Getting Louder With Steven Crowder: Go Green… NOT! Obama’s Policies and Global Warming.
by Steven CrowderAh yes, the “Go Green” movement. One would expect it to be an aptly named title for a Kermit the Frog album. Unfortunately, the amphibian has pulled a Pontius Pilate and washed his hands clean of this entire situation. This latest video installment addresses the militant environmental activists and their effective manipulation tactics aimed squarely at today’s ignorant, fickle youth
All the regular environmental fixtures are here. Barack Obama, SUV’s, polar bears and cow farts. Who could ask for anything more? I would also like to take this moment to formally express my hatred for both Ted Turner and his crappy, poorly drawn, douchebag of a hero known as “Captain Planet.” How many more lives must be ruined? How many more boys must be stuffed into lockers, Ted… How many more?

Well gun-damn! That was quite entertaining. You’re just like Alfonzo Rachel.
By your powers combined, I am Captain Planet!
Nice. My eight year-old is getting it at school, from her friends, and on TV (Disney & Nickelodeon are the worst). Right now she listens to me (a skeptic) and her mother (an anti-GW fanatic), but I can tell she’s confused because she keeps asking. It really is unfortunate that we’ve let our schools be taken over by the Left. Forcing our children to go through that just is something we should all be ashamed of.
excellent!
let a 14 year old dole out science information! science informaton from people that think we used to have saddles and rode around on dinosaurs.
entertaining and as irrelevant as this dork’s shrinking niche.
Are you wanting to educate those you don’t agree with or just poke fun at them?
And man, you can be funny at all, but there is an awful smugness to these videos that makes me kinda ill. The little eyebrow raise at the end was pathetic. “Look at me! Aren’t I clever?”
No, not really. All you do is get a few points you don’t agree with and then SHOUT A NOT VERY FUNNY OR INFORMATIVE PUNCHLINE!
Well done though. You’re the first conservative comedian to make me laugh. Even if it was just a tiny little bit.
MikeC – Show me one time when Al Gore raise his eyebrows with a little “aren’t I clever’ smirk.
Navel – So this site is just intended to be one big Right-wing circle-jerk with no input from the outside?? Awesome.
Doot – “So this site is just intended to be one big Right-wing circle-jerk with no input from the outside?? Awesome.”
Change Right to Left and you just described 90% of the Left Wing Blogosphere.
“But right now, denying general climate change is equivalent to denying the existence of evolution.”
Sorry David, but no one denies that the climate changes. That’s what it does. There never has been nor will they ever be a static climate. It has been changing for billions of years and will continue to change.
This kind of mindless rhetoric always leads me to this question:
“What is the correct climate?”
As it was 10 years ago? 20? 50? 100? 200? 500? 1000? 1 million? 1 billion?
Considering the Earth has experienced both cooler and warmer climates than we have now, which one was the “right” one according to career politician Al Gore and the political organization IPCC?
You can’t answer that, of course, because there is no “right” climate. The climate is what it is and it is up to the organisms living in it to adapt or survive. That last part comes from the theory of evolution. Perhaps you “climate change” cultists need to read up on it before you go lecturing the rest of us.

I don’t know, try saying something intelligent and challenging, and let’s see what happens. Unfortunately after several weeks, I’m still waiting for the first interesting post by a Liberal here. I guess it’s easier to be insulting and cynical than actually debating the facts.
I used to be more Liberal than anything, but the utter lack of insight on that side has driven me to the Center. I spent two years on a Liberal message board, and for every well thought out point, there were dozens of uninspired, “Bush lied, people died,” posts. Whether it was claims that Bush was going to declare himself King, that Christians were just about to take over the US and kill all non-believers, or conspiracy stories about “super bases” being built in Iraq that would require us to keep tens of thousands of troops there for decades while we stole their oil (not to mention all the enviro-crazy posters).
I’m not kidding, I’d love to hear an intelligent argument from the Left. At the moment I’m just embarrassed I pretended it passed for intellectual discourse for so long. The next time you post a response, try actually formulating an idea you want to put forward, instead of doing the easy thing and tearing someone else’s down (that is, if you can).

