I understand she's having heart trouble now — hope she gets better.

She was too young for the role, but she *is* Scarlett O'Hara, as far as I'm concerned, in regard to both her beauty and the chaos that often has accompanied it, and with her willpower.

I wouldn't trade places with Elizabeth Taylor, BUT…I appreciate many of the movies that she made, National Velvet being one of the best. She's one of the few performers who was able to have a career, beyond that of a child star, as a grown up in a cut throat industry. As this picture shows, her beauty was breathtaking.

Thanks for writing this. Gov. Granholm has been a disaster for all of us, even the mind numbed zombie union-type voters, that live in Michigan. Did you see her on Fox News Sunday with Chris Wallace? Not only are her views, and lack of knowledge an embarassment; she is dangerous and destructive to all who believe in a free market. This woman has never met a payroll in the private sector. She only knows how to confiscate and redistribute wealth she had NO part in creating.

I'd never heard that (I know Natlie Wood was raped by a Hollywood big shot when she was a teen) but like you say that would make sense as far as how she has picked men.
