Lonewolf Diaries: Only Conservatives Can Be Racists, You Morons…
by Steven Crowder“Obama looks like a Chimpanzee…” That’s the exact reaction elicited from Liberals in response to Sean Delonas’ recent comic strip in the New York Post. Granted, they prefaced it with, “Conservatives are trying to say…” in an attempt to play off their own prejudice while projecting it onto conservatives. Is anybody out there truly fooled by, or scared of, these blatant attack patterns? What can I say; the liberal playbook is as bland and predictable as a Vin Diesel sequel. “How can we better handle said attacks?” you may be thinking. Oh, Big Hollywood… I’m so glad that you’ve asked. Assemble the troops!
The aforementioned comic was meant to poke fun at the recent shooting of a chimpanzee amidst a chardonnay and Xanax bender in Connecticut, while simultaneously taking a jab at the stimulus bill. Liberals of course took the opportunity to show their consistent obsession with race, while at the same time trying to leverage their PC agenda in an attempt to silence any criticism of the current administration.
See, when outspoken liberals create racially-charged material it’s simply “thought-provoking” or they’re seen as “doing their job.” Anybody remember these old gems? Chances are that you probably don’t as they didn’t generate the kind of heat that we’re seeing here today. Why would we? When Condoleezza Rice is the target, portraying her as an old “Porch Monkey/Baby Mamma” is the only logical path to take, don’t ya know.
Truth be told, no conservative ever thought about drawing the Obama/chimpanzee comparison until leftists started making the attacks. Liberals know that if they don’t immediately turn it into a race issue, they lose one of the best cards in their deck. I’m speaking of course, of their famous, “Racist Conservative” card. It’s a card that puts one on the immediate defensive, striking such fear into its opponents that conservatives generally just fold. It’s a typical go-to weapon for liberals and all too often we allow it to be effective. I say, no longer.
Besides, liberal columnists, graphic artists and comedians were drawing the George Bush/monkey comparison for years. For a solid while there, I couldn’t open my inbox without finding another, “George Bush peeling a Banana” picture. It was an on-going joke. A joke so overplayed that it managed to do the impossible in rendering monkeys completely unfunny. Liberals correct me, but I think I’m getting a firmer grasp of the ever-moving “what’s okay and what’s not okay” target.
“George Bush the monkey? Fair ball”
“Draw a comic slamming the Stimulus Bill while featuring a chimpanzee? You, my friend are a racist, homophobic, hate-mongering etc… Neocon.”
Before you know it, you’ve made Olbermann’s list. For a party that controls virtually the entire comedic realm (sitcoms, Comedy Central, late night TV, etc.), the Democrats certainly have a lot of lightening up to do.
Many Conservatives think that the way to handle these attacks is to tread lightly and be hyper-sensitive to the issues. I say we need to be as unabashedly politically incorrect as possible. The only way we’ll end the “race war” is to discard it as an issue altogether. Who’s with me? Who else out there is willing to start speaking freely without fear of race, ethnicity or the liberal nutjobs who deem themselves offended?
I for one will proudly say that I thought the comic was funny… And on a totally unrelated topic; Barack Hussein Obama is one weird-looking dude.

Hey, Morgan Freeman and Carlos Mencia both agree with you.
Me too.
Steve, what kind of websites are you visiting? Talk about a womyn's studies cult!
By the way, I agree the cartoon was funny. And I think Barack looks like Curious George. And I don't care what liberals think. If they don't like what I think, they can send their little hemp shirts to my door and we can get the revolution started.
They don't really think it's racist, or wouldn't care if it was. They are just using racism as a tool to stop us from using their own tactics… pick a target and freeze it, personalize it, polarize it. And ridicule it.
How totally unfair to Bush, after all he never mentioned race in either one of his campaigns.
Chris Mathews never even brought it up when he was whipping Kerry to shreds.
Gosh darnit, come to think of it, we never even got to hear about the early years when the family stayed together, working and raising their kids.
Are there many monkeys in Midland/ Odessa ?
Add that to Big Education, Big Media and you've a cultural divide that's hard to conquer. How exactly does the right overcome all this?
Steve that is awesome. True and damned funny!
You know, we conservatives cannot be satisfied with Barack. He offers his solution to the immigration problem by funding overseas abortions by the millions of dollars in his first week, and we just can't see the sunny side.
Ooh, sorry – that's a bit of black humor, there.
Oops, and I'm racist. Why can't it be charcoal grey humor?
