Only an independent person would look at both sides of the story:
Left: Belief that mankind and a molecule, at 4 parts per hundred thousand, are responsible for accelerating the temperature, even though recent trends show otherwise.
Right: Data showing that the solar magnetosphere is at an all time low, as are sunspots, which correlate to William Herschel's data from 18th century. That CO2 levels have been higher in the past. That the earth is a dynamic planet and nothing stays constant, except for change.

This is what we are up against? This will be easier than shooting fish in plastic baggies.

And its not just liberals and democrats who seem to believe this, though most of them are liberals and democrats. There's plenty of big government conservatives who believe something, anything, must be done.

In the summer of 2006, my town, like a good portion of the east coast was under water. The local government was completely over whelmed by the ordeal. They didn't have anywhere near the man power to be every where at once. So what did We The People do? Did we riot? Did we burn cars? Did we loot? No. We took care of ourselves, our families and our neighbors. People used their own vehicles to block off flooded streets. The police were making rounds, checking with these volunteers, seeing if everything else was okay, and then they moved on. When faced with the prospect of little to no assistance from the government, we handled it. It can be done.
