Undercover with Liberals! (RIP Crowder)
by Steven CrowderWe’ve heard the term “Astroturf” thrown around so flippantly lately, I felt somebody needed to put it to the test. Why should Liberals be exempt from having the “special interests” card thrown at them? My hunch tells me that they appease those folks more than anybody. Well, strap on the hidden camera… It’s time to find out!
By the way, have any of you ever actually tried to think/act like a Liberal? I tell you, it’s exausting. I don’t know how Daniel Day Lewis does it.

OMG
This is stupendous!
The only thing you could have done better Steve is at the end of the interview asked if you could have gotten George Soros's autograph!
"By the way, have any of you ever actually tried to think/act like a Liberal?"
No, it's just not in my nature to act arrogant or elitist and try to tell people how to live their lives. I can't push things at people that they don't want, like BIG government etc.
Steven, Another excellent production! Can't wait to see you on Hannity again, has he booked you yet? Keep us posted. Thank you for all that you are doing.
So Steven, did you get a date? Take her out for a little Wheat Grass smoothy. Yummy, Yummy.
Ick, that sounds horrendous!
Jeez, if California wasn't a rotting cesspool I would gladly take their money and do the worst possible job I could. Getting paid to take down "The Man" from the inside! I imagine I would be found to be a fraud after they noticed I groom myself and don't over power them with the "Musk of self-importance". Pity….
Steven always does a good job but this was outstanding. I am still laughing my a$$ off. This is the way to take these iditots down.
Fabulous! Just think, we first saw Zo and Steven last yr, and then they were highlighted here the first of the yr when Big Hollywood came about. They have come a long way! Better and better.
Perhaps a relic from Saint Goros of the Ville of Nash: the Patron Saint of Climate Change Prevention. I've been told that his sacred text on Truth will ward away the rising tides and promise the resurrection of Polar Bears.
Great video Steven, once again pointing out liberal hypocrisy, great fun! You’ll probably need to burn those cloths.
Dude you are Hi-larious. Keep up the great work.
Oh my GOD that was funny! STILL chuckling. And also very informative and well done. Crowder scrub – I watched it twice. Don't tell anyone.
– Sincerely,
Dirty Old Lady
I cannot find the outtakes on PJTV. Does anyone have a link or tell me where on the site they are?
I laughed! I cried! I give it "two thumbs up"!
An alleged "libertarian" friend of mine sent me a youtube video by two young college students called "Privatize the Fire Department." The two victims of the public school system think they are scoring points against conservatives who oppose the socialization of the health care system by claiming that local fire departments represent socialism. The two boys try to immitate conservatives and use the conservative argument against socialized health care to argue against "socialized" fire departments. I bring this up to contrast their complete ignorance concerning the federalist system envisioned by the Founding Fathers and socialism under an overpowerful centralized government with Steven's well informed and educated views. If you want to see what the left is putting out to counter us check out the video. It is hillariously pathetic.
Listening to that woman speak was like listening to Nancy Pelosi. They seem to be so sure of themselves, especially when the most absurd ideas are coming from their lips. I can't believe people take them seriously. But, that is the one thing I have noticed almost universally with my liberal friends and family, they all seem to have completely surrendered their ability to think for themselves anymore. They just swallow whatever crap their party is spoon-feeding them.
Is that what the kids are calling "it" these days?
Awesome! I want to have your child, Steven. Oh, wait, I can't do that, I'm male. I'll have my wife do it for me.
Excellent………. Progressives are not only slimey but as we are seeing lately…..LIARS……and don't forgot…. THUGS…
This is such an awesome video and you should get a medal of honor for going undercover! I cannot believe that you were offered the position! (Especially after that Detroit joke which was hilarious!) Nancy Pelosi can stick the liberal "grassroots" movement you know where…tell me again why she was put into power? She has got to be the most uninformed and idiotic female politician I have *ever* seen.
My only complaint is that it needs subtitles, but then I'm 40% deaf in my left ear and have tinnitus.
