Guantanamo Bay: Up Close and Personal
by Steven CrowderWith all of the chaos going on these last couple of weeks, I felt this to be a necessary piece. The troops aren’t allowed to vindicate themselves, so somebody has to speak up for them. Let me give you a hint; It won’t be Pelosi. These people are doing a WORLD-CLASS job at keeping us safe and GITMO is a big part of that. Of course, there was a lot of footage that I wasn’t allowed to include in the video, but I hope the message still speaks volumes. God bless the troops and the work they do for us!
Note: No Iguana’s were actually shown on camera without their expressed written consent.

Thank you for this report. While I had already "assumed" everything you noted, I am glad you took the time to spell it out.
God bless America and our troops.
Keep GITMO OPEN!
Lots of liberals headed there in 2013.

LoL. Gung-Ho Brother Gung-Ho!
Thanks Steven great stuff, I appreciate the tour and I know the troops appreciated your's. If anyone here hasn't joined PJTV yet now is the best time. Hey you touring in Michigan anytime soon?
Crowder you're the best
I wish there was some sort of daily reminder for all americans of just how great the men and women in our military really are. As far as I am concerned, they are the cream of the crop.
Thanks for a reminder today.
Thank you for posting this video and interviews with our troups! I will be posting this to Myspace page also so people can view and decide the opposite of main stream media and Gov't says about Getmo bay prison! There are two sides to a story!
The Democrats and the manic Left made a conscious tactical decision to elevate the Gitmo "atrocities" into an international scandal for the express purpose of cutting the moral high ground out from under the Bush administration. The actual nature of the interrogations meant less to Olberman, Friedman, Maher, Pelosi et. al. than the fact that it was the perfect pretext for rallying "progressive" opinion to their side without actually and flatly coming out in favor of the enemy. (We know that they are but that's another story) As a political strategy it was brilliant . The problem is that it doesn't have a second act. Having generated world sympathy for the Gitmo detainees we are still left with the fact that these people are, well, terrorists. As we have seen Nancy Pelosi's district (surely one of the most "progressive" in the U.S.) doesn't want them nor does anyone else. They can't be released because even the MSM would have to take notice of a murderous attack spearheaded by some ex-Gitmo detainee. In a way Obama has no choice but to risk civil trials for these people in American courts because he has closed out all of his other options.

Great video! Thanks to all our military, with the exception of the following:
The one who calls himself "Commander In Chief."
Those who value political correctness more than the lives of our troops and citizens.
I have a real soft spot for the those poor unfortunate persecuted Muslims down in Cooba. I think we should release them, and I have 2 places that are perfect. One is in a C-130 at a couple thousand feet in the air with the rear cargo door open and over their area of choice, or just release them into the atmosphere and let the spinning of the globe pick a locale at random for them. This no less than what they deserve, after all, it's only our very way of life they hate.
Instead of a C-130, how about using a trebuchet? It's reusable, doesn't require fuel, and thus wont' burden the taxpayer any more than he already is. Also, it's more localized, so if anyone wants to spectate, they know where to go. With a C-130, you'd have to arrange flyovers, and we don't need to pester the FAA. They're busy enough making sure pilots aren't checking their schedules on their laptops in the cockpit. Furthermore, you could charge admission to see the trebuchet in action. I'm sure there are a lot of people interested in medieval siege machinery, and they'd be fascinated by its action. Charge $1 a head, of $5 to park your car, and start paying off the deficit.
Thank You – Great Info.
I am all the more sickened by our POTUS and his minions. Can we survive 3+ more years of this?
I agree! I say Sheriff Joe and pink jumpsuits. Ditto on the shirt.
In a just world Steven, this clip would receive a nomination for best documentary at the Academy Awards.
Stephen,
Thanks! What a great job presenting the information, in your face but with humor, I like it!
Troops and families, at Gitmo and around the globe, many many thanks!!!!!
Howdy,
Many thanks to Steven Crowder for this indispensable story about the true Gitmo.
If you want to help a soldier's morale, go to Soldier's Angels and adopt a soldier to write to. Here's the website. http://soldiersangels.org/index.php?page=adopt-a-...
I'm writing to my 4th soldier. I feel so proud to be able to do this…give back a little to these brave men and women who are keeping us safe and sound…the cream of crop of our country. Ignore what that bowing man has to say about our Armed Services. He wouldn't know a hero if he met one…and he's met plenty.

EXCELLENT job, Steven! Thank you for going to Gitmo and getting the REAL story.
I don't know if you could build a trebuchet big enough to launch them far enough. Unless it is a trebuchet on the deck of an aircraft carrier and you were pitching them into the ocean, that I could get behind.
I was thinking jagged rocks as a landing zone, personally. I don't know the range for the medieval versions, but I imagine it was several hundred yards. I'm sure with modern technologies–alloys, polymers, and such–we could increase the range substantially. It doesn't really matter how far they go, ultimately. More often than not, it'll be a one-way trip.
Great video Steven! Maybe an American (mainland) prison would be good, and a patriotic homicidal maniac can take care of them once and for all!
All the stuff you listed on the list of forbidden interrogation methods is what I called Basic Training.
Good piece though, and you are right, those 5 headed to New York are going to go through quite a culture shock when they get inside a real American prison. Bringing them here though is the biggest freakin mistake possible.
Whether he wanted to not, our non-Decider in Chief has sent a message to our armed forces not to take anymore prisoners. If you were fighting in Afghanistan would you want to take anybody prisoner who could then be transported stateside and possibly pose a threat to the very people you are trying to protect?
Outstanding Job Steve!

Thanks Steve for a great objective portrayal of Gitmo and our service men & women stationed there. It's never ceased to amaze me what kind of garbage they have to take not only from the detainees but our own commander in chief – who has never set foot on the place to see what it is for himself. What a tool he is.
The US Army isn't keeping us safe. The US Army is on a make-work project that creates hatred. You can pull up some cherry picked examples of "Look, Corporal Evans helped out native Adbul" but for every Adbul there are three (or ten) fathers, uncles, aunts or mothers who have been given the present of a US bomb.

idiot. one of your fans would call a homicidal maniac "patriotic". i think that speaks volumes to the kind of nutjobs that think your "work" resembles anything remotely close to good journalism, or even any kind of journalism.
The so-called President of this United States is a Communist/Marxist and an idiot. Also, he might even be a muslem. Who knows???? It's a sad day when our troops are made out to be some type of low-life — God bless them and God bless America and let's hope Obama can be impeached or put in jail for what he's doing to our wonderful country.
