According to the open-minded tolerant left, conservatives listen to country music and the occasional soft pop. At night, conservatives listen to dark classical music, count their money, and dream up new ways to exploit the poor with things like… jobs, products, and tax revenue. After all, how else do you explain the lack of conservative ideals within other forms of music?</p>
<p>Let us consider another possibility. Let us go to a place where people are not stereotyped; a place where people of all different backgrounds can have different passions and tastes. You know, like a Tea Party. In a place like that, it would be strange to find only one type of music that shares common ideals with the people. In a place like that, one might start to consider the possibility that somebody somewhere else is censoring music. Somebody somewhere else is censoring music.  Somebody somewhere else is censoring music. Now read it faster!!!</p>

<p>Ironically, though conservative values are being censored by the major labels, it is conservatives that will fight for their right to do just that. It is after all,<em> their</em> label.  And we can only hope that “they” will have no problem with new media platforms rising to create a stage for conservatives. </p>
<p>Unfortunately, history tells us that “they” will have a problem, (<em>Insert numerous examples of leftists calling for censorship of Breitbart, Fox News, etc.</em>).</p>
<p>Well, too bad.</p>
<p>We are Utopian Riot, a newly formed hard-rocking band of experienced musicians that has just released the unapologetic video above that intentionally plays like a horror movie. Our message targets the root of progressive thinking, attacking the centralized collective ideologies of the extreme left (see lyrics below).  The music is angry and if  you us why we&#8217;re so angry, we&#8217;ll reply, “Because we have a pulse.”<span id="more-404057"></span></p>
<p>The music aims to upset and is meant to be controversial. Lead singer Kyle Roberts says, “<em>Turning the other cheek is no longer a viable option.</em>” Lead guitar Tyler Roberts adds, “<em>Dealing with progressives is like dealing with a dominate society like Iran, being polite will be viewed as weakness</em>.” </p>
<p>The band is currently working on two new pieces that will be released shortly, “Melting Pot,” and “Me and My Army.”</p>
<p>Breaking all stereotypes, we wish to bring rock to all audiences, but specifically to the Rocking Right.  We believe that the lack of conservative rock is not from lack of demand but from a lack of support. Like a good bra, the new media is providing that support and it is invigorating!  But a stage is nothing without an audience. Please help spread the video and keep an eye out for upcoming releases. </p>

<p>Public school children are innocent victims of a radical “guerrilla warfare” being waged by the late professor <a href="http://www.zinnedproject.org/">Howard Zinn’s Zinn Education Project </a>(ZEP), <a href="http://bit.ly/2vgo">Rethinking Schools Magazine</a>, and <a href="http://bit.ly/2vgo">Teaching for Change</a>. </p>

<p>These anti-establishment educators’ mission includes curriculum-subversion in order to radically transform schools into centers of <em><a href="http://bit.ly/5oMoll">social justice</a></em> wherein  students are trained to become <em>global citizen </em><em>change agents</em>. </p>
<p>Perpetuating Zinn’s revolutionary mission, his surviving business partners <a href="http://www.zinnedproject.org/posts/5311">proclaimed</a>: </p>
<blockquote><p>Howard Zinn, in honor of the marvelous victory of your life, we will act in defiance of all that is bad around us and attempt to spin the world towards justice. </p></blockquote>
<p>With <a href="http://bighollywood.breitbart.com/?s=%22the+people+speak%22">the national spotlight on History Channel’s “The People Speak”</a> and its ZEP curriculum &#8212; parents, teachers, school boards and administrators should beware of the celebrity-opiate being dealt to their schoolchildren by way of <em>Zinn-doctrination.</em> <span id="more-303402"></span></p>
<p>ZEP is the brainchild of the late Boston University professor <a href="http://bit.ly/7ZwfYJ">Howard Zinn</a> and <a href="http://bit.ly/8AJU2t">Bill Bigelow</a>, Curriculum Director for Rethinking Schools. </p>