Lovely work as always, Steven. However, isn't "dirty hippie" a tautology?
$400,000,000 over 25 years is $16,000,000 a year, correct. Steve, you state that is $5,000,000 more than Pharma gave in one year, 2008. So, Pharma gave out $395,000,000 to politicians in one year. And the auto industry gave roughly $40,000,000 a year. Yes, I know, quit worrying about the details, it gets in the way of you making your point. So, you have to be a corporation and make extreme profits to have the right to give to the charity(or politician) of your choice. I don't think I saw that amendment, but I know Cheney did have the Constitution re-written several times in the past decade.
You are correct when you say this woman in the video is a hypocrite, but so are you.
Personally, I would have preferred they lower their drug prices rather than give that money to politicians.
truthBtold must be from Frisco.

You forgot the link, unless that was the joke?
+1 for saying the secret word
Tautology

Here is the clip to "Privatize the Fire Department." Enjoy alleged leftist satire.
Saint Goros does indeed keep the Sacred text of Truth, the great inconvenience but he is not even worthy to wash the feet of the one to come, the Great Obamassiah who will not only keep the Earth Cool with his even demeaner but will in fact use the Great Inconvenience to tax the Economy thereby giving Green jobs from the Turnip of Industry. All hail the great Obamassiah!
Steve, I like this but you are wrong on what the founders intended. There are only two issues in the Constitution that required more than a simple majority vote, Treaties, and removal from office after impeachment. The filibuster is a rule and is unconstitutional because it means everything is subject to more than just a simple majority vote.
Steve, you rock!
George Soros scourge of the earth who makes his money bankrupting small nations for fun and profit, persona non grata in Russia, Israel, France, Indonesia, and Micronensia. Here in America bankrolling the Democrat Party until America collapses and he'll walk off with the profits.
A Christian nation to stupid to stop one smart ass jew, shameful.
So glad he did a vid on PIRGs. What a racket they have going.
Too Funny!! Sadly it is also TOO REAL AND TOO COMMON!!
Wow! What complete morons those guys are. They exemplify one of the problems with liberals – they can't distinguish between federal, state, and local government. To them, all government is the same and it's all good. Last I checked, there is no federal fire department. ( And can you imagine how awful that would be?) Fire departments are a local issue, so in a way, they already have been privatized.
The thing you should really find hilarious is the example of the free market capital enterprise the use is Viacom the cable company. Last I checked cable companies where a monopoly enforced by government law. Which is why going to trun in your cable box and getting them to stop billing you is almost as much fun as going to the DMV.
Almost!
Geez I didn't even know what a PIRG was…….
How many of these Blackshirted Musolini type operations does the democrat party have anyways.
My God!
Crowder'z hoTT !!
I am sure they thought they were being clever. Unfortunately the uneducated are easily persuaded by this type of message, done quite frequently by Jon Stewart, and they are unable to see through the lies and deliberate misdirections.
As a confession, I worked for a PIRG group as a summer job in college before I had a good grasp of the political lay of the land. To be honest, I learned quite a bit from it and their techniques are worth learning. It was also eye opening to see the campaign for a Democrat being run out of the office upstairs with pretty much the same staff. Since I was once a "community organizer", I guess I'm qualified to be President.
There's the USPIRG, 47 state PIRGS and the DCPIRG.
http://www.uspirg.org/about-us/the-state-pirgs
The one thing you left off about PIRG groups is the college student fee scam. Here in New Jersey (and I've heard in other states, like Massachusetts), the PIRG groups managed to get donations added to the state university tuition bills in such a way that students (and their parents) would pay the PIRG "donation" by default and would have to ask for a refund to get their few dollars back (which most people didn't).
Well, when you don't have a real job, you have to kill your day somehow…
Your lucky Crowder…as soon as they see this video they are going to fire you……
all that delousing powder is going right down the drain and choke a whale somewhere……
Shame on you !!!!!!
Most excellent.
