress.” Good plan. I’m studying the candidates right now. Jindal is good. Handstands for Huckabee. Palin for President.

Glenn does a fantastic job letting us know what is what…his researchers deserve all the kudos also…everyone who speaks up and out, stands firmly for the truth, is perceived as either evil, deranged, or a terrorist. At 72 I'm flattered….good for all the media pool chiefs for standing with Fox against this administration's attempt to bully and threaten the media…Chicago tactics will not work in this venue…wise up, and do your job…Afghanistan is waiting for an answer….
It amazes me when people who don't like Glenn talk about how much hate and racism he spews on his show. I have watched Glenn Beck and never seen an iota of either. Being a Latter Day Saint myself I am proud that Glenn Beck is a fellow member of The Church and all I have to say is:

I was thinking how all of us REAL patriots who REALLY love our country have Glenn Beck to thank for waking us all up. I can tell you that my eyes were wide shut before I started listening to the truth of what's going on. Believe me though I still did my own research and continue to do so almost daily and it ALL comes back to what Glenn is exposing now. Thank God for Glenn Beck the man who has a "vision", so to speak.

Victoria I LOVE the new you! I just want to add a couple of names to the truth tellers who can't be left out, Michael Savage who has been warning us long before Glenn about Van Jones among many other issues. And of course,The Great One, Mark Levin – a brilliant shining light.
I pray we the people will be able to get back our checks and balances before it's too late. May the truth speakers and seekers shout from the mountain tops in order to save our freedom and liberty.

What Glenn Beck is doing is analgous to a termite exterminator helping you prevent further damage to your termite infested house. Every day you come home and your house looks just like it did the day before. On the outside, it looks strong. But when you bring in a professional bug guy, he exposes how the hidden bugs are secretly eating away at the houses structure that gives it the strength. The pesky little bugs are destroying your house and you didn't even know it until you had a professional bug guy tell you.
Glenn Beck is like a bug guy. He is The Exterminator.
Terrific piece, but you are mistaken if you think Huckabee and Gingrich belong in your list. Neither are what they seem. Michelle Malkin, Thomas Sowell and Walter Williams definitely belong, and Malkin's website explains clearly why the others don't.

As a Louisiana resident, I can tell you, Victoria, that Jindal is not all that. I'm a conservative and I'm suspicious of him, that he's using Louisiana to go for something higher and is not putting the best interests of the state to the forefront as our governor. I also don't think he understands business and capitalism as we would want him to. When you study Bobby Jindal, find out what the locals think of him, not what the national media or the Republican party or any other national-level conservative think of him. I think he was more open and real the first time he ran for governor and lost. He doesn't seem as real now.
I agree with you about the truth tellers amongst us…and therefore must send a little love note to you. You have as much courage, and I would suspect, much nicer legs, than Glenn…so kudos to you too, you make a lot of us girls proud!!!!

BP, I agree with you. I don't hold out much hope for the 2012 election with the current group we have to choose from. The one person I'm very optimistic about in the future is John Kasich. If he wins the Governorship of Ohio, which I'm confident will happen, he'll be in a good position to make the run in 2016. I've followed him since he was a junior Congressmen, IMHO, no one has a better grasp of how our economy works. He was the one most responsible for the balanced budget (a distant memory), and I've always considered him the "Indiana Jones" of the Congress.

Maybe you don't want to remeber but Bush aquiesed to the liberals and allowed NATO in the door in order to have a more multilateral effort. It has been since NATO got involved that things got worse. I am not excusing Bush but explaining things the way they really are. NATO did not engage the enemy instaed they took a defensive posture which is just surrender in slow motion.
President Bush did not want to hand a mess to the next Administration. He surged in Iraq, well that worked when all the Democrat Pundits said it was doomed to fail. He also made tactical improvements in Afganistan that diminished NATOs' power in the region. NATO can still be a surrender monkey but it does not matter now. The strategic review made several recommendations and Obama has adopted many of them whole cloth. The blame Bush mantra simply does not work for informed people.

Agreed. Huckabee torpedoed our 2nd best candidate* last year (Romney), sticking us with McLame. He may have done that to clear the way for himself in 012, speaking of self-serving hypocrisy worthy of The One. (*Fred Thompson was the best but hadn't the fire in the belly to go for it.) Gingrich was never more than a lukewarm conservative. His "Contract with America" was 90% talk and 10% delivery, and he and his cronies acted like good little back-benchers – read Democrats light – as soon as they felt those nice cushy Seats under their tushes. His support of the lefty Rino in New York finishes him for me.

This is what is perplexing to the DNC and the Soros hyper-leftists. Victoria confesses a love for Jesus. You are a Latter Day Saint. I'm an organic farmer. But WE ALL love our freedom and our liberty. And we loathe corruption and dishonesty. And we especially loathe it from people who are supposed to protect and represent us. Don't we? Having pushed for Thompson and then Romney last year, I have to agree. Actually, that was true for most of the Republicans in my area on primary night, and when we heard the story that McCain's WV delegates, seeing they were going to lose, made sure to throw them all to Huckabee to deny Romney the slot (or it might have been Huckabee's going over to McCain, I can't remember), there was no end of disgust among us with both of them. Huckabee gets his support from the Bible Belt and that's it. Thinking things over, I can't tell you how much I wish Palin had not resigned, because she's got the makings of a political rehabilitation for 2012.