I think it would help to have a full scale attack on the usual attackers. A kind of target marketing offense. Those that cry racism the loudest often either have muddied histories themselves, or throw out skewed facts as the basis of their complaints. So, I don't know, if those that had the means to do it, were to have compiled bios identifying personal histories and fact filled press releases to flood the media every time they open their mouths – to remind everyone exactly who this is speaking and throw water on the flame. This is what the other side does. You can't read an article about some conservative figures without reading an imbedded reminder about why you should hate them. Time to turn the tables. We may get sick of talking about some liberals' histories, but that's how it's done. You have to keep shoveling it right back at them, and I don't think conservatives are traditionally used to this tactic, because it's petty, and annoying (that's why liberals love to do it.) Does that make sense?
Who's with you, Steven? I AM. I started fighting the PC crowd when I went back to school in the early 90s. I never could figure out where anyone got the idea that they had a "right" to not be offended. Being offended is NEVER the real problem, though: it's all about shutting down debate and de-legitimizing your opponent rather than actually arguing on the merits of your point of view. Hat tip: Saul Alinsky.
Cheers, Steven! Oh, and Thursday is now my FAVORITE day of the week! You are so funny..
Let's not forget continuing the ban on DDT, which kills one to two million brown, yellow, and black-skinned children every year from malaria, a disease which was all but eradicated by DDT a generation ago. But hey!!! We PC people love The Planet, and besides, as long as they're dying off-camera, who cares? Let's up the ante and deny Africans the ability to generate power sources to develop industry and improve their lives and call it "sustainable development"! Who are the real racists here?
Didn't think anyone could insult Vin Diesel; even his sequels are more creative than the liberal playbook…
Racism is a marxist construct from the 30's to be used as a wedge issue and to control debate. One can say that it has been amazingly successful so far. However, the worm is starting to turn and honest folk are starting to assert themselves and call things as they see them… this is the most non-racial country in the world- travel around and see for yourself- Europe is terribly race concious, and don't get started on Africa or South America.
It's because we are a kind and genteel people that we put up with being called names, and turn the other cheek. Anybody who has served in the military will tell you that we are a true meritocracy and race doesn't play when the chips are down, just the mark of the man…
Steven, great article as usual. However, using the word monkey in it obviously proves you are a racist!
Our attitude was different. "Sticks and stones may break my bones, but names will never hurt me. Now, which one do you want—the stick or the stone?" I must have come from a tougher neighborhood.
The latest flap is over conservative comedian Jackie Mason's "racist" use of the word "schwartze" to describe an African-American. It's Yiddish, it means "black." As an ethnic German, I resent the fact that Yiddish is an older form of German than is modern German, but that's another story. In German, the word is pretty much the same. Although the word can be used derogatorily, it still means black. So context is everything. I fault Jackie Mason for one reason only. He should have seen the storm coming. So now Aardvark is a racist. Whoda thunk it?
I can come up with many non-PC jokes about Obama:
"Obama said he enjoyed his private viewing of 'Watchmen' yesterday, saying the rape scene reminded him of his first date with Michelle."
Now, as a Conservative, I think this joke crosses the line. But since George Carlin said "I think rape can be funny" and Liberals loved him, I'm really interested in how they'd justify their double-standard here. At the very least, bashing them in the face with stuff like this might help them realize their double-standard. On the other hand, in a cr*p throwing contest, Liberals (being less evolved) have experience on their side….
Well Steven, you are exactly right.Let's tell it straight and without the pc.I have a very bad feeling where we are all going with Barrack as president and it wouldn't matter if he was in technocolor. What I think everyone needs to say out loud is that the guy is a socialist.Obama was asked if he was a socialist by of all people a NYT reporter.I realise that most of you never heard about this as Barrack gave a non answer and it was not spread wide by our non biased national media.I won't bore you with the minutia but simply state Obama learned the Saul Alinsky community organising mantra that is seeped in Marxist dogma.Barrack wants the government to collect from the capitalists and decide to whom or what receives said funds.Socialism.Pretty dry.Lansky believe in attacking and confusing their stated targets with a large "ground swell" from the oppressed. As Casey Stengal would say,you can look it up.So let's not be confused by race baiting and diversion as we are looking at a well oiled machine that are pros at staying on message.I am doing the same.
The whole idea is to "pre-infect" us by operating from the assumption that racism is at the core of all conservative ideas. Guilty until proven innocent and all that. I've even had a Liberal "explain" to me that Lincoln's freeing of the slaves was, in fact, racist because he was hoping to get as many of them killed as possible.
Since Obama didn't write the stimulus bill, how can one interpret the cartoon as referring to him. However, portraying Condoleezza Rice as Prissy from Gone With the Wind is quite clever and not a bit racist. We didn't even have to wonder who was being portrayed as they labeled her for us in the cartoon. Liberals are racist-free, you know.
