Much of Bush's debt was from the "save the banks" and bailouts in October 2008, plus 2 wars and funding for increased national security after 9/11. Bush didn't propose or initiate those Oct. bailouts, it was a Democrat-majority Congress that did. He just signed the bills (it upset me that he did, but I understand why he did). And why were the banks, housing industry, auto companies suddenly failing? Because DEMOCRATS had forced expensive CAFE standards and mandatory home loans to low-income people (ACORN & their clones started during the Clinton era) who couldn't afford their balloon payments. Republicans are not angels, I agree, but Bush was outnumbered by statist Democrats in Congress who knew they could happily blame him for anything that went wrong. As far as greed and corruption and failure to pay taxes being rampant, are you talking about Geithner, Reid, Schumer, Pelosi, Blago, Murtha, Robertson, Daschle, Frank, and the "Chicago Elite"? Pssst… they're all Democrats. The outrageous cost of socialist healthcare and cap & trade will make everything ALL presidents have spent, from G. Washington to GW Bush, look like chump change.

My mom has been a whiner and complainer all her life. As a teen, I couldn't wait to escape her negativism. Her glass, no matter what, is ALWAYS half empty (or totally empty, just depends on her mood and how much of a victim she feels like being). She relies on mainstream media for news (if she can tear herself away from soap operas and cable movies to even watch the news); she never reads to enrich her mind. If something great happens in my life and I share it with her, she manages, in a few sentences, to minimize my happiness and emphasize her own unhappiness. It's always about her and her pain, her perceived slights from others, her hurt feelings. My dad (a Republican) divorced her years ago because he couldn't take her whining anymore. She thrives on being miserable and making others miserable around her. And yes, she is and has always been a Democrat. My daughter once asked me what is a Democrat, and all I had to say was, "Your grandma." That's all that was needed. 'Nuff said.

She voted for Obama even though she can't name a single policy he supported. He just had the "D" on the ballot.

Good one! Finally – a liberal who speaks the truth… damn those pesky facts… they get in the way of everything Obama and other statists want to do to the country. And damn those "fearful for the fruits of their labor being stolen" Republicans… why won't they just shut up already and let Obama fleece them quietly?
