I found myself in a bit of a grouchy mood when cud-chewer Michael Moore said something to the effect of White America bein’ all mad about a black president.

Really? It was the white vote that got him elected. And if you’re so sure about your statement, then does that mean you (Michael Moore) have a problem with Obama based on his ethnicity?

Is there somethin’ you’re trying to avoid telling us? Looks to me like you’re trying to mitigate your own bigotry by broad-brushing everybody with your disposition. That’s right. You’re projecting, you miserable jackass; which makes sense because you’re a socialist and you expect people to share in a miserable existence.

I’m sick of white liberals like Michael Moore who patronize black people and try to stay in their good graces by falsely accusing white people of racism, and then try to further validate it with some bogus display of self effacement. This joker is a prime example of how white democrats feel that they’re the ones who are tuned in to the black community. They can speak for us. They know us, and where that notion comes from is due to them thinking that they own us.

And the sadder part is, is that too many black people are suckered by this pandering, and shack there shackles like it’s a damn tambourine, singin’ the praises of Democrats.

Michael Moore goes on to say some junk about Obama getting the youth vote and not the vote of the older folks.

You know? It should speak volumes that Obama got the youth vote, and not the vote of the matured. Hello! The matured have had some time to think through some things, live through some things, learn from some things.

But Michael Moore doesn’t learn, because his backwardness causes him to use his mouth twice as much as his ears. What’s more, Michael Moore hates America. The TSA should be crawlin’ over that wildebeest like fleas.

But no. This America hater isn’t a suspect. Those of us who enjoy this republic are the suspects. Janet Napolitano thinks of us as right wing extremist, and dangerous. Obama has referred to us as the enemy.

Now I can understand a pat down. If you want to get into a club you’re most likely gonna get patted down. You don’t want drama to start up in the club, and you definitely don’t want none on a plane. But a pat down is one thing, and we’re steppin’ into the realm of a frisky frisk. The PATRIOT Act never demanded that I use my webcam to show national security my junk. Ya hear that Michael Moore?

How ‘bout we let the military fully do their job. How about allowing water-boarding if necessary, Ms. Behar? “Why. Don’t you get water-boarded?” she asks. Um, because I’m not involved in a mass murder plot.

If Joy Bahar really disagrees with water-boarding then she wouldn’t even wish it upon people she disagrees with. But the sad part is that she is so quick to recommend it for a person she disagrees with but is offended that it would be done to a person who would saw a man’s head off.

This is the backwards mentality of the Left. Why doesn’t our government show the kind of zeal they’re demonstrating with airport security and do that with border security? The liberal government wants us to learn how to live with terrorism like herpes.

The terrorists are going to find a way. Hell, it can even get to a point where a big group of ‘em book a flight together, and the night before the flight they load up on some beans; cause at this point farts aren’t considered a potential threat, and a tummy full of flatulence ain’t gonna set off any alarms.

So they can get on the plane and just start lettin’ em slip at cruising altitude. The passengers will be trapped aboard a cabin filling up with funky vapors and won’t know where it’s coming from because the terrorists have been well trained to release the farts silently every time. Taking silent but violent to a whole new level, right?

And just when enough farts have been released to trigger the oxygen mask, they’ll activate a discrete detonator and bam:

A Fart-twah at thirty thousand feet.

As I was driving to Wisconsin on Thursday a disturbing report came on the news. A mass shooting had taken place at Fort Hood in Texas. The details were unclear, at first report there were several shooters and seven dead. Several thoughts crossed my mind, solders suffering from PTSD, disgruntled civilian employees and of course a terrorist attack.

As details became clearer the death toll rose and the attack seemed to be the work of a single shooter, Major Nidal Malik Hasan, a devout Muslim. As the day wore on it became clear that Major Hasan held radical beliefs concerning United States foreign policy and had shared those beliefs not with just a few close friend but with just about anyone who would listen.