"Many Conservatives think that the way to handle these attacks is to tread lightly and be hyper-sensitive to the issues. I say we need to be as unabashedly politically incorrect as possible. The only way we’ll end the “race war” is to discard it as an issue altogether. Who’s with me? Sounds like a great idea.
I'n with you ,also I'm Proud to call you Steve
unfortunatley I live in Idaho & any opinion I have is discounted by .i mean in spades ..
Add to that: Regulating Mortgages – Racist
"Make fun of everyone equally that way you can never be considered racist"
Perhaps THAT'S the answer! Force all those insipid politically correct dimwitted liberals to listen to Don Rickles rants over and over again until they're either "cured" of this nonsense, or else their brains implode from overexposure to ThoughtCrime…; – )
John, you talk about ending the "race war". Great idea. Part of it may be to some specifically "un-PC" some of the words that currently give offence. Strip them of their power to offend, and the fuss over them will die.
For instance, how about society says to black artists – if you're going to use the N-word in your music, then it's out in the marketplace and anyone should be able to use it without rebuke?
If this happened, I wonder how long it would take for the word to fall out of favour and get dropped from the general lexicon?

"rendering monkeys completely unfunny"
That's impossible! Monkeys are always funny.
At the risk of being a downer here, I've always thought it was a bad idea to mock what others aren't responsible for–their looks. Donald Trump's hairpiece being one major exception. That always gets to me.
No, there's plenty to mock about Obama besides his looks. His pride, arrogance, and ridiculous ideas for starters. That will keep us busy for at least the next four years.
Every time the race card comes up I think back to the several attempts to push an amnesty bill down our throats. Anyone who was against illegal immigration was hailed as being against all immigration and labeled a racist. If the left can avoid a debate you can bet they will and what better way than to shift the topic to race?
A liberal viewpoint: I've also thought of this. It could be racist, but Bush has been caricatured as a monkey for years and nobody talked. People are just being silly.
Yes, please. We need more people who speak honestly and openly without regard to who they will offend. After all, it didn't do John McCain a whole lot of good. You can't please everybody but you can stay true to what you think is right (and wrong).

"I say we need to be as unabashedly politically incorrect as possible. …I for one will proudly say that I thought the comic was funny… And on a totally unrelated topic; Barack Hussein Obama is one weird-looking dude."
Hear! Hear! I agree on both points. Political correctness is a form of emasculation. It neuters truth.
Say it- whatever you mean to say- and say it with boldness. And when the lemming hordes come at you with their knee-jerk attacks, turn it against them. Do not cower. Smile, mock them just a tad, and stand firm in your own convictions.
As for Barry looking weird. Yeah. A bit. He's got this ashen-lipped thing that disturbs me.
But, Michelle has always reminded me of The Grinch a la Chuck Jones.
Is it me?
"Since Obama didn't write the stimulus bill, how can one interpret the cartoon as referring to him."
…Well, come on… if you're gonna use reason, then forget it.
Thanks Lawhawk I have a whole new understanding of the movie Space Balls now. I need to learn a little Yiddish, some of the Jewish sarcasm is flying over my head.
If anyone saw that cartoon as racist, it's because they already had that racist connection of black people to monkeys imbedded in their minds.
Like Frank Zappa said, -What's the ugliest part of your body…I think it's your mind-
I can't count the number of times I have posted my pretty strong beliefs in things like religion, guns, personal liberty in here and been told my thoughts were "HATEFUL". When did being passionate about what you believe become a form of HATE SPEECH.!!!!!!!
I get enough of being told what I believe by people who don't know me or have a clue about my faith from the religious world without having the whole left side of the planet telling me I am a hateful bigot that is white trailer
trash as well. I may not be the sharpest tool in the shed but one thing I know for sure is that as long as there is breath in my lungs I will cling to my God and my Guns….(Please don't call me bitter)
I agree. He should just get rid of the lousy feather and realize he can fly without it.
Ashen-lipped thing? Do you mean he looks like that crackhead character that Dave Chappelle used to play?
lmao at the last line. Obama is looking a bit pale these days..
great as always, Steven.
The only problem is, that Obamulus does not look like a chimp. Chimps have an innate nobility about them. Affirmative Action Jackson looks more like Mr Peepers, from Saturday Night Live.
Nope, it ain't just you. I noticed the ashen-lipped thing too. Couldn't help but think that after his Presidency is finished, he could do very well as a movie star playing zombies.
Bravo. There are just as many liberal lowbrows as there are conservative lowbrows. How often were Bush, Cheney, and Rice made the target of lowbrow humor by liberal commentators and comedians? Where was the outrage?