This is 3 videos in a row that are complete home runs. It's so cathartic to watch someone actually give you unfiltered access to what's going on (it's a shame that the "news programs" don't do it anymore.

Just heard that Toyota is moving it's pickup assembly plant from California to Texas. There goes another 4000 jobs! It would seem there are only two types of people left in CA. The Marie Antoinettes telling everyone to eat cake when the bread is gone or the Neros who are fiddling while the economy burns. Liberalism in action.
Awesome and eye opening stuff. keep fighting the good fight.
Its called listening
He said Ok 20 million is 5 more than Big Pharma gave in 2008 or 15 million. He said that was rougly equal to what the auto companies gave in 11 cycles. 20 /11 or probably aroun 1.8 million.
Since the "Tea Party efforts by and large are not funded as illustrated by his zero dollar salary quote. His point is proven despite his earlier math error.
It amazes me the nit pick sophistry you liberals engage in. As for you have to be a big corporation to make extrem profits.. Yes thanks to the barriers to entry by liberal laws such as CAFE standards, FDA, OSHA etc all of which makes oligarchies more stable since the little guy can't get enough capital together to stay in business. It's called a Free Market.
When is the Steven Crowder movie coming out? That's all I want to know! ( I think you're amassing enough footage to put one together…I hope that's your plan.)
My grandma told me once that she saw a bear walk right through her small Upper Peninsula town here in Michigan, but damn we've got them in Detroit now!
Another excellent video Steven.
AWESOME! I love the bit about Detroit. ROFL
"Just heard that Toyota is moving it's pickup assembly plant from California to Texas"
They are not the only ones, for the last few years, Californians and others have been flooding Texas. I will tell you that in certain areas, we don't like it a damn bit. There is a Public Relations motto that may become true before too long. You have heard it- "Texas is a whole other country".
Well, as the law is now, Texas (or any other state) can't just close their borders to keep out the unwanted.
But if Texas becomes a "country" We can blockade our borders and limit who and what we want to come in.
Our southern border with Mexico is becoming more secure with each passing day.
Soon with or without Federal help we will have it locked down as much as possible. Then we will intensify our efforts to rid our state of illegals.

I hope you were able to wash the hippie out. Its best to go ahead and burn the clothes and be sure you floss. If you have a hippie infestation, remember this, "Hippies can't stand death metal."
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Die_Hippie,_Die
Perchance I worthy to wash the feet of his manservant, Sir Robert of house of Gibbs, but alas, I am with carbon. The sacred Texts of Inconvenience forsooth foretold that the great Obamassiah shall not be corrupted by the vile carbon of this realm.
Thus, I must make a pilgrimage to see Saint Goros perchance his holiness might preform a Carbon Exorcism to rid me of pollution. QUICKLY, BRING ME MY FAIR TRADE COFFEE BEANS ROSARY FROM THE TEMPLE OF STARS AND BUCKS!
I had a flashback to Meryl Streep being scrubbed down in "Silkwood". But I really liked your interpretation much better. Thanks for the "light-hearted" but cleansing moment. Wish we could scrub these misguided individuals brains of the liberal stews they are bathing in.
Genius.
When I attended UCLA as an undergrad a few years back, volunteers of CALPIRG would roam the campus, commandeer classroom time away from professors for about 5 minutes (who were all too ready to hand over the mike), and ask students to fill out a form so that a donation to Calpirg in the amount of $30 – give or take – could be added to each student's tuition bill — and thus, deducted automatically when the student's parents, trust fund or financial aid officers paid each quarter's tuition bill. They said the money was a donation to help the homeless, to fight poverty and advocate in the interest of consumers. It sounded really good, and all the 18-years old in class – who had NO CLUE they were a rich PAC aligned solely with left-wing, Democratic special interests often filled out the form. It was a disgrace and a ruse. I'm so glad the esteemed, public institution of UCLA was complicit in letting CALPIRG be the officially sponsored and funded "non-profit-of-choice" of the university.
