‘Gates of Hell’: A Political Movie About Angry Black Men the Left Won’t Celebrate

by Alfonzo Rachel

Black power. Abortion. Terrorism.

These elements make up the work of the prophetically fictional movie, Gates of Hell by Molotov Mitchell and Illuminati Pictures.  I’m not going to go into much of what the movie entails. I’ll let the trailers give you an idea and here’s a link to the synopsis

—–

I will tell you the movie has a hardcore approach in support of the pro-life issue — that approach being in the form of black militants that wreak havoc on abortionists. The movie is also causing a bit of a stir, but it’s not really the liberals and pro-abortionist who are attacking the project, it’s pro-life conservatives!

Why?

Children have been aborted in the millions, which means a lot of abortions are getting past the efforts of pro-lifers. I’m not trying to be contentious, but an effective means to promote the pro-life issue has been wanting. This film is a different tactic; hit the pop culture where they live.  It’s a volatile subject and some people aren’t interested in dealing with it. Though a lot of people see abortion as wrong, they don’t want to interfere with someone else’s choice. They would prefer to avoid the conflict and keep that opinion to themselves as they don’t want to deal with the wrath of the selfish who value their right to choose over the right to life.

John Hawkins of RightWing News: An Interview With Andrew Breitbart

by Righteous Indignation: Excuse Me While I Save the World!

John Hawkins of RightWing News recently interviewed Andrew Breitbart about his new book.  It’s a fun interview and a great read!

I always find it fascinating when people who used to be liberal say they turned to the right. That happened with you. Can you tell us about it?

Well, it’s a cliché from the left to the right. And it’s usually a story of opportunism in those few cases where the people move from the right to the left. It’s almost embarrassing to go back into my liberal background because it was about as shallow a belief system as humanly possible. It was go-along to get-along social. It was living in Los Angeles, being young, and single, and flowing with the trendy liberal crowd.

When I started to work in Hollywood at a fairly low level delivering scripts around town, listening to AM talk radio, I at first listened to it as a novelty. But I started to have certain things in my life going on such as living in a rent controlled apartment, having listened to the Clarence Thomas hearings, the OJ Simpson trial — I just started to see trends in my personal experiences that ran so contrary to what the media narratives were. At first I was flummoxed by it and then I just started to listen to certain people on the radio who were more clear thinking than the professors that I had in college.

I remember thinking when I was in college that a lot of these known Chomsky-like, verbose high lefty thinkers made absolutely no sense but I thought that was my problem. So when I started to listen to conservative thinkers and to read conservative thinkers, there was a clarity of thought. It wasn’t muddled. It wasn’t confusing. It started to make sense at an intellectual level and tie into the values that my parents gave me when I was a young kid that I diverted from when I was in high school.

So it was basically a reconnecting with everything that my parents attempted to instill in me in my youth. It has made me sleep a lot better at night, being centered and oriented with human nature as opposed to living in a world of self loathing nihilism, trying to undo human nature, and trying to create a path towards an unrealistic utopia.

Now, you were recently banned from the front page of The Huffington Post….

Oh, the tragedy of my life.

(Laughs) It is, it is. Apparently you made some sort of ad hominem attack on Van Jones and The Huffington Post has a policy against that. It must have been in place for at least two minutes or so before you were banned. Can you talk about that?

As Government Shutdown Looms, Gwyneth Paltrow Stands Behind Planned Parenthood

by John Nolte

—–

How ironic is this? It just so happens that spoiled, entitled, multi-millionaire celebrities who advocate the government confiscate my hard-earned money to fund their anti-human nihilism are the very people who make me think abortion might not always be wrong.

Scarlett Johansson Defends Planned Parenthood as Health Clinic

by John Nolte

—–

Via the left-wing Politico:

“A cancer that goes undetected, a sexually transmitted disease left untreated, a woman unable to get the birth control she needs to plan her family and take control of her own destiny. This is the disastrous vision of some leaders in the United States Health of Representatives,” Johansson says in a new YouTube video. “Every year, Planned Parenthood provides this essential care to millions of women, men and teens. For many people — especially those with low incomes — Planned Parenthood is their only source of health care. Let your members of Congress know where you stand.”

Misogynist Matters: Left-Wing Furor Over Planned Parenthood Videos Proves They Hit the Mark

by Greg Gutfeld

So Live Action unleashed more undercover videos filmed at Planned Parenthood clinics. In the latest, the pranksters, posing as a pimp and prostitute, told the case worker that they run a “sex work” clinic with 14 and 15 year old girls. They then asked how to bring them in for abortions or STD tests without getting caught.

Naturally, lefties like Media Matters said these vids were no big deal. Yet, because of these tapes, they’ve joined 26 progressive groups in pleading to Congress not to defund Planned Parenthood.

So what’s it gunna be – a big deal, or no big deal?

Well, if the angry left must circle its wagons around PP, then it’s a HUGE deal.

These idiots, though, fail to realize that it’s too late: PP has already admitted they’re wrong – by firing the guilty. And now, the organization announced it will retrain thousands of staff members – and also can anyone who doesn’t comply when it came to reporting minors in trouble.

So this prank was a massive, vital success, for it exposed a horrible flaw in the ideology of confidentiality that allows sexual abuse to occur.

Yet Media Matter’s Eric Boehlert tweets mockingly about it.