Then it was announced that the President was going to speak about the shootings. I expected to hear a calming voice that would honor those slain and get to the heart of the matter: We have a serious problem in this country with domestic terrorists both in and out of the military and we need to do something about it.

Since I had been in the car all day and listening to news/talk radio I knew the President was at a meeting of American Indian tribal leaders. When he came on the radio his first remarks were not about Fort Hood but about the conference. His tone wasn’t serious but he jokingly made comments about the conference. I don’t want to try to read too much into this but usually when we speak we talk about the most important things first and then move to the trivial. He complimented the Secretary of the Interior for a great day and gave a “shout out” to a conference attendee. He then continued for another 150 words until he got to the shootings. The most important thing he said in reference to the shootings was,

“We will make sure that we get answers to every single question about this horrible incident…”

That is what I wanted to hear! The consequences be damned, we are going to get to the bottom of this. Great! However, before the weekend was over we were being assured, by the President, the Attorney General and the Director of Homeland Security and by any other administration official who could get their mug in front of a camera that this was not an act of terrorism. How could they know? Did they have all the facts? It reminded me of President Obama’s reaction to another much less important incident when his friend was arrested after lipping off to a cop. He said something about not wanting to jump to conclusions but the police acted stupidly.

Why isn’t Major Hasan being considered a terrorist by the White House? Is it because he acted alone? Is it because he used a gun instead of a belt of explosives? Is it because he wasn’t part of a larger group? Is it because he may have been mentally unbalanced?

There have been a number of attacks in this country in recent years that have been dismissed rather than being looked at as acts of terror. Meanwhile some folks are quick to be labeled terrorists. The shooter of an abortion doctor, a lone gunman at the National Holocaust Museum and a bomber at the Olympic Games were all quickly branded terrorists. These were similar to the Fort Hood shooting in that all were done by a single person acting outside any organized group and two of the used firearms rather than explosives. The difference? Major Hasan and others who have committed acts of terror that were not labeled as such were Muslims. Why are we hesitant to label acts of violence by Muslim-Americans “terror?”

Before you go ballistic and claim that I am branding an entire religion as terrorists I want to say I believe that 99.9% of Muslim-Americans are loyal citizens who see their religion as a peaceful one. That being said there are approximately 5000 Muslims serving in the military today. If just .1% of them believe, like Major Hasan, that acts of terror are justified then there are four more guys just like him waiting for their chance.

According to PolitiFact.com the Obama administration has thus far appointed twenty-eight czars! You may have missed some of these but we now have a Great Lakes Czar, so those lakes stay in line and don’t opt for moving to Canada. Come to think of it, some of the Great Lakes already belong to Canada. I wonder if Canada has their own Great Lakes Czar? If they do and there is a conflict would it be Czar Wars?

We now have a Sudan Czar. I thought they had their own Czar, but hey, if it helps improve our image in the Arab world I am all for loaning them a Czar or two. We have a Health Czar despite the fact we have a Surgeon General and to be honest I’m not sure who’s in charge of health. You might think a Czar would outrank a general but a number of third-world countries with tons of Generals are run by colonels.

I addition to having a Czar just for Sudan we have an Afghanistan Czar. Isn’t the President afraid that some countries will feel miffed that he didn’t appoint a Czar just for them? I thought we had a whole State Department with Czars called “ambassadors.” We now have a Mideast Peace Czar and a Mideast Policy Czar. At least the Obama administration has a clear understanding that these two things aren’t related.

We have Herb Allison who is the TARP Czar and Earl Devaney the Stimulus Accountability Czar. Apparently Mr. Allison is not a very accountable guy and needs his own Czar to keep him in the straight and narrow. Do they both answer to the Economic Czar?

We have a Weapons Czar and a Weapons of Mass Destruction Czar; I hope that doesn’t lead to weapons envy.

We have a Border Czar, a Terrorism Czar and an Intelligence Czar. What if a terrorist is crossing the border? Who do we call? Come to think of it, why do we even need a terrorist Czar since Janet Napolitano has told us there are no acts of terrorism only “man-created disasters?”