Usually soap does the trick pretty good. Soap makes the Earth goddess cry, or some ^&*( like that.
Have I ever tried to think like a liberal? Yes, back when I was one. When the cognitive dissonance got to me, I just stopped thinking about politics altogether so I could go back to my rosy world where we could have world peace if everyone just shared and played nicely.
But then I grew up, did some research on what conservatives actually believe instead of what I'd been told all my life that they believe, and realized it was time for me to admit that I was a conservative too, even though I knew that meant I'd lose a lot of my friends who can't handle that kind of admission.
As a native Texan myself, I dont mind if the Yankees come (yes that includes Californians…as far as Texans are concerned ANYONE not of Texas is a Yankee by virtue of the fact that Texas WAS a country for 10 yrs) – what I mind is when those Yankees come in and say "lets change it to be like it was back home" – then they become Damn Yankees. And when those Damn Yankees want to bring in the same failed socialistic policies that ruined their home, they become ***damn Yankees.
Ive traveled through enough of the US to love seeing how each state is different. I wouldnt want any other state to become like Texas because then Texas wouldnt be special anymore. But I love America. I love that we can all have our different states and still call ourselves American.
The group is called HAARM.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IhpUG4apgrE
They do the same thing at UCLA. I was a student there a few years back – with 35,000 students or more, they make a killing.
I just went through this with a liberal public policy pusher masquerading as an ad agency. Yeah. Got the boot. Boy, do I feel better.
Add me to the list of those requesting subtitles: I was blown up a while ago in Uncle's service and now, if I can't see the lips moving, recordings are a crapshoot. Judging from what others are saying she must have been a precious libtard, but I didn't understand any of the noise.
Finally, someone else who still says "hold onto your butts."
Sorry, I'm just so stuck on this.
If you'd actually pay attention to the video, you'll see that he's correct whereas you're not.
Go back to math class, then kindly get stuffed.
Yes, all must surrender their wives to the Crowder.
I crashed a DNC rally in St. Paul recently and pretended I was a lib for as long as I could. I listened to the uber-liberal Reps of Mpls & St. Paul and was sickened by it. The healthcare rally had zero information. All platitudes. Plus, don't listen the right wing extremists with their disinformation. Hardly any handmade signs. All waving around the signs they were handed out. Mark Levin is right most of these people are mindless drones. Healthcare for all!! Don't know/care how it's paid for!!! Somebody else will pay for it!! Disgusting.
Now if there were only a way to sever California from the mainland and then strand all the stinky liberals on it, I'd be happy.
LOL. Brilliant. Its great to see someone showing that "conservative" doesn't have to mean being a stuffy suit and tie. Being conservative/libertarian and trying to defend freedom in the face of impending forced socialist conformity is the new radical. If only we can convey that message to the next generation before its too late. Keep hitting them in the hypocrisy Crowder.
They pretty much don't like any kind of metal, I've discovered. I happen to love heavy metal and it just makes me smile to know that I'm offending them when I drive by with some Priest or Anthrax blasting from my CD player. I'm so obnoxious.
Thank you for your service.
Thank you Steven, for continuing to expose these liberal retards for the vermin that they are. What really struck me about that stupid woman in that video was when she said that people should not be allowed to vote on issues like Prop 8. Such monumental arrogance from that bitch, thinking that "people" like her get to decide what laws the rest of us should have. Now if ever there were a clear cut case of someone being un-american, it is her and if it were up to me, I would drum her and her fellow parasites out of this country, tarred and feathered and with a good swift kick in the ass. Idiots like her have been literally destroying my country for over forty years now, and it is time to put a stop to them.
Beat me to it.
I was a bit taken aback at the assessment of a filibuster being moral and a straight majority through reconciliation being somehow immoral.
I have first hand experience with insane "Miscellaneous Fees" from a university, but I'd never heard of money being funneled to PIRGs. This is something to look into, and a MAJOR story for any journalist worth their salt.
but it keeps one regular.
indeed! Friday's here! Time for some Hot Monkey Smoothy!
