Report: Pedophilia Rampant in Hollywood

by John Nolte

What are we supposed to expect from an industry that defends and honors fugitive and admitted child rapist Roman Polanski?

If you can’t bring yourself to condemn someone who drugged and anally raped a 13 year-old girl, you are part of the problem.

Moreover, if you want to know how Hollywood feels about sex with children, you can start by watching their films.

Fox News:

If a spate of recent allegations proves true, Hollywood may have a hideous epidemic on its hands. The past two weeks have brought three separate reports of alleged child sexual abuse in the entertainment industry.

Martin Weiss, a 47-year-old Hollywood manager who represented child actors, was charged in Los Angeles on Dec. 1 with sexually abusing a former client. His accuser, who was under 12 years old during the time of the alleged abuse, reported to authorities that Weiss told him “what they were doing was common practice in the entertainment industry.” Weiss has pleaded not guilty.

On Nov. 21, Fernando Rivas, 59, an award-winning composer for “Sesame Street,” was arraigned on charges of coercing a child “to engage in sexually explicit conduct” in South Carolina. The Juilliard-trained composer was also charged with production and distribution of child pornography.

Registered sex offender Jason James Murphy, 35, worked as a casting agent in Hollywood for years before his past kidnapping and sexual abuse of a boy was revealed by the Los Angeles Times on Nov. 17. Murphy’s credits include placing young actors in kid-friendly fare like “Bad News Bears,” “The School of Rock,” “Cheaper by the Dozen 2” and the forthcoming “Three Stooges.”

Revelations of this sort come as no surprise to former child star Corey Feldman.

Feldman, 40, himself a survivor of childhood sexual abuse, unflinchingly warned of the world of pedophiles who are drawn to the entertainment industry last August. “I can tell you that the No. 1 problem in Hollywood was and is and always will be pedophilia,” Feldman told ABC’s Nightline. “That’s the biggest problem for children in this industry… It’s the big secret.”

Another child star from an earlier era agrees that Hollywood has long had a problem with pedophilia. “When I watched that interview, a whole series of names and faces from my history went zooming through my head,” Paul Peterson, 66, star of The Donna Reed Show, a sitcom popular in the 1950s and 60s, and president of A Minor Consideration, tells FOXNews.com. “Some of these people, who I know very well, are still in the game.”

While Creating Media Storm Around His Sex Crime, Roman Polanski Slams Media Storm Around His Sex Crime

by John Nolte

Looks as thought Roman Polanski has decided to profit from his rape of a thirteen year-old girl by participating in a new documentary film. No word yet on whether or not he received any kind of fee or if the proceeds go to the Anti-Child Sodomy and Flee From Justice Foundation. Thus far, though, the film (and a lifetime achievement award) has already earned Polanski a standing ovation and much adulation from the worst people in the world — those who would applaud a on-the-lam child rapist.

ABC News:

Roman Polanski makes his first public acknowledgement about Samantha Geimer, the 13-year-old model he sexually assaulted in Los Angeles, in a documentary on his life that premiered Tuesday at the Zurich Film Festival.

“She is a double victim: my victim, and a victim of the press,” Polanski says of Geimer in Laurent Bouzereau’s “Roman Polanski: A Film Memoir.” Polanski took to the stage at the Zurich Film Festival Tuesday to accept a lifetime achievement award two years after he was originally intended to receive it, as he was arrested and incarcerated in a Zurich prison at the request of U.S. authorities when he arrived to receive the honor in 2009.

Here’s Samantha Geimer, the woman Polanski raped when she was 13, on GMA today, “He didn’t mean to hurt me.”:

—–

We should all be relieved Geimer has a sense of closure with respect to the crime Polanski committed against her. But Polanski also committed a crime against society. But because Polanski’s a wealthy celebrity with powerful friends, he’s been able to escape justice for decades now. Furthermore, it doesn’t matter how poorly the system treated him or even that his victim has accepted his apology. In the real world outside of child raping-excusing Hollywood, you do the crime, you go through the system and if the system is unjust in some way, there are other parts of the system to remedy that.