What this country really needs is a Czar Czar — one uber-Czar to keep all the minor Czars from getting out of line. A person who is feared for their hard line principles. A person with a proven record of successfully eliminating government waste and creating economic success. At the same time the Czar Czar should be someone who can understand and relate to the common man and woman.

Yes, I think Sarah Palin would be an excellent Czar Czar. Hopefully, she will be considered for the job in 2012.

You know, people, it’s a damn shame. I remember when great comedians like Richard Pryor and Lenny Bruce held nothing sacred. I know I don’t. And so many comedians, especially late-nighters, are really missing the boat with President Obama. There’s a wealth of material just waiting to be tapped, and I’m really not looking forward to four more years of lame Bush and Palin jokes. Are you?

All it takes is one person to break the ice. Example. Twenty years ago, my brother won tickets to a Journey concert in Worcester, Massachusetts on the radio. We rode a packed WBCN Party Bus out of Boston, but everyone was kind of uptight and kept to themselves, like there were cops in the crowd. So I took a risk and lit up a big fattie anyway. Within minutes, it was like a Cheech and Chong movie. You couldn’t see out the windows. Everyone was laughing, joking, hacking and toking.

So, at the risk of stinking up the joint again, but with the possible reward of jovial comradery and a few laughs, looks like I’ll have to be the first one to light up. The only real question is, will this be the torching that finally gets me arrested?

So be it. Great reward often involves great risk. To be fair, Jimmy Kimmel went to a black barbershop to ask black people what subjects for humor were taboo or not. Very funny stuff. As for me, I’m gonna live a little more dangerously, like Pryor and Bruce. Here goes my comedy career!

-

“Did you hear President Obama had to cancel his press conference today? Got his halo stuck in a TelePrompTer!”

“President Obama said he’s unlike all those other presidents we’ve ever had, and he’s right. What other president in American history could fit in at both an NAACP dinner and a KKK rally?”

“Did you hear Newsweek editor Evan Thomas said Obama was like God? In related news, the American Medical Association recommended that journalists covering the President should see their doctors for regular prostrate exams.”

“The Obamas held their first open-to-the-public Easter Egg Hunt today. Thirty thousand guests hid their wallets around the White House grounds for Timothy Geithner to find!”

“In related news, the Obama Administration seized millions of dollars from the accounts of online poker players. Strangely enough, they were all corporate executives who canceled junkets to Vegas on the President’s recommendation. Just goes to show, the house always wins!”

“First Lady Michelle Obama was seen walking around London today wearing a stuffed orange snake around her waist. In related news, former GM Chairman Rick Wagoner was spotted walking around Detroit wearing his ass for a hat.”

“Jimmy Carter was honored by the Palestinians today for his support in helping them toward independence. In this Fourth of July spirit, Hamas revelers set off fireworks on Israel.” (I know that wasn’t about Obama. Just mixing it up, like a good sit-down comedian should. Besides, one Carter’s as good as another when it comes to comedy!)

“Well, the Reverend Jeremiah Wright is back in the news again. Said ‘them Jews’ won’t let him in to see Obama. Seems the Good Reverend is going to unusual lengths to get an audience with his former parishioner. He was last seen roosting like a chicken on the White House fence.”

“Former Obama associate William Ayers is back in the news. Seems he was barred from entering Canada over a forty-year old felony conviction. Fortunately, he was able to catch a ride back with Janet Napolitano, who was just barred from Canada for felony idiocy.”

“As you all know, the President promised to find new homes for the Chinese Uighur detainees at Gitmo. Four are now in Bermuda, and another thirteen will be soon be sent the island paradise of Palau. In related news, the Taliban and Al Qaeda reported a recent upsurge in recruits.”

-

I tried to come up with Biden jokes. I really did. But the guy’s a Perfect Storm of Comedy. It’s like trying to make jokes about Curly Howard. How can you top perfection?

