Lonewolf Diaries: Europe Waaaaay More Racist Than America

by Steven Crowder

You may be asking… “Really? I know the title is meant to be provocative, but do you REALLY think Europeans are more racist than Americans?”

The correct answer is: Abso-freaking-lutely! Have you ever spent time with French, Irish or Eastern Block folk? The prejudice is often laughably absurd.

aaaaaaa

Before you go and point the finger, let me state that I am completely aware of the irony in that previous statement (lumping everyone into one category while labeling them “prejudice”). However, since we’re dealing with the mythical “racist redneck” generalization that is frequently tossed at Americans, I’m going to speak of Europe as a whole simply to save time. (more…)

Why Were the Emmys Not ‘Racist’?

by John Ziegler

I am no fan of awards shows. To me, it is one of the strongest proofs of the weakness of our society that the endeavor to which we give the most prominent and glamorous honors is that of movie and television “acting” (or, to paraphrase Jerry Seinfeld, “Saying what someone else told you to say”).

eee

I also abhor false or frivolous claims of racism. Of course, according to the media, the end of this scourge was supposed to be of the many dividends of making Barack Obama President, but those of us on the right certainly know this has so far turned out to be one of many lies we were told during the 2008 campaign.  (more…)

Mainstream Media: The Devil Wears Pravda

by John T. Simpson

From the riots and chaos of the 1960s to the anti-war rallies of the Bush years, the American Left’s revolution has been widely televised. In fact, the Big Three and Dead Tree Press played a major part in that revolution. From negative field reporting during the Vietnam War to negative reporting on McCain/Palin and the beatification and election of Barack Obama, the MSM has been marching in lockstep and waving the banner for the American Left all the way. RatherGate, anyone? Doesn’t get much more lockstep than a reporter trying to subvert a presidential election to the Left’s advantage.

herd-of-sheep

But there’s another revolution underway in America today, and you sure as hell won’t see it televised or reported on by our new fourth branch of government. It’s not in their interest to do so. Nothing new there. For a long time now, political corruption has been rampant in the Leftist ‘mainstream’ media. In 1998, Matt Drudge made his big mark breaking the Monica Lewinsky scandal, which Newsweek had buried to protect President Clinton. Think Obama’s Tiger Beat would have done that for Bush? (more…)

Daily Gut: You Win, I’m Racist!

by Greg Gutfeld

And so within hours of posting my Gregalogue, a bilious blogger did what bilious bloggers do best: call me a racist. Which is awesome, because it proves my point. In the world of racial politics, all you have to do is call someone a racist, and you win!

Game over.

And now, White House press secretary Robert Gibbs is pretty much doing the same thing preemptively, telling critics of Judge Sonia Sotomayor to watch what they say when it comes to her confirmation hearing. This is amazing, only because there was no need to say it at all.  (more…)

One Critic’s Review of ‘Roxana: A True Story’

by John T. Simpson

Now that ‘Roxana: A True Story’ has come to a most satisfying and happy conclusion for Roxana Saberi, her parents, myself and millions of others around the globe (a conclusion not always assured, and which looked very grim in some scenes), it is now time for Your Most Humble and Obedient Critic to give you the full skinny on ‘Roxana: A True Story.’

Or, by its Hollywood acronym, RATS. Funny. I actually found that startling contraction fitting, not for Roxana (not hardly), but for all of the major black hats and clueless morons who populated this nerve-wracking Thugocracy Studios production, which had civilized people everywhere both riveted and outraged in its most grueling and suspenseful moments.

Not to mention for Roxana and her parents. But before we get to heroes and villains, let us look at the story to date with all its dramatic twists and underpinnings, many with significant international implications. Just like a good Hitchcock drama should. And I caught ‘em all!

By pure happenstance, Your Most Humble Critic and Boy Reporter was already hot on the job covering Iran (unlike some people) and hammering AMPAS for their tea and finger-cookie soirees with these guys, when I saw what Iran was pulling with Roxana and called it for what it was: a hostage crisis. And on the same day HRW called it the same in a press release on March 13th, which I didn’t find out until the 19th thanks to our on-the-ball Vein Stream Media. (more…)
