Dude. Sarah Palin is a Republican. Barack Obama is a Democrat. That's all that matters to that Penn. Obama could come out for pardoning Bin Laden and it wouldn't matter to this guy.

Obama used to be in favor of gay marriage when he was younger – there is an article about it online. He will probably end up being in favor of it again, OP, so don't assume he is really against it.
ALL of Obama´s statements come wth an expiry date. Besides, he doesn´t need to spend political capital on promoting gay marriage when he can appoint judges who will make it happen, or it will happen anyway.

Obama came out against Prop 8 in spite of his previously announced opposition to gay marriage.
Hollywood knows that Obama said he was against gay marriage just to get elected. In1996 an article in a Windy City Times spelled it out pretty clearly:
"During his run for Illinois state Senate in 1996, Barack Obama stated his unequivocal support for gay marriage, according to an exclusive story in the Jan. 14, 2009 Windy City Times newspaper. President-elect Obama's answer to a 1996 Outlines newspaper question on marriage was: 'I favor legalizing same-sex marriages, and would fight efforts to prohibit such marriages.'

I'm actually pretty sure that Obama was lying in 1996 to get elected in Chicago. Keep in mind that most African-Americans voted for Proposition 8. Many of them on strictly religious grounds. Obama attended a black church for decades. Besides, his being for or against gay marriage wouldn't have mattered this year. It was all economy, economy, blind change. Considering Biden stressed several times during the debate that they are both opposed to gay marriage, it'd be one heck of a turn-around.
Obama stated that he is not only against gay marriage,but is against it for religious reasons.

As a Christian — he is a member of the United Church of Christ — Mr. Obama believes that marriage is a sacred union, a blessing from God, and one that is intended for a man and a woman exclusively, according to these supporters and Obama campaign advisers.
Now this is what Obama says.It is impossible to know what he believes because it depends on what helps him politically at the time.
But watching liberals go after Christians and Republicans but give Blacks,Latinos,Muslims,Obama,Hillary,and Biden a pass on being against gay marriage is just another example of the selective outrage and hypocrisy of the so called "smart ones".