Well done Steven! There is a HUGE reward for you in heaven my friend, for having the guts to go after and expose the audacious shenanigans and sheer hypocrisies of the ultra liberal left movement and the liberal "bent" i.e. "warped" mindset they seem to hold so dear (which from what I understand is a verifiable psychiatric disorder, according to many well respected scholars and theologians).
Grassroots?? We'll show them GRASSROOTS right!! When multitudes of American citizens from every walk of life, and from every major political party, go to the polls next year and finally vote a boatload of these turkey's out of office for good! How's that for "grassroots" Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid!
The "writing is on the wall" for Nancy, Harry, and Barack in my opinion. We'll have to, unfortunately, wait two additional years before having the privilege of kicking Barack Hussein Obama out of office but that just means we have two additional years to "savor" the eventual outcome and celebration that ultimately awaits us (and the World) (and the Angels in heaven too for that matter, in my humble opinion
) on "D-Day" Nov. 6, 2012!
I, for one, can hardly wait for that day to get here too by the way. >> Only 1,166 days to go, thank God! And much less time to go before Nancy and Harry, etc., hopefully get the boot too, on November 2, 2010.
Edmund Burke said it well when he stated: "All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men (and women) to do nothing." Get out and vote on election day America! Register to vote if you haven't already registered! Every vote counts and your vote "does" matter! If you think your vote somehow doesn't matter just think back to the Bush vs. Gore election in 2000 if you have any doubts. Make no mistake, it "does" matter folks. And your vote(s) may be the very one(s) that tip the scale one way or the other, either in Victory or defeat.
FWIW, if Barack Obama and the Democrats do every conceivable (and possibly illegal) thing under the sun to try and win elections so Democrats stay in power, is it any wonder to anybody why they would pay employees of a non-profit organization a full salary (with benefits) to achieve those ends? It should surprise nobody. And a sleeping Giant has finally awoken and risen up across this great Nation of ours and they are starting to see, firsthand, how devious and underhanded this Obama administration really is.. And what their goals really are.. And in my opinion it is to try and change the very foundational truths this Nation was founded upon and the fundamental principles and beliefs our Founding Fathers and the framers of the Constitution, and more importantly, the entire population along with its citizens at that time, fought and died for, so that those original principles and beliefs would remain vital and intact forever.
Barack Obama is trying to bring change to America alright. But in NO way is the change he brings something we can indeed believe in, or adhere to, if you ask me. "Chains" we can believe in is more like it. Don't let them get away with it America! United we shall Stand! Stand up for truth! Stand up for justice! Stand up for liberty! Stand up for the Constitution and the principles contained therein! And while we're at it stand up for FREEDOM!! – upon which this Country of ours was originally founded upon and ultimately to remain fully rooted and grounded in forever!
And in the end we shall indeed "overcome" if we continue to stand united together for truth, justice, liberty, freedom, and the American way. NOT the Russia, Venezuela, Cuba, Saudi Arabia, and the like, that this Obama administration and his cronies in Washington D.C. seem to want to take this Country down the path towards i.e. = Socialism, Marxism, Communism, or Totalitarianism, etc. The TRUTH shall set you free! Not the LIES and DEVIOUS behavior that we are seeing this Administration demonstrate and try to perpetrate onto the American people! Don't fall for it! >> A Wolf in sheep's clothing sure looks like an innocent lamb from a distance, before you really know what you're up against. But when the Wolf starts to come closer and suddenly "reveals" himself, then reality sinks in (hopefully) and you see beneath the "exterior", and you finally realize that the Wolf was a Wolf all along, and not at all the sheep or lamb he pretended to be on the.. ahem… campaign trail.
Oops! Sorry for getting a little sidetracked. Again.., great job Steven!
nowadays, and for some time now, most journalists are slugs who would dry up when exposed to salt.
They're getting everywhere in our state now. It certainly bears investigation.
