We can expect plenty more fake news from Comedy Central in 2012.

The cable channel will be adding a new public affairs show satire on top of mock news programs like “The Colbert Report” and “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart.” The only question remaining may be this – will the show lean to the left or the far left?

The untitled program, part of the channel’s new programming slate, promises to tweak programs like “Face the Nation” and “Meet the Press” with an ’80s flair:

The program is from Wyatt Cenac, who is very familiar with fake news programs, given his role as a correspondent on “The Daily Show.” Cenac is serving as host, writer and EP of the still-untitled project.

Both “The Daily Show” and “Colbert” have proven ratings winners, but as the MediaBistro report notes the funny network isn’t batting a thousand in this area. Consider the recent news magazine spoof, “Jon Benjamin Has a Van,” which got the axe after just three episodes.

Senior Obama advisor David Axelrod made the news recently with his comment on NPR’s ‘The Hot Seat’, when he offhandedly remarked that ‘Miss California’ was one of three names considered for President Obama’s new dog, Bo. The remark was met with uproarious laughter by NPR’s Regressive live audience. Then again, the intellectual retards of the Left will laugh at most anything that grossly insults anyone to the right of Stalin, like second graders instinctively laughing at farts.

As to Mr. Axelrod’s crude and lame attempt at insulting humor that should be beneath the dignity of any presidential advisor, I can only conclude that he made that derogatory comment about Carrie Prejean because Miss California shares his boss’s negative attitude  toward gay marriage. (more…)