When we can no longer satirize our celebrities, politicians, and institutions, we have slipped into the abyss of ignorance and apathy. From what I've seen, liberals refuse to see themselves as 'fair game' and whine about it when they are set upon for their foolish ideas and actions. Conservatives, on the other hand, gracefully suffer the remarks of those with diverse opinions. With half the field off limits, it appears we stand on the lip of the abyss.
My friends and I call each other racial slurs all the time. The more people that give us sneers the more fun it is. The racial ribbing in Gran Turino was hilarious.
As a child I was taught words could never hurt me, as a teen and now adult, I learn daily every word/term holds some type of venom for some "minority".
And, yes, Barrack is very weird looking, I never found the man attractive a bit, which seems to make me the only 21 year old female that feels that way.
HA! If my son laughes when he watches Curious George, does that mean he is a racist?
Seriously, if anyone wants to see some racism, try watching Comic View on BET.
Everything is hate speech unless it's in reference to a straight, white male.
But, Michelle has always reminded me of The Grinch a la Chuck Jones.
Daddy-O, since the first time I saw Michelle, I wondered if she was Aunt Esther from Sanford & Son. I guess I'm just a racist.
Great point. The left was ok with Condi being portrayed as Aunt Jemima and Colin Powell being called a house negro by Hairbrain Belafonte. No double standard there….not.
Whenever leftists bring up race or racism or accuse me of "just being a neocon racist", I remind them that -according to their very own obamassiah[nmp] – we now live in a "post-racial society"; and since it must be true if barry said it, racism is dead. Racism no longer exists and there is no longer any need for "white guilt". It's a new world, dontcha know?
Of course, it is kind of funny that the only people who are constantly yammerring about race and racism are the obots. You can't have any sort of conversation with an obot without them throwing racism into the mix at the soonest opportunity. It rather makes me think that the only people willing to look beyond race and accept or criticize people for themselves, rather than their skin color, are Conservatives.
Funny world.
"It rather makes me think that the only people willing to look beyond race and accept or criticize people for themselves, rather than their skin color, are Conservatives."
Well, that's not really shocking considering we all know how dems originally felt about people of color…
Don't forget the fact that we are turning food into (expensive, inconvenient and not much more efficient) fuel (with farm subsidies) when we could be selling it to those poor countries that need food. But then again, that would be a free market solution, and the left would never allow the free market to solve anything.
Holding ANY conservative opinion WHATSOF__KINGEVER = Bigotry
Freakin 10:00 cut-off! We should start a revolution! We have rights! We need to have Boston Egg McMuffin Parties!
Well, after all, a hairpiece is a part of one's looks that one can be and ought to be held responsible for.
every word/term holds some type of venom for some "minority".
You should hear the discussion they've been having about intentionalism over at Protein Wisdom. They've been using, as a test case, the potential of a black man to overhear a white man saying "Come here, boy" to his dog, think it's directed at HIM, and be offended by the use of the word "boy".
The webmaster is pretty much taking the objective, principle-of-charity position, and I think he's in the right… but the guy arguing against him is a lawyer, so I have to presume he's going to drag the discussion out until Jeff gets sick of it and throws in the towel.
Hey, it let's us tell good jokes too. Like, "I'm off like a bad toupee." Sure beats, "I'm out like the fat kid in dodgeball" when you're escaping work at the end of the day!
It makes too much sense
That's where I have to give Andrew Breitbart a lot of credit when he was on "Papa Smurfs" show he addimently stated that he disagreed with the premise of Dyson's argument.
I was hit by moderation last time and it didn't make it through so I'll try again.
Thank you Lawhawk, you've opened my eyes to some of the great sarcasm taking place in the movie Space Balls. I need to learn a little Y i ddish so that the humor of the film doesn't fly over my head so easily. If anyone saw my dislike of Iowahawks posting you'll know what I mean about sarcasm flying over my head.
Please feel free to post some Y i dd ish words that are commonly used so that I can keep up with Je wi sh satire and sarcasm. Sorry about all the weird spacing I'm still not sure how my last post didn't make it out of moderation.
RACISM IS SOOOO LAST CENTURY….
Of course, as Prof. Dyson showed Breitbart on Maher, a liberal can define words any way he wants. If he interprets some hidden meaning in your words, then your are guilty, didn't you read the politically correct rulebook? Black angry hyper affirmative-action college professors trump the white taxpaying male 8 days of the week; it's the victimology hierarchy. I wish this overeducated ham would write a dictionary to explain to all us plain talkin' folks what all these insensitive words really mean and how we can avoid them. Maybe then he'll be happy? Looks like the new generation of Jesse Jackson extortion Inc. is as determined as ever.