So there it is. The ice is broken, and possibly my clean criminal record as well. Oh well. Life’s a laugh and death’s a joke, it’s true. By the way, if any of you have any great joke ideas, or know any great Obama jokes, please post them in the comments section. It’s not like anyone in Hollywood or the media is going to steal them and cash in on them. Have fun!

In the 1930’s, when world audiences were asked to name the capital of the U.S.A., one answer was high on the list: “Hollywood.” That was the location listed at the end of every amazing movie: “Made In Hollywood.” How could such magic not come from America’s capital?

Such is the power of a single word.

That power has not diminished but only increased with an ADD, multi-channel, hyperactive media-centric world. The silver screen has long given us immortal dialogue which now blends so deeply into the culture that people may not know their origin, but we know the meaning. A wise man I know said, “Image creates perception, perception creates reality.” It couldn’t be more true in the film business.

–

In a media-centric world, from motion pictures to internet to phones, we are pounded with images, forming our perceptions and then creating our reality. How fast did the Internet meme “Cheese Eating Surrender Monkeys” become a daily reference at the coffee klatch, in your email, or on phone calls? Not long. We forget how powerful words can be when written in a clever and pithy way. The masters of dialogue like Charles Brackett, Billy Wilder and I.A.L. Diamond, and the Epstein brothers, knew irreverent and immortal lines. And as producers, writers or just Americans who appreciate a good, nimble turn of a phrase, we should excel at creating phrases that demonstrate the values we hold dear. Don’t understand? “What we have here is a failure to communicate!”

Why bother? Movies (and other media) create the Culture. Culture creates America. America creates the world. When we talk media and politics, this nimble phrase can radiate far and wide. Great dialogue resonates in our brains for weeks, months, even years. Our own snappy comebacks to important values issues can demonstrate a better point of view, an attitude and an insight. Of course, you could use radical phrases like, “I love America” and “I’m against terrorism,” but write up your own snappy comebacks on issues and policy to share with friends. As human beings, we remember great Moments. Movies create moments. Great dialogue reminds of those moments and their images. And great lines can change minds.

We cannot forget the line, used by recent Tea Party groups, “I’m as mad as hell, I’m not going to take it anymore.” And in political theater, who uttered the line, “There you go again”? Ronald Reagan in the debate with Jimmy Carter. It pounded Carter on national TV. Reagan was the President who best understood the nexus of the Power of Media and the Power of Strength when confronting enemies like Soviet International Socialism. Reagan knew from his long career in radio, films, television, and public speaking that people longed for memorable phrases by which to guide their lives. The simpler, the better – easier to remember, easier to repeat, easier to live by. Why else are words of wisdom from great books and the Ten Commandments short and to the point?

So what does this have to do with any of us? The genius of the American people is self-evident. No society on earth has created such a robust population, teeming with energy and creating a vast marketplace of ideas. When talking with friends, family or working in the media world, each of us can create dialogue that spreads our values and our message about the troops, our country, and more. I saw a TV show one day where some actress proclaimed that a man who tried to sexually assault her was either a “pervert or Clarence Thomas.” A few words and this image becomes a perception that morphs into a reality for millions (or in the case of this show), thousands of viewers about this noble Justice. When Homeland Security head Janet Napolitano reframes terrorism into “Man Caused Disaster,” she’s putting auto exhaust sparks that accidentally caused a thousand acre fire on the same level as planes slamming into buildings of innocent Americans. “The greatest trick the devil every played was convincing the world he didn’t exist.”

Words everywhere matter. “You want answers? I want the truth! You can’t handle the truth!” Words are weapons. When you refer to China, use the term, “Socialist Left-wing dictatorship.” The prisoners in Chinese gulags, persecuted Christians and political dissidents will attest to that. If somebody mentions “Religious Right,” then counter with “Atheist Left.” It’s never “Gun Control” but “Second Amendment Civil Rights.” Newspapers are infected with political correctness. “Islamic rioters in France” are “disaffected youth,” according to some reporters. Does “cheese eating surrender monkeys” come to mind?

