Terrorists Bring the WTC Down; Federal Government Keeps It Down
by Steven CrowderI know the 9/11 imagery is always hard to take in. I still get a lump in my throat when I see it, but that could just be my meningitis. I do think it’s necessary however, to show the tragic imagery so that people don’t forget how fired up they were in the following months. It’s time to get fired up again. It’s time to honor the deceased by proactively fighting against government waste and forcing their hand into action. There’s no excuse for Ground Zero to look the way it does today… Unless Mothra stopped by. He ruins everything.
PS: No construction workers were actually verbally abused during the making of this video… Though one was lightly fondled.

Sorry Steven, I think you're right-on to go after government bureaucracy, and unions for that matter, but you seem to go out of your way to belittle construction workers. These are the same people that built the Larry Silverstein Tower 7.

It has been reported 90 Billion bucks of wealth left New Jersey due to taxes etc. recently.
Lets assume the same amount left New York city, tho 90 Billion is probably chump
change to the actual amount that moved to friendlier climes from the now slightly smaller Big Apple.
Somewhere in there is a reason for actually begining construction on a replacement structure or
structures for the vacant Trade Center grounds,
Would construction Jobs be….well constructive? Would construction costs effect the local
economy? Would the rents, furnishings, taxes for the city be beneficial? Would it give a jolt
to the local Real Estate industry. Yeah, all these things and more would be a help to a
depressed city economy. Sufficent reasons to get started as Crowder points out?

I am an avid fan of your work and have seen all of your videos.
But, truth must come before fandom and you have proven yourself very wrong on a most important subject.
Mothra was a "she". She was FEMALE! And, with the exception of really her premier film (and DESTROY ALL MONSTERS and FINAL WAR*), she was a force for good. She often protected the humans from the bad monsters such as Godzilla** and King Ghidora. Just wanted you to know.
*In DESTROY ALL MONSTERS and FINAL WARS they were being mind-controlled (or created) by cheesy aliens bent on conquering the earth.

The only thing I can think to say is that I'm embarrassed by our goverment…………Steven is right. There should be a "Concrete Middle Finger" to the world standing there. Instead, Ramsey El Kaboom is sitting in his goat pen with his wife (yes she's a goat) laughing his ass off at the fact that we can't even put up an f***ing skyscraper anymore.
I'll admit to my ignorance and say that I had not been paying attention to what was happening at "Ground Zero". I had no idea how screwed up it was.
Why aren't New Yorkers outraged at this though? What the hell was GW doing (I expected more)? Why isn't the sh**tstain in the White House now doing something? Too many questions with no answer's. You could have just about built 3 "Sears Towers" in the same amount of time…………….

The environmentalists are probably arguing with the diversity proponents and the unions over who gets to decide how to spend all that taxpayer money. As soon as they figure that out, they can get to work on forming a committee to develop a plan to map out the design project. After that, they can get to work on a charter that will determine the method they will use to decide on how the construction bids will be processed and scored. Then there will be the task force on how to screw up traffic most effectively. As well as the team to determine the new headquarters for the communications secretariat. Not to mention the working group formed to write the Draft SOPs on conflict resolution. I mean, you just can't…put a building in 13 months.
Actually, she wasn't one of the monsters who got mind-controlled in "Final Wars". Angilas/Anguirus sure was, though.

The caricature was of government union members. As a Chicago resident, I can guarantee you that it was dead-on accurate. The only thing I'd change is the guy going to take a nap after moving one set of grates (then flipping off the camera).
Yup. She came in at the last second to help Godzilla fight Gigan and Monster X. She (and Godzilla) couldn't be mind-controlled because they were made of something other than the mutant gene (so I guess it was a pro-nuclear radiation movie).

How many different Unions are milking this job? How much in Union dues is being kicked back to the Democrat Party? How many millions of dollars of building materials are being stolen and resold on the black market by the mafia? It's the Boston Big Dig brought to NYC. And if it ever gets completed, don't be surprised if it collapses a year later due to shoddy materials and construction.
It makes me sick what is happening down there. Everytime I pass the area I am galled that nothing has been done. Especially when you have the Arab street hucksters selling there 9/11 chatchkies. Besides the government, you have to point to the unions. Crowder rendition of a construction worker was spot on, except that moving the two panes of glass would have took 6 guys and a supervisor, and then a delegation of union reps to decide who gets the bribe to subcontract the return of the panes to their original spot. Once the subcontractor is chosen, twenty guys and two supervisors would have to take 12 hours (need the OT doncha know), with mandatory breaks, to get the panes where they were needed, but one of the panes broke on the way.
We have a smaller version of the example of Democrat government inaction here in Louisville KY.
For 15 years they have been talking about putting another bridge across the Ohio River as the current bridge is not meeting the traffic requirements since it is over 50 years old. 12 years ago Mitch McConnell managed to secure federal funding for the project and for the next 10 years the city of Louisville paid over a million dollars a year on planers, developers and engineers to study and evaluate where to put the bridge and how to build it. All the while they funneled tax payers money to political cronies who did nothing but sit on comitties and draw a monthly paycheck. When the 10 year mark hit the funds by federal guidlines reverted back to the federal governemt and now we not only don't have a new bridge but all the money to pay for it is gone.

The Port Authority pushed the cleanup of the twin towers to be done quickly. What was the point? Now the site has been vacant for years while politicians fight over what to do and in the background a lot of those cleanup workers have succumbed to sickness they contracted during the NASCAR paced clean up. They have no excuse for this debacle.

I live in NY and right after 9/11, I got a call from a cousin who wanted to see the WTC site. I said "No hurry, this is New York and five years from now it will still be a hole in the ground!" Boy, was I an optimist.
Who's to blame why this is taking so long? There's plenty to go around but I would put the most on George Pataki. Most people here wanted the towers put back up the way they were before but higher. He pretty much rammed through the Daniel Liebeskind master plan that everyone whose name was not Pataki hated. Pataki decided that the tower footprints should be reserved for a Disneyland of Death memorial which uses up a good chunk of the site and complicates trying to squeeze everything else into the remaining area. Add to that the performing arts center that nobody wanted and the vaunted transit hub that's now not needed. BTW, George Pataki is also the man who single-handedly destroyed the Republican Party is New York State.
Add to that, the typical incompetence of the PA, MTA, and LMDC patronage mills, and I don't see why anyone should be surprised.

It's just too pathetic a situation not to at least get some laughs from. The top five Mothra expert-nerds could easily have done a better job governing the process of constructing new buildings than our government servants in NY and DC have done. Hell, Blue Oyster Cult could have done a better job.

For the most part Godzilla was good, his destruction was usually caused accidently by his unusually large feet and bad breath, both of which caused him great emotional problems as a young monster when his peers made fun of his differences. He did get a bit aggressive at times when Japanese tanks made by Toyota either ran into his large feet due to their accelerators getting stuck under floor mats or when they fired at him due to sticky firing triggers, but that is to be expected. ;o)
FNC needs to give Crowder his own show. It'd be bigger than O'Reilly.