(They should change the name to Misogynist Matters.)

ObamaVision: Brace Yourselves For the NBC-GE ‘Green Week’ Push

by John Nolte

Just as political correctness is nothing more than left-wing fascism disguised as tolerance, global warming climate change is nothing more than socialism disguised as nonsense. The tactics change, the goals remain the same, and the arts are as effective a tool as ever.

The Left understands this, which is why the White House pushed to co-opt the National Endowment for the Arts (as though they needed co-opting) and the Entertainment Industry Foundation bent over backwards to push “volunteerism” — which is just another word for funneling the unsuspecting to Internet portals with pro-ObamaCare videos, Planned Parenthood ads and a nifty “glitch” where when you type in “Republican” you’re directed to left-wing groups.

Next week, and for the third year in a row, NBC will inject enviro-friendly messages into its primetime line-up, including a “30 Rock” appearance by former Vice President Al Gore. This push is not about ratings (Al Gore?) and it’s not about an Ed Begley Jr.-style of do-gooderism. And not only will this politically correct environmentalism infect the entertainment division, those left-wing ideological warriors disguised as the NBC News Division have also  jumped on board … and not just the Obama-ites at MSNBC.

Starting Monday, a number of Big Hollywood contributors will take an in-depth look at the insidious artistic, business and political maneuverings behind this push, which Bill O’Reilly discusses at length in this Talking Points Memo: (more…)

Rep. Jeff Fortenberry (R-NE)

‘We a people who give children life, not who destroys them.’

by Rep. Jeff Fortenberry (R-NE)

Fifty years ago, Lorraine Hansberry became the first African-American woman to produce a Broadway play, with her timeless and iconic A Raisin in the Sun. Theatergoers at the Ethel Barrymore were shocked, as the New York Times put it on March 12, 1959, by the play’s “vigor as well as veracity,” raving that Hansberry’s masterpiece was “likely to destroy the complacency of anyone who sees it.” Generations since have been stirred by the profundity with which Hansberry detailed the trials and triumphs inherent in the human condition and the strength of character, resiliency, and unbreakable spirit that define the American dream for even the poorest and most vulnerable among us. Yet there is one clear message that has been forgotten over the last half-century, as we are faced with a poverty much greater than Hansberry’s cast of characters could have ever imagined: the ravages of government-subsidized abortion has brought upon a decimated Black community.

Lorraine Hansberry

Recently the Secretary of State appeared before the House Foreign Affairs Committee and confirmed it is the Administration’s goal of including abortion as an integral element of “reproductive health care” provided by the United States. In this context, I had the opportunity to raise concerns about her words of praise for Margaret Sanger, the notorious American racist who founded Planned Parenthood and advocated tirelessly for eugenic policies to eliminate persons she deemed inferior and unworthy to live.

Today, when twice as many Black children are eliminated through abortion than are born, Lena Younger’s stern words to her son, “We a people who give children life, not who destroys them,” evoke the strength, pride, and hope that characterized the soaring spirit of the civil rights movement. Her words should be lifted on billboards and sung through every corner of the world, but little mention is made of her stirring affirmation of life. (more…)

George Tiller, Abortion, and Moral Clarity

by Joseph C. Phillips

The fact that those of us opposed to abortion find the work of late term abortionist George Tiller perverse and immoral does not mean that we give sanction to his assassination – either overtly or privately.

Scott Roeder, Tillers alleged killer, is misguided — and according to the New York Daily News, mentally ill. He is a man that has gone to great lengths to set back a cause he held so dear. Pro-abortion activists on the left have long accused the membership ranks of the pro-life movement as being filled with religiously rabid hypocrites and domestic terrorists, and of being part of a growing cadre of right wing extremists. Roeder’s lack of moral clarity has now provided them with a poster child. Just as the pro-life movement was winning converts and making legal headway with passionate, but reasoned and civil arguments against the practice of abortion, Roeder steps forward to tear down what had taken decades to build. He deserves our scorn (and pity) as much as Tiller. Murder is wrong. Roeder must be prosecuted to the full extent of the law and if found guilty he must be punished.

In fact, it is our collective inability to bring such moral clarity to the entire issue of abortion that has led to the deep cultural divisions and produced the kind of violence that killed Tiller. (more…)

A Republican Platform For The 21st Century

by John T. Simpson

I have been a proud conservative Republican my entire life. My father and Jimmy Carter saw to that. My first vote ever was for Ronald Reagan in 1980, and I have never voted for a Democrat. Ever. Even today, the reasons for my being so have not changed, despite the media’s and liberal Democrats’ tireless efforts to discredit my belief system. Though the times may change, core principles never do. I have also served this nation proudly in uniform for six years, and don’t regret a minute of it.

In the early 1980s, my military service brought me to some of the darker corners of the world. I spent time in South Korea and Marcos’ Philippines when both countries were under martial law. Knowing I could be shot just for being in the wrong place at the wrong time really woke me up to what exactly it is we have here in America. Seeing a thousand Vietnamese Boat People pulled out of the South China Sea in one day only reinforced my belief in America, Sweet Land of Liberty.

Today, the Party of Lincoln and Reagan appears to be in political disarray, which is why I am writing this OpEd now. Yet many promising developments, along with some huge mistakes by Congress and the Obama Administration, have opened many new doors for us. If only we will enter. (more…)
