Again, I politely declined, saying that I had an early morning the next day (had I been unemployed, his arrogance that evening would have been enough to say no regardless, but to a young man, I'm fairly certain Rocco would have a hard time passing for attractive in any town). I never forgot that intercession, but never heard much about Rocco for the next decade or so, except for the occasional Tony award. I guess it really does take all kinds….

Rocco and his wife proceeded to tell me in great detail about their open relationship with threesomes and sometimes "other" opportunities. He specifically asked me if I knew of anything that might be available that night in the hotel for him and his wife. Not being from that area, I politely declined, and asked if I could go get them some additional drinks. When I returned, he directly asked if I would be interested for the evening. (cont.)

Maybe 15 years ago I was doing promotions work for a new business opening down south. Landesman was a friend of several big investors, and actually made a small investment himself. The night before the opening day, there was a big party at an upscale downtown hotel. Rocco was there with his wife (not sure if currently married), and I was instructed at one point to go over to his table and make sure everything was going well. (cont.)
