Well, it had sex, hot rods and fast driving - what's not to like? I enjoyed it but thought the ending could have been better.

Racing movies? Al Gore doesn't want cars that can race, Barry doesn't want Detroit to make them, and hardly anyone can afford them anyway. Plus there are too many conservative fans of NASCAR and Indy, under the new "Automotive Fairness Doctrine" networks wanting to show those races must also present the Wind And Solar Saving Our Planet races (WASSOP). That should kill off network enthusiasm pretty quick.

Guess they better hurry up and make a bunch, so we can reminisce about our country's "glory days of racing" later on.

A large segment of the users of the mobile answering service I work for are teenagers ... if the misspellings, abbreviations and slang are indicative. (That and the fact that the largest percentage of questions not related to sex are for cheat codes for xBox, PS2, etc games.) The vast, overwhelming majority of requests for movie show times are for 'Fast & Furious'. Every now and then someone inquires about 'The Haunting in Connecticut' or 'I Love Yo, Man', but the requests for 'F&F' show times are strikingly disproportionate.