At work today when two white men were seriously discussing what was the proper term to refer to a Chinese co-worker ("I think we're supposed to say 'Asian' in case he's not Chinese." "But I know he is Chinese so won't he be offended if we say 'Asian' rather than 'Chinese?'").
I heard a woman say: "You all need to loosen up" which completely shocked the two guys.
Even better: She is a woman whose family escaped from a Muslim theocracy so their daughter would have opportunities.
Dude…
Make like a tree and leave
Make like a ship and sail
Make like an LA looter and run
Make like a baby and head out
I'm off like a prom dress
I'm off like a well that's all I have
"I was hit by moderation last time and it didn't make it through so I'll try again."
Ditto that. 2nd try.
Ah yes… and last summer there were the two intellectual giants offended when, during a county commissioner meeting about Dallas County traffic tickets, "Commissioner Kenneth Mayfield, who is white, said it seemed that central collections "has become a black hole" because paperwork reportedly has become lost in the office. Commissioner John Wiley Price, who is black, interrupted him with a loud "Excuse me!" He then corrected his colleague, saying the office has become a "white hole." That prompted Judge Thomas Jones, who is black, to demand an apology from Mayfield for his racially insensitive analogy."

I can understand a lot of Yiddish because it is so close to German (except they write it funny–take that, Jackie Mason). I got my first job in New York back in the 60's in the jewelry trade. If you didn't know at least a little passable Yiddish, you didn't survive. Some of the best insults are in Yiddish. "Momser" means "bastard." Your competition were always a bunch of momsers. "Gonoph" means "thief." "Putz" means "Obama."
Unfortunately, Yiddish is slowly slipping away in New York, Chicago and Los Angeles. I'm sure that there are others on this site a great deal more proficient than I in Yiddish, and ten times as funny. While I was in New York, I had a girlfriend who spent each summer in the Catskills, the heart of Jewish summer comedy. Her family invited me to visit, and we saw a few shows. I would have been utterly lost without that basic Yiddish. Mel Brooks, Jackie Mason and a host of other great comedians and writers cut their teeth there. So did a lot of lawyers, or is that redundant?
Hey Dave — I have been looking all over Youtube for the Prager/Miller dust-up you talked about but haven't been able to find it yet. Could you maybe post a link? Thanks a lot.
I'm sorry, dear Andrew, but I have to disagree with you. Curious George is far cuter and much more charming than the jug-eared fool of Pen. Ave.
I'll try give me a minute
Andrew: Your "moderation" filter has gone beserk!
Andrew: Your "moderation" filter has gone berserk!
I might have gotten her name wrong it's the Dennis Prager debate I'll try to link it
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2UBSTdSyQS4
It's been driving me nuts!
I find it funny that you can't say "flip chart" anymore. Apparently "flip" is some sort of racial slur. Ridiculious
Oh, STEPHANIE Miller. Cool, Dave. I'm gonna watch it right now. This promises to be a lively and satisfying hour of TV! Prager (for the most part) rocks! Thanks so much for the link! Talk soon! filmklassik
I know I'm getting in late here (huge timezone differences) but loved the article. I was thinking as reading…"yup, Barry looks like currious george, so what? Wilfred Brimmley looks like a walrus!"
More importantly, I took a look at the comic and did not think of Barry at all. I thought of 1000 monkeys with 1000 typewriters will eventually get you a stimulus bill. So in other words the supposed "offended" are so far off mark with being offended. I wonder if the ACORN sponsored slug that wrote the "I'm offended" letter to the editor has been told by party central that "any time you see a monkey, complain".
I wonder how many letters to the editor National Geographic gets when they feature primates on the cover??
Am I genetically racist? Yikes!!
I'd love to speak im(or is it un, maybe in?)politically correct, but alas I have a job and I go to college(no free speach there either).
It's an endless cycle. If you call someone Asian in England, you're likely to mean Pakistani. You can't win.
I'm watching it again just because it reminds me that there is still a little sense and reason left in the world.
That's just ridiculously funny well said. Some scientist said that every one should be, space wise afraid of the white hole is much more dangerous. It's pathetic that you can't use any reference that has the word black in it even though it has nothing to do with race.
Listen here baby killer…..(thanks for your service) yes you are genetically racist so is every other conservative racist. Conservatism is genetic racism…..lol. Please understand the humor to my joke about your service, I mean the statement only in jest. You Marines are the most feared soldiers on the planet and I thank you for you desire to protect and defend our country.
Yep. Every time someone says your name, someone else is offended. Not your fault. Mazel tov.
Tell me what you think about the debate.