Whenever I’m given an application or form with boxes for “Race,” I check “Other:________” and write one word.

“Human.”

“Human,” Hollywood…single words can be powerful. Revolutionary. Watch the words you use in your everyday life and in your work to reflect the values we hold dear about Freedom and America. There’s great tradition in snappy comebacks and immortal phrases to change the culture, America, and the world. Words are our First Freedom, but everyday we have to ask ourselves…

“Is it safe?”

Their valor is second to none. But are drugs helping them get the job done? According to Men’s Health, American troops are taking piles of prescription meds – citing a U-S army survey that found 12 percent of soldiers in Iraq and 15 percent in Afghanistan reported taking antidepressants, anti-anxiety medications, or sleeping pills.

But– not mentioned in this strange article: Their prescription med use is actually lower than the national average.

Funny, that. We actually did some digging and found that 10 percent of Americans take drugs to combat depression and 25 percent take sleep medications. That’s a total of 35 percent – double that of those brave folks in the military.

In short, Men’s Health should stick to flat abs.

See, I was once the editor of Men`s Health, and I can attest that health editors are, for the most part, the unhealthiest people I know. They`re a mix of hypochondriacs and boozers, shoveling pills and pilfering smokes at night – then hectoring the masses about vitamins in the day. They take loads of meds, but unlike our military, they don`t have the excuse of being shot at by terrorists, or watching their friends die. Their biggest concern? Whether there are high fiber muffins in the cafeteria. You have to stay regular, people.

To say it`s disingenuous to do a story about soldiers’ drug use and not mention it’s far less than the country as a whole is an understatement. It`s actually great news that our brave soldiers – who face death daily – aren’t as hooked on pills as we are. (And I`m sure if the writer discovered that the soldiers weren`t getting proper medication, they would have done an even more damning portrayal of the military.)

So why did this story run? Well, because the media doesn`t understand the military or why soldiers would actually like their jobs. Soldiers don`t join because they were out of options, and they aren`t crazy for wanting to defend our country. The sad fact is, this article is just one of many that enjoys painting the military as dangerous dudes with guns. If you remember the recently pulled DHS report on right wing extremism, you know Janet Napolitano felt the same way.

It`s no wonder our guys need pills.

I am a stand- up comic and I love what I do for a living but I hate traveling to get there. I do between 125 and 150 road dates a year. Fortunately for me I can drive to a lot of my gigs and I would rather be at the mercy of the potholed, drunk driver infested, revenue enhancing state police-filled interstate highway system than under the thumb of our crack security force the TSA.

Isn’t it nice that after 9/11 the government, under a supposed small government conservative president, decided to take over a large portion of the airline business and provide security at all airports? I don’t know why they stopped there. Aren’t Major League Baseball games potential terrorist? Why doesn’t the TSA provide security for MLB and its patrons? In Israel terrorist often target restaurants and shopping centers so why isn’t Homeland Security saving the businesses at the mall a few bucks and having the TSA chase the skateboarders out of the food court.

I have never like the term “Homeland Security Agency” it has a strange ring that falls somewhere between “brown shirts” and “big brother” for me. The TSA was founded under the premise that the security of the nation was too important to trust to minimum wage, under-educated folks in bad blue blazers. It was time to have our security in the hands of unionized, $14 an hour professionals. Alright, it’s the same people but now they have nice uniforms and now we are paying their heath care and retirement. I don’t know about you, but I feel much more secure.

If you are of a certain age you can remember when flying was a little nicer than it is today. There was a time, my children, when people didn’t front up to the airport in an Under Armour t-shirt and matching boxer shorts and nothing else. There was also a time when the airline companies had, and I hate to use this word, standards! Before every third person in America was a tort attorney, companies had policies which they enforced. That meant your “companion cat” went into baggage and if you didn’t like it they would call Greyhound for you. Now, Miss “My cat is more than a pet and it has rights” will sue the pants off of anyone who wants to try to stop her from taking her cat everywhere she goes. Maybe that’s what happened to Mr. Under Armour?