If you fix cars for a living or clean hotel rooms, those are your options. But if you’re one of the Beautiful People, you flee to lavish resorts, continue to work with A-listers, and are greeted like some kind of folk hero from the planet Child Molester.

Want to know what would end the media storm that gives Ms. Geimer (understandably) so much stress and anxiety? If people would stop making movies in defense of Polanski, if Polanski would go into seclusion and stop participating in those movies, and if film festivals would stop honoring Polanski.

Kate Winslet Gushes Over Child Rapist Polanski

by Hollywoodland

Have you had your lunch yet? Warning: ”Hollywood Values” can be nauseating:…

The Telegraph:

Kate Winslet praised the “great” Roman Polanski as she promoted the first film he has made since being released from house arrest.

Polanski remains a fugitive from US justice after fleeing the country in 1978, having pleaded guilty to unlawful sexual intercourse with a 13-year-old girl.

However, Winslet had no qualms about the director’s history and jumped at the chance to appear in Carnage, a drama which premiered at the Venice Film Festival.

“When Roman Polanski invites you to join him in any project you really don’t say no,” she said. “I felt extremely fortunate to be included.”

She admitted to feeling nervous about meeting Polanski on set, but only because she was over-awed by his film-making.

Breaking: Roman Polanski Faces Another Rape Allegation

by John Nolte

How many women have to claim they were raped and/or sodomized by fugitive director Roman Polanski before Hollywood starts to treat him with a tenth of the disdain they have for Mel Gibson?  How many, Harvey? Woody? Marty? Ms. Rape-Rape? Natalie? Jeff Norman? WesJeff Wells? Patrick Goldstein? Cinematical? S.T. VanAirsdale? Bertrand-Henri? And all of you who have lent your fame, wealth and support to this pig since he admitted to having sex with a 13 year-old girl?

godofcarnage-polanski-face-tsr

What’s the magic number of victims before you withdraw your support?

This might surprise you, but to we unsophisticated types — no matter how awesome Chinatown was – one is enough; a guilty plea followed by a flight from justice is enough. But because you’re sophisticated, we have to ask.

For the record, if you care, if you’re bothering to keep track, the number is now three:

Another woman has come forward charging that Roman Polanski raped her in 1974, RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned.

The woman, who was 21 at the time, reported the alleged sexual assault to the Los Angeles District Attorney in May and was interviewed by authorities.

Roman Polanski: Evil Wins the Day In Switzerland

by Jeffrey Scott Shapiro

In the Roman Polanski case, Switzerland is on the side of evil. And evil has won.

One week ago today, on Monday, July 12 we learned that Switzerland would not extradite director Roman Polanski back to the United States to face sentencing for a crime he has already pleaded guilty to – having unlawful sexual intercourse with a 13-year old girl after he drugged her in 1977.

free-polanski_badge

Most Americans know the story.

The Oscar winning director of “Chinatown,” “The Pianist,” and “Rosemary’s Baby,” was accused of luring the girl to Jack Nicholson’s house while the actor was out of town under the guide of having a modeling shoot with the child. Once the girl arrived, Polanski allegedly gave her champagne and part of a Quaalude, and then had sexual intercourse with her.

Some Americans have argued that the crime happened so long ago that prosecutors should simply move on. (more…)

Today’s Polanski Supporter: Martin Scorsese

by Big Hollywood

L_Martin_Scorsese_Presents_the_Blues-seriesimage

CNN:

Martin Scorsese has “‘demanded the immediate release’ of fellow filmmaker Roman Polanski, who was arrested in Switzerland on a U.S. arrest warrant related to a 1977 child sex charge.”

The Smoking Gun [EXPLICIT content warning]:

The teenager’s troubling [Ed. Note: she was 13] –and contemporaneous–account of her abuse at Polanski’s hands begins with her posing twice for topless photos that the director said were for French Vogue. The girl then told prosecutors how Polanski directed her to, “Take off your underwear” and enter the Jacuzzi, where he photographed her naked. Soon, the director, who was then 43, joined her in the hot tub. He also wasn’t wearing any clothes and, according to Gailey’s testimony, wrapped his hands around the child’s waist.