Listen here Mormon you are full of hateful speech and hateful ideas I hope you go to Mormon hell…. It's a Mormon joke
Imagine how Stormin' Norman must feel. He's not just black, he's a blackhead.
I have quite a few Filipino friends. They're very wry. I asked one of them to help me flip a carpet. He got a horrified look, nose flared, fists clenched. When he saw the color draining from my face, he broke out in laughter. He couldn't keep a straight face anymore. So I flipped him off.
Turn off the TV, turn on the AM radio.
Skip watching the nightly "world news," look online instead. More news, less commercials for what you don't want, plus less of those brief video segments hawking consumer goods.
Prager = Pure class, 100% facts
Miller = Typical lefty bomb throwing, 10% facts.( that's being generous )
Difficult to watch
I couldn't have said it better.
Of course it's racial, it obviously refers to Flip Wilson!
Watch that racist language, someone may flip out!
(For the young and confused, yes there is a Wikipedia article on Flip Wilson…)
The word racist seems to be the sum total of every idea that a conservative can have.
Smaller Government – Racist.
Reduced Taxes- Racist.
Hanging people – Ra…never mind. (I didn't use the word lynching because that is racist as opposed to hanging).
Make fun of everyone equally that way you can never be considered racist, some how South Park managed to pull it off. If you really want to tear down the racism wall you have to confront it when ever you see it applied incorrectly which is about 99% of the time.
Steven I think you made a bold step forward confronting Islam. Make fun of Mohammad constantly not only is it funny it saves the military money. They start killing each other in outrage. Kind of reminds me of the LA riots when certain members of the community burned their own town to the ground.
LOL Yes your son is a racist under the broad umbrella of racism. Monkey see monkey do, damn now I'm a racist…
My comment was deemed unfitting. I'll try another way.
Obama is half white. It's PC to attack whites.
The rest is easy.
As a friend said the other day…the big gap that got the other side only 52 percent of the vote with supposedly the greatest candidate since Lincoln and Kennedy!
Anti-Illegal Immigration – Racist
SUV's – Racist
Not believing a word that comes out of Jesse Jackson's mouth – Racist
Not supporting the Manchurian Candidate – Racist
Not supporting Unions – Racist
Not supporting the 10 o'clock cut off time for Egg McMuffins – Racist
Anti Gun control – Racist
Being angry that the pictures of the food at Denny's doesn't match the final product – Racist
Anti Hate Crimes – Racist
Anti Gay Marriage – Racist
Hating Mexicans because of the color of their skin – Racist
Hating Europeans because of the color of their skin – Priceless
For everything else there's the Politically Correct Card don't enter a debate with out it.
I can't help my self so I must ask Tee42 why aren't you at your post.
Q: What's the difference between Jesus & Obama?
A: Jesus was a carpenter and Obama can't even put a cabinet together.
I did take some comedic license on the last post for humor sake and not for conservative stance sake.
Here are the the seven words (thank you Dennis Prager his 7 words) used by liberals to generalize conservatives and attempt to defeat debate before it starts:
Xenophobic
Sexist
Racist
Homophobic
Bigoted
Intolerant
Islamo Phobic
I'm not one to use race to rib anybody. I can usually find plenty of things about someone to make fun of them before I narrow it down to that notion. I'm sure others would say the same about me. But it's your good-natured business. I've been called racial terms before and I've yet to slit my wrists and my psyche hasn't been ravaged beyond repair. But I would love to get past the whole narrative where Maccaca can ruin your political career. Where you can utter something nice about a senile old man at his birthday without demanding you leave the Senate. Where you can print a cartoon without Al Sharpton trying to extort money. Where you can say actions during a crime matter more than the words, race or thoughts of the assailant.
Political correctness is killing us. There were reports of young, Arab men on watch lists taking pilot lessons in Florida eight years ago. The report was dubbed offensive and racist. How did that all play out? People who chastised dubious loan practices and the handing over free money were told they just didn't want blacks and the poor to own houses. The sheer idiocy is enough to make the Pope cuss.
How do we get rid of it? Quit caring. Don't shirk every time someone plays the race card – confront them. If D.L. Hughley called me a member of the Nazi party while I sat next to him, I'd tell him he was a fool. I'd remind him of the thousands of conservatives that died defeating Germany, and ask him why he supports a party with a former Klan member in the Senate as I walked off his insipid show.
Conservativism used to win when we confronted with the truth. William F. Buckley painstakingly took on all his critics. He beat them over the head with ideas and facts and was relentless in the pursuit of it. His "Notes and Asides" compilation is full of these examples, where he constantly challenged assertions made against him.
It's time to quit running. People use PC for money and power. They'll quit doing it when we quit giving it to them.