I HAVE THE SOLUTION!!!! It comes from my best seller Rules for Radicals (no make that Rules for The Thinkers) Overwhelm the system, don't protest or confront them, sign up for their jobs, take the jobs, hand out libertarian or anti Obama info along with the crap they give you. Get paid to attend the Town Hall meetings with those nice red shirts and since you will be on the approved list to ask questions, change the question at the last moment and ask an thoughtful, challenging question and demand an answer. Put on a button saying I joined (insert leftwing group name) and all i got was $15 bucks an hour and this stupid pre printed sign. 100,000 Republicans, Libertarians, Freepers and Ayn Rand fans could easily cost 3 to 5 million dollars a week… If they get fired, file for unemplyment against these Astrofurf one worlders… HAVE SOME FUN!!!!!

*grins* Indeed! I can steer any conversation right over a cliff and into a Monty Python sketch; a skill I've honed over the years.
Excellent work!
However, next time, for us old fogies who are hard of hearing, would you add subtitles to the hidden camera footage?
Incidentally, a few years back there was a lot of hoopla about how the PIRGs at universities were being funded by student fees with most students completely unaware of this, and if anyone did find out about it, having to go through a lot of red tape to get their money back. IIRC, Ralph Nader was behind this.
Oh ouch. You're a punster. I'll bear that in mind.
Forsoothe, the most vile demon of all heathens, he who goes by the name that strikes fear in the very souls of all the faithful has belched forth from the darkest deepest pits of Hell and commenced his attack upon or most holy Temple of Stars and Bucks. His battlecry can be heard across the land:

Hats off ot Crowder! What this shows is that leftist "grassroots" movements are nothing but well funded bureaucracies run by totalitarian Mrs. Grundy types. It's a classic piece of obfuscation. The genuinely spontaneous "town hall" protestors are portrayed as tools of "Big Oil" while the entrenched, highly-organized Soros-funded "progressive" movements are portrayed as somehow "genuine." Many thanks to Steve for this piece.

Steven, you went full hippie man. Never go full hippie. You don't buy that? Ask Janeane Garafalo.
This is easy to verify. Have fun trying to get a "journalist" to cover it.
Here you go, from Rutgers University in NJ:
http://www.studentabc.rutgers.edu/fees/campus_fee...
Read the last sentence of the part that says:
NJPIRG
The New Jersey Public Interest Research Group (NJPIRG) is a nonprofit, nonpartisan public interest organization founded in 1972. NJPIRG has a professional staff of researchers, scientists and attorneys who work with volunteers in the areas of environmental preservation, consumer protection and open government. NJPIRG campus chapters are funded by a voluntary fee, adopted by student referendum. For additional information regarding NJPIRG, visit their website at http://www.njpirg.org. If you do not wish to pay this fee, you may deduct the NJPIRG amount from your balance due.
Here is the UMass version of the same thing:
http://www.umass.edu/bursar/fee_explanation.htm
Steven, I posted this info to the open thread on Sunday. As I said earlier year, I worked for a PIRG one summer years ago. They are basically a fundraising machine. But how do they get a big hunk of money? From college student tuition fees at many universities and colleges. Do some Google searches and look through major university websites and you'll find things like this (see the last sentence):
http://www.studentabc.rutgers.edu/fees/campus_fee...

Yes, that's right. Students pay the fee by default and have to subtract it from the bill the University sends out if they don't want to pay it. Most parents just pay it and never notice that they don't have to. A similar page from UMass:
http://www.umass.edu/bursar/fee_explanation.htm
Waiving Optional Fees
If you prefer not to contribute to the following causes, these fees can be waived online. Log on to SPIRE. On your Student Center, click the Mass Pirg/Child Care Waiver under the Finances heading.
MassPIRG
Provides funds for the campus chapter of the Massachusetts Public Interest Research Group on environmental/consumer/government issues.
Want to cut off a major source of the PIRG's funding? Get conservative parents to ask for this money back when they pay tuition for their children when they go to college this fall. If they've already paid, ask for a refund.
