Being a Houston resident, I can completely understand your frustration with the airport "hired help".
Being a city employee means never having to say your sorry nor even give a care about one's job,
and unfortunately, we'll likely never be able to change that attitude.

I gather I have become jaded over the past 20 or 30 years of being in the workforce, these people open there mouths and complain and complain about anything that people will listen to. I think that this has become a way of life for most people that love mediocrity…… the true way of AMERICAN life was to strive and become better, the new OBAMA doctrine is don't worry WE THE AMERICAN TAX PAYERS with help you!!!!!! governement intervention….at its finest!

You were entitled to think someone should help you find your luggage. Take your own advice and suck it up. Who cares if an airline employee is not helpful?

The airline employee you speak of was most likely a skycap. I could be wrong although that is who you mostly see at baggage claim. Skycaps work mainly for tips. I would venture to guess that is why you got the brush off.

I agree poor people are responsible for their situation. So are people that whine about things as ridiculous as their treatment at baggage claim.

It's actually my old school he'll be going to. Thankfully they were not quite that bad. We got the usual things like Catholic Sex Ed, "Keep your pant's buttoned and you won't go to hell", and some of the other fire and brimstone curriculum, but generally it was all about learning. Not important things like mexican holidays or the greatest socialist leaders of all time, just things like reading writing and arithmetic (though the writing part never really stuck with me). The school is first and foremost about creating intelligent kids (oxymoron)
I do know what you mean though. My first 12 yrs of schooling where in Cahtolic schools so I was pretty burned out on religion for a very long time. It's a lot to lay on a kid! I hated it when I was there, but looking back, it was probably the best thing my parents ever did for me………..

Oh Dear God he is STILL posting on that topic! Now the minorities that do show up are "tokens!" There is just no pleasing him, ever. Oh wow, did you know most blacks and mexicans are anti-gun, and no self-respecting minority would go to these events anyway where there are GUNS and staring rednecks?