<p>On Jan. 19, 2010, Harper Perennial Publications (HPP) and ZEP presented <em>“Ask Howard: A Conversation with Howard Zinn on Teaching ‘A People’s History of the United States’”</em> on <a href=" http://bit.ly/7K0jjj">Blog Talk Radio</a>. </p>
<p>Questions from teachers and students across America already familiar with ZEP were solicited and presented to the professor. </p>
<p>HPP Marketing Director Amy Baker and moderator Bigelow put the questions to professor Zinn. </p>
<p>During the broadcast: </p>
<ul>
<li>Professor Zinn explicitly advised teachers: “Don’t obey the rules… <em><span style="text-decoration: underline;">you have to play a kind of guerrilla warfare with the establishment in which you try not to be fired</span></em>… <em><span style="text-decoration: underline;">You have to depart from the curriculum… outside the lines that are set for us by the school administration, or the politicians.”</span></em> </li>
<li>Dr. Bigelow confirmed that ZEP’s materials have been smuggled into classrooms throughout the country by teachers who astro-turf Zinn’s <em><span style="text-decoration: underline;">“guerrilla warfare with the establishment.”</span></em> </li>
<li>Dr. Bigelow boasted: “Whether or not ZEP materials have been adopted by school districts formally or anything like that, we’re not even going that route. We’re going for a more grassroots approach.” </li>
<li>Prof. Zinn mocked as “antiquated thinking” the professionalism of teachers who comply with state Education Codes. He advocated his teachers “win over” peers to either look the other way, or join ZEP ‘guerrilla warfare’ against established, lawful curriculums. </li>
</ul>
<p>ZEP collaborators provide aid and comfort to teacher-agents-of-change on its websites: </p>
<p><a href=" http://bit.ly/50wSMZ">Jennifer Rogar</a>, a middle-school History/Social Science/Guitar teacher in the <a href="http://bit.ly/920kAp">Sacramento City Unified School District</a> (SCUSD) provides an operational example of ZEP-style guerrilla warfare: </p>
<p>Observing Columbus Day 2008, in <a href="http://bit.ly/50wSMZ">SCUSD’s School of Engineering and Sciences</a>] Ms. Rogar obtained &#8212; and distributed without authorization to her 8th-grade students &#8212; instructional materials from ZEP’s now deceased <a href=" http://www.howardzinn.org/">patriarch</a>: “’Columbus, the Indians, and Human Progress: excerpted from a ‘People’s History of the United States’ by Howard Zinn.” </p>

<p>Ms. Rogar, a <a href="http://bit.ly/4qqFZi">law school graduate</a>, administered Zinn’s lesson plan to her students. She assigned hours of classroom discussion, study, testing and writing assignments that are non-compliant with established California State <a href=" http://bit.ly/4Bsd8G">Content Standards</a>. </p>
<p>Alarmed parents found her materials objectionable and complained to the school principal. The principal investigated the complaint and ordered Ms. Rogar to cease and desist. </p>
<p>Ms. Rogar, has since been reassigned, and continues teaching for change as a <a href="http://bit.ly/61X1lN">Social Science/Guitar</a> instructor in SCUSD’s <a href="http://bit.ly/4WGEhC">Capital City School</a>.</p>
<p>Parents are unclear as to what disciplinary action, if any, was filed against Ms. Rogar, or what measures are now being enforced to ensure that current and future ZEP violations do not occur in SCUSD and elsewhere. (<a href="http://bit.ly/2TrVX">Zoe Weil</a> &#8212; wrong that “all education is political” &#8212; please call your office). </p>
<p>The nationwide infiltration ZEP marketing intends and has achieved in public schools is alarming. Parents, students and interested community members must not wait for further violations to occur, or presume that principals and district administrators are ready and willing to enforce established regulations. </p>
<p>Education Codes are democratically established to ensure religious/philosophical/political neutrality in curriculums, to prevent abuses and to punish actual violations thereof. </p>