Go to youtube and watch the Dennis Prager vs. Rachel Miller debate it's a must see. It highlights the intellectual abilities of the right vs. baseless mantras from the left. I kid you not the word boobs shows up more than once.
I absolutely agree with the author. Bush, whether he deserved it or not, Clinton, whether he deserved it or not and every other President and public figure has had to endure criticism, insults, mocking, etc. Why should it be any different for Obama? He wanted to play with the big guys, then take it like the big guys do. As the article says… it's time to let it go.. the racism. What more proof that white america voting for a black man? What more proof than black and whites marrying, having children together, etc? Racism is always going to be there in EVERY CULTURE, not just a black thing. But definitely black racism has diminished IMMENSELY among the greater majority of Americans.
I finally had to give-up on some friends of color, as I found them extremely racist to blacks, whites, latinos and asians…….I could not convince them to change their ways. Yet, these are the same people that the media says we average Americans are hurting (because we are not liberal). Sad.
clearly we need some sort of new hayes code. this will provide artists with a list of acceptable metaphors to use when discussing the new administration. any sort of monkey imagery is gone. as are hanging and mental defective jokes. i know they were acceptable back in the bush era, but things change. yesterday i saw an article describing "buyer's remorse" among obama voters. using "buyer" in reference to a black guy is right on the edge.
it will have to be scaled by ethnicity, different races can get away with different things.
until someone provides me a map to the racial minefield i'm just going to have to keep telling the most revolting jokes i can come up with.
That's the beauty of being a hispanic conservative. I just tell Libs to take their "white guilt" and shove it up their arsehole.
There's always that "prices and participation may vary" caveat. Let's let the free market sort this one out. Buy a franchise, and serve breakfast for as long as you feel like. Got the idea from the late Mitch Hedburg. His comedy was genius. It's probably on the interweb somewhere.
[...] is becoming one of my favorite people… By datechguy …because of stuff like this: “George Bush the monkey? Fair [...]
Damn. You're right about Aunt Esther. It's been too long since I watched Sanford & Son.
LOL!! I do like Curious George a lot better that's for sure.
HA! "'Putz' means 'Obama'" I was actually L-ingOL at that one!
No offense taken. In fact, it's really hard to insult a Marine I've found out. All the seemingly derogatory names like "Jarhead," "ground-pounder," or "bullet-sponges," Marines tend to take a little pride in (after they kick the soldier, sailor, or airman's ass who said it just for fun.)
As for "baby killer," when someone says it seriously (I know you didn't), it just shows their ignorance of war. But never let it be said that Al Qaeda didn't use children as human shields or suicide bombers. Because they have and will continue to do so.
The only insult a Marine truly takes offense to is when our leaders mock the job we do or won't let us continue to do it (John Murtha, Barney Frank, John Kerry).
AS, I thought Marines took offense to being called sailors?
Speaking of the various services, I've got a joke you might like. As you know, each of the services has a different definition for what it means to "secure" a building. For Marines, securing a building means to seize it and kill all the bad guys inside. For the Army, securing a building means to surround the building. For the Air Force, securing a building means to take out a thirty year fixed rate loan.
Wrote about this very subject last month:

Needless to say I agree.
Joe
And on a totally unrelated topic; Barack Hussein Obama is one weird-looking dude.
Speak for yourself, flowbee boy.
I found it in "Yiddish for Goyem." Goyem is Yiddish for dummies, right?
Frank Zappa also said "U R What U Is,U Ain't What you Not,and A Cow Don't Make Ham,So Let's see whay U got".
Amen to that it's time for the Boston Egg McMuffin T party, but we'll eat the delicious Egg McMuffin first and throw the wrapper in the river it pisses off two birds with one throw.
Twas a time when a dude that was 1/2 white was called a Malato. Still is in many countries.
Steven, yet another excellently articulated article. You hit the nail on the head every time. When I started reading this, the first thought I had was "What about George Bush as a Monkey?" Talk about a bleeding double standard. Let's see… who are the true bigots?
The comic is funny for what it alludes to. But the discussion of racism that followed has missed one point. Racism is in the best interest of the liberals to keep going. The most enlightened liberals may say they want to see racism ended in their lifetimes, but in reality they don't. With it they have power, without it , 80% of their party would become Conservative right wingers.
My God, I say "boy" all the time when talking to my dogs. If I tried to be ultra PC I wouldn't be able to keep up…
Speaking of political cartoonists…. here'a a new presidential suggestion for Doonesbury (who liked to predict GHWB as invisible and GWB as first a cowboy-hat wearing, then a Roman general helmet wearing "invisibilian") — how about a slim metal pole capped with a piece of bent reflective plexiglas (TelePrompTer)?