Cinematical: Leave That Child Rapist Polanski Alone!

by John Nolte

mn-polanski28_ph_0500652081

In a year end list of the “25 Lamest of 2009,” what the left-wing film site Cinematical obviously sees as the persecution of Roman Polanski ranks at #2, with this mind-boggling rationalization:

Though he’s already spent time in jail, as well as a number of years living with that one act of bad judgment, apparently law enforcement doesn’t have anything better to do with their time than to chase an accused sex offender whose victim doesn’t even want him to be in trouble. I wonder, if the roles were reversed and it was some famous actress in this position — would we still care about this case all these years later, or would college boys have the actress’ poster hanging in their dorm rooms?

“One act of bad judgment.”

“Accused sex offender.”

Accused…? Are they talking about the same Polanski who plead guilty? Facts mean nothing to these people, and I think a better question might be: (more…)

HuffPoster More Outraged By Polanski Critics Than Child Rape

by John Nolte

polanski_94742s

Jeff Norman’s HuffPo article officially allows us to add to a growing list we like to call:

Think How Much Better the World Be If the Left Was…

…as outraged by communism as they are by anti-communists.

…as outraged by terrorism as they are by what the U.S. does to prevent it.

And now:

…as outraged by a fugitive child rapist as they are by his critics.

Take it away Jeff Norman:

Demonstrating the same lack of self-esteem as prisoners who beat up child molesters, noisy segments of the American population continue to hyperventilate over Roman Polanski as if the sexual abuse of minors were not already sufficiently condemned by our society. … (more…)

Polanski Thanks Supporters With Online Letter

by Big Hollywood

polanski-pic

Looks as though fugitive director Roman Polanski has been receiving all kinds of support from those who believe being a “genius director” means never having to say you’re sorry. Not even for drugging and anally raping a thirteen year-old girl and then fleeing from justice:

My dear Bernard-Henri Lévy, what you have said in the Swiss press is true — I have been overwhelmed by the number of messages of support and sympathy I have received in Winterthur prison, and that I continue to receive here, in my chalet in Gstaad, where I am spending the holidays with my wife and my children.

These messages have come from my neighbors, from people all over Switzerland, and from beyond Switzerland — from across the world. I would like every one of them to know how heartening it is, when one is locked up in a cell, to hear this murmur of human voices and of solidarity in the morning mail. In the darkest moments, each of their notes has been a source of comfort and hope, and they continue to be so in my current situation.

Hollywood’s Favorite Child Rapist Makes Bail

by Big Hollywood

polanski517

In celebucrat homes everywhere there will be more than tofu turkey stuffed with cocaine this Thanksgiving, there will be rejoicing…

A Swiss court granted Roman Polanski bail on Wednesday, accepting $4.5 million to allow him to remain under house arrest at his chalet. The director will stay in prison for up to 10 days while the Swiss government decides whether to appeal.

The Swiss Criminal Court reversed its previous rejection of bail, saying it was confident the large cash guarantee would compel Polanski to remain at his chalet in the Swiss resort of Gstaad under house arrest and monitored by an electronic bracelet.

The good news is that the man who drugged and anally raped a thirteen year old girl is still in jail. Let’s hope the Swiss Justice Ministry does appeal and does prevail….

My Apology to Leftist Hollywood

by John Nolte

polanski517

My apologies, Leftist Hollywood.

When you stepped over causes like childhood diseases, health-care reform and the homeless to spend political capital defending a fugitive child-rapist, I was certain you really were stupid enough to further tarnish an already devastated reputation under the misguided impression that tsk-tsking child sodomy made you look sophisticated, as opposed to wicked and grotesque. Thankfully, I’ve seen the light and am man enough to admit that my right-wing kneejerk got the better of me. How embarrassing to have missed your Harvey Weinstein and Minions Master Plan:

Roman Polanski realises that some of the support he got in his battle against US child sex charges was “counter-productive”, his lawyer said Sunday, adding he was worried about the detained director’s health.

