The reason that the Liberal Party didn't win was because they had a very weak leader. If there had been a stronger leader, the Liberals could have won or a lot closer than they had.

Yes, a walkouts do imply a different thing. It implies that those people are so entrenched in their beliefs that they are unable to welcome any humor in the door that might make fun of those beliefs and that signals to be that they are fundamentalists, LIBERAL fundamentalists, which is no less dangerous or annoying than Conservative or Religions one's.

As far as Bush sending troops into harm's way for his own personal profit, well again, I am Liberal and I find that kind of rhetoric to be both preposterous and despicable. However, is it a stretch to say that he knowingly did so despite strong evidence that stood in the face of his stated reasons for doing so, that he willfully ignored any or all evidence to the contrary? No. I don't think that's a stretch.

Finally, I think that Muslim joke might go over better in time. I think Obama supporters are still raw about the lies that were flung in his direction, as say, Sarah Palin's or McCain supporters are still raw about the same.

Huh? Ron Howard's movies make a ton of money. That's why he's considered one of the most successful film directors. Did you bother watching "Apollo 13"?

As for this whole anti-PC-rant, telling jokes about people based on their race, ethnicity, gender, etc. is pretty lame. Would you appreciate it if you were a war veteran who had lost a limb and heard someone making a joke about crippled soldiers?

Common courtesy and decency should tell us that making fun of others isn't right. Do you think Jesus would sit around making fun of other people?

You know – I could almost go along with the politically correct crowd as they go about their mission putting larger and larger chunks of political speech, social discourse and just plain talk out of bounds. I am almost ready to say "Stop – You win! Just leave me alone and I will speak the way you want, avoid subjects that are verboten and at least try to think like the good and "sensitive " prole you want me to be. I will do this because you are unrelenting and possessed of a fierce and demonic energy that I am just too tired to resist any longer. All that I ask is that you drop the pretense and quit demanding that I indulge in your Orwellian fantasy that you are, at the same time, the most courageous and freeedom-loving defenders of free speech on the planet. Give us all a break! Just drop the mask and tell us straight from the shoulder that you are all about repression and censorship and slapping the duct tape over the mouths of those you don't agree with. It's OK! You win !