It just occured to me–Bush was black! After all, monkeys are just code for African-American. Ask anyone.
Do you mean a mulatto?
Obama certainly looks more simian than Bush. Just look at the big ears and low forehead, Look at the gangly frame. If it’s fair to draw Bush as an ape it’s even more so with Obama, black folks’ paranoia notwithstanding.
After Obamanationmuslimcoummistathiest was elected, I told them, I said "well, this is it. Their is no more racism anymore. It's all gone. Anyone who calls someone a racist is the real racist!!" All those theories about blacks being the middle step between apes and white men as a means of subjagating (sorry for that five dollar word!) them is old news. Actually, wait a minute. Were black people compared to apes and thrown into slavery for hundreds of years or was it Ivy League educated WASP millionaires? You know, I think it might be the blacks. But don't worry, no one would do that anymore. All those monkey dolls sold at McCain rallies were just in good fun. Good taste too, as I got me about 100 of them. They're surrounding me as I type this. Thank goodness we can lead in an enlightened enough age where you can call a black man a monkey and call your accuser a racist!! God Bless America!
In the spirit of a quote from George Orwell; The word Racism has now no meaning except in so far as it signifies "something not desirable".
I have this Cox & Forkum cartoon up on the wall in my office, its been there for ages (am I the only one that misses C&F terribly? If ever there was an age where we needed their wit.)
http://www.coxandforkum.com/archives/06.11.28.Wor...
EXACTLY.
Go to YouTube and search for Buckley vs Vidal and see how he responded to being called a "Crypto-Nazi".
A company I worked for had a human resources training aong several things that every employee had to attend. At the meeting I got into trouble becuase I had to argue against the lunacy I was hearing. It was a mistake on my part I guess but it was the last straw.
The guy said that in a law suit the word oriental was considered an ethnic slur so from now on we would say "Asian". I stood up and started to argue that any one who thought the word oriental was nothing more than descriptive is an idiot. I further began to explain that Hindi Indians are "Asian" but are not Oriental so the very definition being used of what is Asian was an ethnic slur.
Suffice it to say I was told that legal cases were the generation of this. When I started to state that I would fight such a thing in court I was told to be quiet. Don't know why I spoke out I knew better but I am getting tired of liberals redefining words as a form of thought control. That is what it is you know. It's double speech.
Refraining from nonplusgood genetic marker assumptions of collective unit origins is proscribed as doubleplus good by your Big Brother citizen.
That site Steve linked to was heinous, wasn't it??? I remember a cartoon with Condi, and it showed her as pregnant with a monkey/George Bush baby in utero. Does anyone remember that? And the one from GWTW, with her as Prissy, the slave girl, is offensive. I didn't even have a reaction when I first saw the Delonas' cartoon. I just looked at it, thought, "meh," and never once equated it with Obama. I was really surprised people took it that way. I dunno if Obama looks like CG, but he sure has his round little, sticky-out ears!
This is the left's cute commentary on Judge Clarence Thomas:
http://www.blackcommentator.com/62/62_lawn_jockey...
Nope, that's not offensive! Don't ya'll remember how offended all the blacks and liberals were over this? No? Huh, wonder why?
Watched it all! And it was BETTER than advertised! Thanks Dave! filmklassik
I've been fighting this fight for years, count me in! Years ago modern liberals* changed the definition of 'racist' to denote anyone who disagrees with them. Which means, by default, any one not a self proclaimed modern liberal must be a racist. I refuse to accept that premise. I have no problem pointing out their hypocrisy and their racism. And they will not stop me from doing so.
* I use the term 'modern liberals' to denote the difference between the current ilk on the left and classical liberals who cared about things like, say, liberty.
Hate crime. That's a phrase. What, hate doesn't factor into other crimes? I'm pretty sure a guy pulls a gun on me, white, black, asian, whatever, I'm pretty sure he's got some hate in his heart regardless of my skin tone.
See, I could have SWORN they were comparing congress to monkey's.
Wow did that go over my head. Way to tell this poor midwestern girl how to read a cartoon, dems. Thanks.
BTW, I just have to say this, I take secret pleasure in the fact that I will graduate from an Ivy-league school. I will enter the real world, and they will think I am one of them. Unbeknownst to them, my daily dosage of Limbaugh and BigHollywood will have made me immune to their indoctrination. I will be able to work from the inside to take them down.
Unless I crack first and burn down that liberal-only coffee house (Yup, it is explicitly anti-conservative and republican. Bugs the crap out of me that I have to pass it to pick up my paycheck) down the street. That might alert them to my plans
