Big Hollywood should have started a pool where we could all drop a buck and guess the date and time a national news network would highlight a bunch of school kids singing for Dear Leader’s flagging bid to take over our nation’s health care. This is what the Left does, after all. Correcting bad behavior that furthers their cause is out of the question. So instead, they get us used to their bad behavior by performing it over and over again as if to say, “Would I be doing this so brazenly if it was wrong?”

–

Predictably, CNN comes to the rescue, absolving all those awful school teachers who abused their captive audience with some of the creepiest child behavior since “Pet Sematary.” And I say “CNN” because Wolf –I lost on Jeopardy, baby– Blitzer just isn’t smart enough to figure all of this out on his own.

What’s so very disappointing about that clip is that these are many of the same students from the same school that provided The Brightest moment of the 2008 election:

–

Is it me or do the kids look looser — less programmed and more joyful — in this video than the CNN one?

Anyway, looks like someone finally got to Ron Clark to remind him that true bipartisanship is agreeing with the Left.

UPDATE: The first video posted got zapped, but this new one is even worse. The kid talking to the CNN anchor opposes ObamaCare but he’s still forced to sing about it!

By now many of you have seen the creepy video of the schoolchildren at the B. Bernice Young Elementary School in Burlington, NJ chanting praises to Barack Hussein Obama, complete with miniature Third Reich style arm salutes. The amusingly terse response (clearly delivered through clenched teeth) that the School District offered once they realized they had been caught red-handed indoctrinating children with Leftist ideology, only underscores the obvious fact that those people know full well that their programming methods cannot withstand scrutiny and must be kept well-hidden, lest their tactics become widely known.

Of course, we only got to see the culmination of what must have been a much longer lesson plan extolling the myriad shining virtues of Barack Hussein Obama. What happened just before the video starts?

**************************************

Teacher: Good morning, boys, girls, and those of you who haven’t decided yet. Today, I want to talk to you about the United States and what a great country we live in. Raise your hands and tell me why you think we live in a great country. Yes, Tyler?

Tyler: Because we have freedom?

Teacher: No, that’s not why. Brianna?

Brianna: Because we have justice for all?

Teacher: No. That’s not right, either. There isn’t justice for a lot of poor people and undocumented immigrants. Anyone else have an idea? Ryan?

Ryan: Because we are “One Nation Under God”?

Teacher: Oh, no, no, no! Don’t mention God in this classroom again or I’ll have to send you to the Principle’s office! Anyone else? Fatima?

Fatima: Because we have a new President?

Teacher: Yes, that’s right, Fatima! We are a great country now because we have a new President. His name is Barack Hussein Obama and he is our first African-American President. Can you all say Barack Hussein Obama?

Class: Baarrrak Hussayynn Obaaaama!!

Teacher: Yes! Barack Hussein Obama is our new President and the good people in this country elected him to bring us all change and hope. You have a question, Sydney?

Sydney: Yes teacher. Are there bad people in this country? People who didn’t vote for our new President? People who don’t like hope?

Teacher: Oh, yes, Sydney! There are lots of very bad people! They are called Republicans. Can you all say Republicans?

Class: Ree-pubbi-cunnns!

Heather: Teacher? Why would Republicans not want to vote for Barack Hussein Obama?

Teacher: Very good question, Heather. That’s something good people – Democrats – have a hard time with, but the real answer isn’t too difficult to understand. First, can you all say Democrats?

Class: Demo-cats!

Teacher: Yes, Barack Hussein Obama is a Democrat and that makes him good. Republicans are people who want the Earth to overheat so that poor people all over the world will be flooded out of their homes when the ice caps melt. Worse yet, they want all the polar bears to die. They don’t like trees, so they cut them down and put up cement parking garages. They like the air to be dirty so that people get lung diseases but when those people get sick, Republicans don’t want them to be able to go to the hospital. Instead, Republicans just want them to die. Republicans want children like you to go to bed hungry at night. They are racists and don’t like African-American children. In fact, Republicans really like war and so they think up all sorts of silly reasons to start wars so that lots and lots of innocent children all over the world can get killed.

(All the children start to cry.)

Addison: Why are Rebubicuns so mean?

Teacher: That’s a very good question, Addison. Does anyone know the answer?

Brandon: Maybe because their Mommies and Daddies were mean to them when they were little?

Teacher: That’s a good guess, Brandon. But, there is a better reason. Someone else? Kahlid?

Kahlid: I think Republians are mean because they want a lot of money.

Teacher: That’s right, Kahlid. You got it! Republicans are just downright greedy. They start wars so they can steal other people’s stuff and make a lot of money. They want the Earth to warm up because it will cost them too much money to get rid of all the carbon dioxide. They don’t like trees and flowers because they don’t bring in as much money as parking garages. And do you know who is the worst of all the Republicans? The greediest? Who knows? Hands?? Kayla?

Kayla: Adof Hitler?