There was a time when if you were taking a forty minute flight from St. Louis to Chicago you could get to the airport thirty minutes early and be in the Windy City two hours after you left your home. Now you have to be at the airport two hours before the flight and if you are not on the plane 15 minutes before scheduled departure time you can be denied boarding. Your 11:00 A.M. flight is really a 10:45 flight so make yourself comfortable next to Mr. “I was partying pretty heavy last night and didn’t shower or brush my teeth this morning,” for an extra quarter of an hour.

Right now Janet Napolitano or one of her toadies is probably adding my name to the “do not fly list” for doubting the need for the agency she heads up and talking trash about the TSA.

I may be driving a lot more next month.

I say, why wait! While a lot of pundits and talking heads are busy dissecting the first hundred days of the Obama Nation, I’m looking to the future! I am going into one of my famous psychic trances to peer into the next hundred days.

In late 2008, I published a list of predictions for this year on my personal blog and many of them have already come to pass. Because of this success and the urging of many liberal readers on Big Hollywood who have encouraged me to get a life, I am giving up comedy and am starting a career as a psychic predictor!

My service as a psychic predictor may be a great boon to the conservative cause. There is very little we can do about the past. The budget is done, TARP is passed and the stimulus is, well attempting to stimulate. It’s hard to stop a truck that has already begun rolling down the hill but if we know what is coming then maybe we can act rather than react.

Here are some things that will happen in the next one hundred days:

1. Barack Obama gives the commencement address at Notre Dame. He urges the Church to lighten up! Notre Dame needs to be more inclusive. Since they have already lowered their standards by honoring a pro-abortion politician maybe they could drop their admission requirements and stop discriminating against the stupid.

2. Obama encourages Congress to pass the so called “Cap and Trade” legislation. Without this legislation he says temperatures will rise sharply through June, July and August. If the bill is passed cooling could start as soon as late September or early October.

3. Obama comes up with a great plan for the prisoners at Gitmo. They start a military tribunal to try the prisoners and then hold them in a new prison to be built on the U. S. Naval Base at Diego Garcia. All prisoners at Guantanamo Bay are sent to the middle of the Indian Ocean and the reputation of the United States is restored! Why didn’t the Bush administration think of this!

4. President Obama nominates himself to the Supreme Court! There’s no Constitutional prohibition to him holding the two offices and since he is a multi-tasker he doesn’t think the job is above his pay grade.

5. Perez Hilton says anyone who believes in traditional marriage is a stupid %$#^& and intolerant! He repeats the statement so many times that the irony builds up in his bloodstream and he becomes magnetic. He exempts President Obama from his wrath because he says everyone knows he was just saying that to get elected.

6. The White House unveils plans for some new photo-ops that include a cruise missile flying by the Texas Statehouse,

7. The Department of Health and Human Services announces a possible pandemic of summer colds. Secretary Sebelius reminds the public that the swine flu had killed only one more person than the common cold.

8. President Obama has no news conferences in July due to a labor stoppage by the International Brotherhood of Teleprompter Operators.

9. Janet Napolitano announces that she found a new way to discover potential enemies of the state. Many of them are registered on their county voting rolls under the heading “Republican.”

10. The OMB announces that by going line by line over the budget it will save over $35,364 over the next seventeen years by having DiGiorno instead of delivery.

In all of history, so far as I’m aware, there had only been two famous tea parties. At the first one, Samuel Adams and a few of his freedom-loving friends pitched several crates of tea into Boston Harbor. The second was the one Lewis Carroll wrote about, a madcap affair with the March Hare, the mad Hatter and the narcoleptic Dormouse, ganging up to give Alice a hard time.

All of that changed on the 15th of April, when a series of tea parties took place all across America. Even I, who try to avoid crowds, attended a gathering here in the San Fernando Valley.