“The filmmaker is very touched by the support he has received,” Herve Temime told AFP after visiting his client on Friday in his cell in Switzerland, where he is being held on a US warrant.

“He also knows that some of it is counter-productive,” he added, without elaborating. (more…)

Human Decency and Hollywood: The Voice of America

by Chris Burgard

I work in Hollywood and many in my industry consider my views to be pretty radical. I blame my father and the values that he instilled in me: Never hit a woman and protect your children.

Over the past few years, throughout this country I have heard the same thing from audiences over and over, “Why doesn’t Hollywood make the kind of movies that we want to see? Why don’t movies represent our values?”

image5355533x

This is an outstanding opportunity for lessons learned. To everyone outside of this community, I implore you to take a long and hard look at the people who are standing up for Roman Polanski. The stars. The studio heads. Many of these people are the powers that be who green-light projects. These are the people that we pitch to. These are the people who decide whether or not our films get distribution. These are the people who decide what product should be available to you and your children. (more…)

Polanski Apologists Don’t Speak for All of Us in Hollywood

by Ed Bernero

Enough.

Anyone who would sign a petition demanding release of a fugitive child rapist is actively hurting a business I love and DOES NOT speak for all of the entertainment industry. America needs to know that by viewing/buying our product, the public is not supporting these views.

Our industry is made up mostly of hard working, decent people who believe in this country and the justice system. I strongly feel that one of the bigger reasons for the decline in film and television is that the public, our customer base, has simply had enough of Hollywood.  And I don’t blame them.

polanski love

I have a question for those supporting Roman Polanski: Is there no line?  Is there no line at which you won’t blindly support someone? He’s an artist? So what? Charles Manson was a decent guitar player.  Hitler could paint. Roman Polanski is a good director. So-the-hell what? This man drugged and anally raped a thirteen-year-old girl. The transcript of her testimony can be found online. Read it.  It should horrify you.

It wasn’t “rape-rape”? What the hell does that even mean, Ms. Goldberg? Are you suggesting that the little girl was at fault for being in the wrong place at the wrong time? For not more forcefully resisting an adult her mother placed her with?  A famous man? (more…)

‘New York Times’: Hollywood Wrong on Polanski

by Big Hollywood

Dear Hollywood,

Wake up call: Your position on the Polanski matter is even too decadent for the New York Times:

“Roman Polanski was arrested on Saturday at the Zurich airport on an American-issued warrant. But to hear the protests from the French, the Poles and other Europeans, you might have thought the filmmaker was seized by some totalitarian regime for speaking truth to power. …

“But hold on a moment. After being indicted in 1977, didn’t Mr. Polanski, now 76, confess to having sex with a 13-year-old girl after plying her with Quaaludes and Champagne? Didn’t he flee the United States when the plea bargaining seemed to fall apart, raising the prospect of prison time? Isn’t there a warrant for his arrest? …

“In Europe, the prevailing mood — at least among those with access to the news media — seemed to be that Mr. Polanski has already “atoned for the sins of his young years,” as Jacek Bromski, the chief of the Polish Filmmakers Association, put it. (more…)

Polanski May Finally Face U.S. Justice

by John Nolte

Nothing mitigates director Roman Polanski’s unspeakable crime. Certainly Polanski has dealt with personal tragedy on a scale few of us can understand, but that’s not a license to drug, rape and sodomize a 13 year-old girl. Nor is perceived misconduct on the part of trial judge, nor is the forgiveness of the victim (who reached an out-of-court settlement with Polanski).

Roman-Polanski-001

And this may come as a surprise to some in Hollywood, but helming a few cinematic masterpieces doesn’t turn someone who anally raped a child into some kind of tragic hero… In all the revisionist history, the simple fact that Polanski plead guilty to “unlawful sex with an underage girl” is seldom mentioned at the top of the special brand of rationalizations extended to our celebrity class.

Well, finally, after 32 years, justice may be done. At the request of the U.S., the Swiss nabbed the 76 year-old fugitive and may extradite: (more…)