Teacher: No, but you’re close. Hitler was pretty bad but this person was even worse. Abdul?

Abdul: Was it…ummm…George Bush?

Teacher: You’re right, Abdul! George W. Bush was the greediest Republican. He was the President before Barack Hussein Obama. He cheated in the election so he could get to be President. Then he lied to all the American people so he could start a war and steal all the oil from the people in Iraq. He killed millions of children so he and his Republican friends could get lots more money. He tried to poison the air and the water and wrecked our economy, all so he and his Republican friends could make still more money. He even…

(All the children start to cry much louder.)

Teacher: Oh, no! Children! Don’t cry! Everything is going to be fine now that we have our new President! The United States is a great country now because all the good Democrats were able to vote for Barack Hussein Obama and there were so many of them that the mean Republicans weren’t able to stop all of them from voting. So, Barack Hussein Obama is now the new President and he will fix all the bad things George W. Bush and the bad Republicans did.

Taylor: But how is he going to do that, Teacher?

Teacher: Well, Taylor, all the Democrats wanted hope and change, so the first thing Barack Hussein Obama did was make a law that gave a lot of money to all the good people. It was called a Stimulus Bill. Can you all say Stimulus Bill?

Children: Stimmuous Pill!

Teacher: Then, since George W. Bush ruined the economy, Barack Hussein Obama had to take over a big car company, which was good because now the car company will have to make cars that run on solar power so they won’t pollute any more. Barack Hussein Obama had to go to all the countries that George W. Bush hurt and apologize for stealing their stuff, so now all those countries like America again. Countries like Cuba and North Korea are our friends, now. He stopped the big war in Iraq and gave them back the oil that George W. Bush stole. Now, Barack Hussein Obama is trying to make sure that anyone who gets sick can go to a hospital and get well, and it won’t cost them anything. He’s going to make sure you all have food to eat, too, and I’ll bet he even wants to buy each one of you children an ice cream cone!

Jayden: Does Barack Hussein Obama have lots of money?

Teacher: No, Jayden, he is just a regular working person who spent his young life organizing poor people, but he wants to take away all the money from the bad and greedy Republicans so that he can give it to the people who really need it. He’s just like Robin Hood!

Children: Yaaaayy! Hooray for Barack Hussein Obama!

Aquanetta: I have an idea, Teacher! Why don’t we make up a song to sing about our President, Barack Hussein Obama, to tell him how much we love him and thank him for all the good he is doing for everyone?

Teacher: That’s excellent! How should it start? Does anyone have any ideas?

Jason: How about this? Mm, mm, mm! Barack Hussein Obama…

The rest you saw on the YouTube video.

If any of this has a ring of truth to it – like it might have really happened this way, (and probably has in countless schools across the country) then you might seriously consider homeschooling your children.

A young mind is a terrible thing to waste.

“…if the left wants to discredit charges of Socialism, Communism, Nazism and Fascism; they should really think about not emulating Fascist, Communist, Socialist and Nazi regimes.”

I recently saw the first video of the school kids singing the Barack Obama song in class. At first I thought it was the promo for the new “Children of the Corn” film or perhaps another remake of “Village of the Damned”, but alas, it is not. It is real. But I think it’s way scarier than either of those two retreads will be. This is the single spookiest thing I’ve seen since “Jeepers Creepers” in the theater. It’s a bigger freak show than that Nancy Pelosi press conference where she lied about the CIA.

But, it tells us a lot. It is another nugget of insight into the twisted logic and belief system that plagues the modern left. It should be analyzed, discussed, and studied like the Zapruder film.

Again, I must reiterate that if the left wants to discredit charges of Socialism, Communism, Nazism and Fascism; they should really think about not emulating Fascist, Communist, Socialist and Nazi regimes. As a child I remember films of kids my age in China, all dressed in creepy uniforms with red ties, pledging allegiance to photos of Chairman Mao.

This was shown to illustrate a BAD thing, not as a trailer of things to come.

Nationalism? Respect for the President? Pride in civic responsibility? I’m all about it. I think reciting the Pledge of Allegiance before the school week is a great tradition. Singing songs that praise a specific, contemporary leader and his policies? Meh, not really a good idea.

The teacher of this class, and a good number of the parents of the students involved will be confused by my outrage. On MSNBC, Norah O’Donnell seemed equally puzzled. They’re just kids. It’s just a song about the president. How is that indoctrination?

Why are you quirky tea-baggers letting your kettle boil over?

I’ll tell you why, you weak-minded, neo-fascist, tools. Because our nation is built upon ideals and principles, not on individual leaders. We do not worship our elected officials. The relationship of politician to populace; that they are the servants of the public, is a cornerstone of our democracy. It is one of the keys to our continued success.