<p>Concerned citizens should familiarize themselves with Content Standards, state and local school district board policies, Administrative Regulations, or professional educators’ ethical conduct guidelines and/or teachers union collective bargaining agreements’ Articles of Academic Freedom. </p>
<p>These guidelines and curriculums are all mutually agreed upon. But ZEP’s proudly self-proclaimed <em>biased</em>-curriculum is deliberately not. </p>
<p>As with the scrapping of President Obama’s infamous U.S. Department of Education (ED) <a href="http://bit.ly/sg2TL">Lesson Plan</a>: the Zinn Education Project, and any other such sectarian political activist groups’ unauthorized curriculums and propaganda should be exposed and prohibited. </p>
<p>ZEP’s ideological call to arms is, however, a two way street. </p>
<p>American parents, elected representatives and the professional educator employees entrusted with schoolchildren have options: Surrender the classroom and their children to Zinn’s radical ideological warfare, or engage and defeat Zinn’s <em>re-thinking change-agent guerillas</em>. </p>
<p>If you discover teachers using ZEP materials in your school, protest to the school principal. Consider filing written complaints with the district’s superintendent. Send copies (emails are sufficient) to the school board president, vice president, city council members, and state school board president. </p>
<p><a href=" http://bit.ly/50U7P4">Standardized Uniform Complaint</a> forms are required to be easily accessible on either school district websites, or upon request at main offices. </p>
<p>Avoid retaliation by school staff by being collaborative yet firm, but never confrontational. When used appropriately, written complaints can be very powerful agents of change themselves. Feel free to use them. </p>
<p>When possible, find fellow parents who will join in the complaints. Safety in numbers is unfortunately a necessary precaution when challenging the practices of a government bureaucracy. </p>
<p>Request that written parental notification and permission slips be required for all outside advocacy groups’ supplemental curriculums.  </p>
<p>Finally, other stories of specific teachers, principals, and district staff using ZEP in schools that readers might wish to submit for publication to Big Hollywood will of course be treated with strictest journalistic confidence. </p>

Our posterity</p>
<p>One answer is that those American heroes certainly did not sacrifice their all to secure the Blessings of Liberty for self-interested public school employees to recruit, re-educate, politicize and socially transform our Posterity &#8212; American school children &#8212; into &#8220;Global Citizens&#8221; that campaign in the name of environmental &#8220;Sustainability.&#8221; </p>
<p>People familiar with modern public education should be well aware by now that one of the ‘Re-Thinking&#8217; pursuits in K-12 school districts these days is the values inculcation of belief systems that sustain &#8220;global citizenship.&#8221;<span id="more-150306"></span></p>
<p>This political mission is commonly advocated while suppressing and/or demonizing varying, skeptical viewpoints &#8212; to which students are lawfully and ethically entitled under national and statewide academic freedom codes and regulations. </p>
<p><a href="http://www.newhorizons.org/strategies/multicultural/banks2.htm">Global citizenship</a> is a postmodernist incarnation of <a href="http://plato.stanford.edu/entries/cosmopolitanism/">Cosmopolitanism</a> and &#8220;<a href="http://www.worldservice.org/wcd.html">world citizenship</a>,&#8221; one of a number of controversial political causes for which William Carr&#8217;s National Education Association advocated in the 1950s &#8211; back when the NEA began promoting the notion that the United Nations was the only hope of mankind.</p>
<p>Mr. Carr <a href="http://www.worldviewtraining.com/book/chapters/utloh.html">once wrote</a>: &#8220;Teach those attitudes which will result, ultimately in the creation of a world citizenship and world government.&#8221;</p>
<p>Sustainability a.k.a., &#8220;sustainable development&#8221; crystallized in the United Nation&#8217;s <a href="http://www.worldinbalance.net/agreements/1987-brundtland.php">Brundtland Report</a>. It states, in part:</p>
