Um, no I don't. Maybe other conservative people do, but not all of us. That's just an assumption on your part. I do share my experiences interacting with liberals and base my statements on real people. Also, I talk about specific liberals or far-leftists or some liberals (not ALL liberals), or I preface a comment about liberals with "I think." And if there have been times when I haven't done that, it's because 1) I was being silly/partly joking, 2) lazy/a jerk, or 3) not careful enough in my wording/tired at 3 AM. For those times I have been remiss in qualifying my statements, I apologize.

Now, back to the topic of healthcare. I actually support having programs like Medicare/Medicaid and think we ought to work to get those out of the hole while taking steps to make insurance more affordable for working people. I'm all about taking care of people who can't work, and helping out those who could work, but are having some trouble. As for the latter, I do think the goal in helping them should be to help them get to a point where they no longer need government assistance to pay for their health care. Also, I think we should focus on getting private health insurance more affordable (more competition -> more choices for consumers) as opposed to having the government 1) force everyone into a particular system and 2) create a system that will not compete fairly with private insurance, but will instead have the advantage of being favored by government regulators.

I did not say "prevent" I said "don't want". When you hear in a derogatory tone and attempted meaning Evangelical Christian all the time in Media the phrase is used similar as Progressives use of the word Racist. But you know that.
