But in a free society, especially one professing equality, there should always be the possibility of change. Change doesn't need to be always accepted, in fact laws forcing change should be opposed, but people should be free to choose their own cultural practices and values as long as it doesn't directly harm others. If the number of people who voluntarily choose different cultures is so much that the whole nation is effected on a non-legislative basis, that's what the people want.