If you believe the creeps in the MSM — and why would you? — we were all dues-paying members of political fringe groups, and none of us would think about leaving the house without first donning our little aluminum hats. If you believe Janet Napolitano — and how could you? — we were not merely man-created disasters like Somali pirates and Islamic butchers, but full-fledged terrorists. Some among us even confessed to being military veterans.

Well, either she is very wrong or I am. To me, the 3,000 people who showed up at the Van Nuys Civic Center looked like pretty decent, average Americans. But, not being the head of Homeland Security, I can’t claim to be an expert when it comes to spotting terrorists. Heck, all I know is that when I look at the likes of Charles Schumer, Barney Frank, Chris Dodd, Barbara Boxer, Harry Reid, Patrick Leahy, Henry Waxman, Nancy Pelosi and Barbara Lee, my blood runs cold, and when I hear Barack Obama pushing his socialist agenda and reaching out to the likes of Castro, Chavez and Ahmadinejad, the little hairs stand up on the back of my neck. It’s like watching one of those really creepy movies, but instead of all the scary stuff taking place on Elm Street, it occurs on Pennsylvania Avenue.

At the get-together I attended, we were rallied, aroused and amused, by such speakers as comedian Evan Sayet, actress Morgan Brittany and talk show host Kevin James. In fact, my only problem with the event, aside from my decision to wear tennis shorts on a night the temperature dipped into the low 50s, was that the entire focus was on Obama’s insane fiscal policy. I in no way wish to suggest that the bail-outs, the budget and the so-called stimulus package, don’t remind me of something Dr. Frankenstein would have cobbled together in the castle’s basement if his master plan, like Obama’s, had been to destroy capitalism.

However, there are so many other things about the man and his mission that I find terrifying, I hate to have us so busy concentrating on his left hand while, with his right, he muzzles the conservative media; destroys our missile defense capability; funnels funds to ACORN, AmeriCorps and Hamas; nationalizes the banks and takes control of the automotive industry; and, for good measure, discusses nuclear disarmament with Russia while trusting the U.N. to deal with Iran and North Korea.

So, while I regard Obama’s plan to use the tax code to impoverish productive Americans while using tax rebates to bribe those who don’t even pay income taxes as a vile left-wing plot, I’d hate to have my fellow conservatives so completely focused on this one area that they fail to see all the other tricks this con artist has up his sleeve.

Something that has bothered me over the years is the way the lamebrains in the left-stream media invariably turn into unlicensed shrinks whenever a Republican is in the White House, but toss a dust cover over the couch as soon as he’s replaced by a Democrat.

For instance, how many times did we hear liberals babbling about the psychological demons George W. Bush had to contend with because of his allegedly troubled relationship with Dad? But the fact that Bill Clinton’s father was a drunken bully apparently left no emotional scars on Bill’s impenetrable psyche. Furthermore, I have yet to hear such eminent Freudians as Bill Maher, Chris Matthews, Rachel Maddow, Frank Rich or Keith Olbermann, even suggest that being deserted by both his father and his step-father, spending his formative years in the alien culture of Indonesia, only to be dumped, at the age of 10, on his white relatives in Hawaii, may have turned Obama into a smooth-talking, narcissistic psychopath incapable of telling the truth even if it’s about something as relatively inconsequential as sending his kids to a public school and getting them a mutt from a shelter.

Now, of course, I’m not saying he is any of those things. But don’t you think if he had wound up after experiencing all that early trauma as somebody who believed in a free market economy; in supporting Israel against the barbarians; in opposing late-term abortions; in calling terrorism by its rightful name; in attending a church that had more in common with Rick Warren’s than with Jeremiah Wright’s; and in sharing the Constitutional interpretations of Justices Roberts, Alito, Thomas and Scalia, the media would have long ago concluded that even if he wasn’t exactly the Manchurian Candidate, he was definitely a booby who needed to be hatched?
