War is a racket. Figure that out and keep the troops home where they belong instead of dying in useless wars like Vietnam and Iraq.

the profound respect and gratitude i have for these courageous men and women is why i mouth off so much. they are supposed to remain neutral so i can have a voice. and baby, you better believe i'm gonna use it.

I am reminded of a scene from the novel MASH, when a wounded soldier was asked by Trapper John how he felt about Ted Williams being over in Korea. The reply was: "Hell, doc, I wouldn't wish this kinda thing on a dog. I'd rather he was back home bustin' up a few ball games."