<blockquote><p>‘Sustainable development&#8217; is development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs&#8221;; &#8220;An additional person in an industrial country consumes far more and places far greater pressure on natural resources than an additional person in the Third World&#8221; and &#8220;in the final analysis, sustainable development must rest on political will.</p></blockquote>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline">DE-GROWTHERS OF THE WORLD UNITE! </span></p>
<p>Wither General Motors and the incandescent light bulb&#8230;</p>
<p>Of course, acknowledgement of natural resource conservation and humanity&#8217;s place in ecological systems is an important aspect of elementary education.</p>
<p>But, the administration of dis-informational, faith-based political values systems (in the name of ‘science&#8217;) &#8212; to the exclusion of scientific method&#8217;s required skepticism and educational ethics&#8217; practice of varying viewpoints &#8212; is, at the very least, unprofessional and deserving of vigilant critical scrutiny.</p>
<p>Statist canon like &#8220;<a href="http://www.frontpagemag.com/readArticle.aspx?ARTID=13978">social justice</a>,&#8221; &#8220;global citizenship,&#8221; environmental &#8220;sustainability&#8221; and &#8220;<a href="http://www.nameorg.org/resolutions/definition.html">multicultural education</a>&#8221; are now pervasive in American schools, but are not sustaining captive young minds.</p>
<p>Parents, not educators, have the right to decide values, articles of faith and creeds for their children. Of course, children are free to make up their own minds whether to accept them over time. But it is not the job of public servant educators to undermine or contradict parents. That would be hostile.</p>
<p>Students do not attend public school so that teachers can make them hate American culture, society and their own species; that the human race is some kind of dangerous animal that must be culled by Planned Parenthood, or world government.                       </p>
<p>It&#8217;s bad enough when what they teach is false. They also lay extreme guilt trips on children that make them question whether they are killing our species and planet.</p>
<p>Such mind-numbing is a hostile act intended to brown/blackout common sense, faith, familial bonds, logic and reason from ‘green&#8217; minds.</p>
<p>Wither ‘question authority&#8217; and ‘dissent is patriotic&#8217;?</p>
<p>Small wonder charter and home-schooling are now such successful growth industries nationwide (against which &#8211; surprise! &#8211; <a href="http://sites.nea.org/aboutnea/code.html">the NEA</a> et al. politically oppose funding).</p>
<p>Teach your children well&#8230;</p>
<p>How to impact positive change?</p>
<p>The same as one would were a public school or teacher discovered proselytizing religious scripture on the taxpayers&#8217; dime.</p>
<p>Teach yourself well, as well.</p>
<p>Investigate and de-code these politically (not educationally) charged buzzwords and creeds, and specifically how they are being unprofessionally, unethically, even unlawfully propagated in your community&#8217;s public education system.</p>
<p>Access and read your local school district&#8217;s policies and state education codes and regulations concerning controversial issues, educational ethics, political neutrality and <a href="http://www.psaf.org/pamphlettes/psaf_mission_statement.pdf">academic freedom</a>.</p>
<p>Lodge formal complaints where appropriate. Follow-up in writing with your superintendent and school board when your district&#8217;s mission plan and/or teachers enact similar bullying as previously reported <a href="http://bighollywood.breitbart.com/abaldwin/2009/05/18/a-cultural-fix-global-citizen-educators-rethinking-sustainability-into-population-control-vs-academic-freedom/">here</a>, <a href="http://www.breitbart.tv/?p=215103">here</a>, and <a href="http://pro-reason.info/index.php/2006/04/01/bennish-transcript/">here</a>.</p>
<p>Unless of course you feel that America&#8217;s students &#8211; our Posterity &#8211; should not be burdened with varying viewpoints in public school, and that ‘<em>this is one that&#8217;s no longer a debate.&#8217; </em></p>
