If the US wants to win in Afghanistan, they have to stop air raiding villages and killing civilians. It is an indisputable fact that NATO and its allies are now killing more civilians in Afghanistan than the insurgents are. President Obama was right. Slaughtering Afghans at innocent wedding parties is unacceptable.

I love all of this “Obama was taken out of context” crap!

He meant what he said, he meant that our military was air-raiding villagers in the middle of the night..PERIOD and he meant every word given his background (education, mentors, environment, mother – all whacked out leftist), his ignorance (more conventional troops in Afghanistan don’t automatically = success, but they do give the Taliban a lot of targets and they do ironically, create a slush fund for spending a lot more $$$$, something liberals always rails against, that is military spending, but the O-man looks like he’s gonna ramp up dramatically), special forces are much more effective in Afghanistan, but you can’t produce them overnight, do you actually think that lefty Obama would create more SF? Never, everything he’s against, that is, manly potentially mean stuff, he’s basically as limp as his politics and fellow weak-kneed liberals, by the way, are there any straight male liberals/demcrats? Seems to me they’re all women with issues (i.e. ugly), gay/tranny/freaks, emo-men/boy metro types and various and sundry freaks, but I digress

It’s odd, maybe even ironic, that you would choose a deliberately out of context quote from Fox News to make your case against Hollywood feeding the public “wasteful, depressing, and horribly fabricated stories.” Funny enough, Obama had said this in the context of not having enough troops on the ground so that we could do MORE than just air-raids.

Unfortunately, the good doesn’t outweigh the bad. Bad news always sells, and when bad is as bad as Abu Ghraib, etc, it will outweigh the story of giving candy to kids anyday. The fact that bad news sells, has nothing to do with hollywood, and everything to do with how we, as a society, consume news.

I thank you for your service and many of us, as you can see, do our best to honor that service in every way we possibly can. These Leftist cupcakes who show up here KNOW in their hearts that American soldiers and Marines and airmen wowed the world with the Victory in Iraq – they had all but stuck a fork in you guys and you showed em what American troops are made of.