I would love to ask that teacher how thrilled she would be if I passed out Ronald Reagan T-shirts and taught the kids a little diddy I worked up about how George W. Bush kept America safe from terrorist attacks for eight years? I think that video would prompt a melodramatic Keith Olbermann monologue and drive Maureen Dowd to lament the poisoning of our youth. But hey, a song about our exalted ruler is just a display of patriotism, and an SEIU sponsored Black History Month exercise.

But I would never dream of teaching a class to sing a song called “Sarah Palin, Queen of the Wild Frontier” because that’s not part of my DNA. Conservatives and Libertarians are naturally skeptical of leadership and resist government at all costs. I think it’s slowly starting to sink in with folks that it really isn’t about the interpretation of our existing government that is the debate, but the very definition of that government that is disputed. We don’t want a Republican health care bill that favors the insurance companies and drug companies to counterbalance the Democratic underwriting of unions and trial lawyers. We don’t want any health care bill because we either like our health care, or we recognize the simple fact that government intervention is the cause of our health care woes in the first place.

People need something lofty to believe in. Some people believe in God. Some people believe in ideas. Some people believe in themselves.

The weakest of our species put their faith and devotion into other mortals. A dictator is just a single person. A man of flesh and blood who rises to power through the irrational, emotional, and uneducated support of others. People who lack the conviction to believe in either a God, a set of principles, or themselves gravitate towards charisma and empty promises.

Instead of combing through history to find out why other nations “hate” us, perhaps the left and the media (I know, a redundant statement) should look at other aspects of world history. How did a failed art student with a bad haircut and a silly mustache end up starting a world war? How did a former assistant librarian end up killing 20 million of his countrymen? How did a seminary drop out become a ruthless dictator? What is the end result of the deification of a leader? How well does it work out for societies when they abandon ideas and embrace personality? What happens when we set aside republican checks and balances and vest power in an individual?

Hit the Wikipedia and answer those questions my friends and you will understand why this Tea Partier has his bags tied up in knots.

Now, I’m not a teacher, but let me ring the bell and start the lesson for all my homies out there in the teacher’s union. We don’t worship politicians in America, and with very good reason. World history is full of dictators and monarchs. Our republic is unique, and it is an amazing success. Obama works for us; we do not praise and pay homage to him. Teaching our children that our President, the leader of the free world, is actually the employee of every American citizen is the real lesson for the tykes here. If America was a giant Wendy’s, Obama would be the manager, Joe Biden would be working the fryer and Rahm Emmanuel would be running the drive through. We, the American people, own it!

Next week kids, we’ll discuss how we fire our employees.

The world has changed!

CHORUS:
Oooo Im a proud American
Oooo yes yes yes yes YES WE CAN!

Im going to study really hard just like Barack
Learning never ever stops
Gonna set my goals HIGH and graduate
You might be looking at the President of 2048!

We are a nation of a thousand colors, look at me
Our strength is our diversity
Walking hand in hand we sing
Each a day a little closer to the dream of Dr. King

(Exerpt from MLK’s “I Have a Dream, 1963)

Together we walk
Me and you
So so much work
Left to do.

Chords:
G C G D
G C G D

D C G
D C – G

“On November 4th 2008, we held a mock presidential election in my third grade classroom. Students spoke their minds about the candidates, and I facilitated making sure all sides were heard. Secret ballots were cast, and Barack Obama won getting 18 out of 20 votes. John McCain and Cynthia McKinney split the remainder. Later that night of course history was made.

“The students arrived the next day absolutely glowing. We talked about the historical significance of Obama’s victory, and they then imagined what it would be like to run for office themselves. Each student made a poster portraying him or herself as candidate and the issues they would address in the year 2048.

“Obama’s victory opened their minds to the possibility that they too could one day be commander in chief—or anything for that matter. What they needed to do was STAY IN SCHOOL and work very very hard. At no time were the children told by me they should look up to Obama. The fact that most did already reflects what they learned at home and amongst their peers, not by any indoctrination in the classroom.

“We began to write the song after watching the Inauguration. Our school day is packed bell to bell with academics, but were usually able to spend the last five minutes of singing songs as short ELD (English Language Development) activities. Day by day we used this tiny window of time to brainstorm lyrics. As the song took shape, the children became more and more proud of their accomplishment. It soon morphed into a tribute to MLK and others honored for their work towards social justice.

“By February the song was done. We got requests to come and perform from adjacent classrooms that heard it coming from our room at the end of the day. Their egos boomed. I decided to make it something they’d never forget by producing the video. Nobody forced the children to participate–in fact a few sat it out. When it was finished, they were hoping the President himself would see it and wanted to be able to show it to friends and relatives. We got the consent of parents as well as the administration and put it online.

“That’s the story. We hope you like the song.”

Today we became aware of a video that was placed on the internet which has been reported in the media. The video is of a class of students singing a song about President Obama. The activity took place during Black History Month in 2009, which is recognized each February to honor the contributions of African Americans to our country. Our curriculum studies, honors and recognizes those who serve our country. The recording and distribution of the class activity were unauthorized.