I can’t show you that, but I can point out the $100 million dollars he’s earned scamming useful idiots. Seriously, if ten years ago you told a Liberal that they’d give their unadulterated allegiance to a man who earned 9-figures by telling them to ignore any science that didn’t agree with his….they would have laughed you out of the room.
“But right now, denying general climate change is equivalent to denying the existence of evolution.”
Interesting comparison. Both are theories which have many weaknesses, left to the reader to explore. Unfortunately, expressing any dissent on either theory is met with ad hominem character asassination and evasion. Evolution is not ‘truth’, it is a theory which has never shown creation of new species (requiring the addition of new genetic information) and relies on miracles to explain the conception of any initial matter. Global warming has evolved from ‘the sky is falling’ to ‘the sky is’ just to match the incredulous presuppositional ’science’, driving towards massive taxation and control of the masses.
LOL!!I totally love this video and you, call me, lol.
But seriously, this whole go green crap is really grating on my last nerves. For example, I work retail in kids and I got these shirts that read, don’t be a dinosuar, go green or go exstinct, well something to that effect, and I was like really? Can’t we just have basic tshirts for kids instead of trying to scare them.
Needless to say I hid them on the bottom of the wall behind a fixture, I know I’m such a rebel, lol.I’m glad to see I’m not the only one that is bothered by this.
Evolution is not ‘truth’, it is a theory which has never shown creation of new species (requiring the addition of new genetic information) and relies on miracles to explain the conception of any initial matter.
I wonder how many evolution believers are even aware that Darwin presented the idea that all animals, plants, and germs come from the same single-celled organism. Yeah, that’s easy to believe. {rolleyes}
I keep wondering…where’s Al Gore these days? Anyone heard from him?
Not that I WANT to hear from Al Gore, but I am curious.
Speaking of cow farts……wasn’t there something recently about taxing farmers on the number of cows or hogs that they had because of the air pollution? Also on another pet peeve —–asthmatics who require inhalers were recently informed that the albuteral (generic & cheap)inhaler was discontinued because of the gas that was used as an inhalent. This appears to be 2-prong attack – save the world & increase profits to the medical supply companies. Yup – no generic on these new babies that they’ll be putting out but environmentally safe. Did they think that all the asthmatics in an area would get together and breath in their medicine at one time? These inhalers were used for rapid recovery during an ongoing attack – not for daily medication!
Bravo. I agree. Global warming is a temporary myth that ignores the wonders of nature. One Sunday morning in May 1980, Mt. St. Helens dumped more sulfur dioxide, carbon dioxide, and hydrogen fluoride into the atmosphere than the sum of ten thousand years of human pollutants. People are not capable of changing the weather for fifteen years like Mt. St. Helens did.
Very well done.
The whole problem with the debate in my estimation is that it is so politically charged that very few will acknowledge that hey we just don’t know. Acknowledging your ignorance in science is actually a strong trait. After all isn’t the point to discover the unknown. If cells can travel in space and life were seeded on our planet then no amount of study of our planet’s geological history would be likely to show the process whereby cells are created.
If cells were designed then yes we could assume it was God or a set of “gods” that made them or it could have been some alien entity whose form is not known to us but is very much describable by science. These are not theories, they are hypothesis that we may have little ability to test.
Ok, I agree with everything you said. I also don’t think it validates Darwin’s theory of evolution (at least not the entire thing, which is often referred to as scientific fact by the Left). I’m not sure if your entire post was aimed at me, but I’ve never made any statement about not believing in evolution, because I think obviously much of it is true. I also never said I was a Conservative, so don’t go cringing on my account.
I’m just annoyed by the dismissive nature of the Left, who claim Darwin is 100% right, but often only know a fraction of his overall theory. That’s a big part of the discussion as well.
Meh.
Sounds like somebody trying WAY too hard to imitate Mauchosauce.
Not that it is bad, but it could use a little more work.
hehe, Sorry Navel. I didn’t think they were your words, I was just copying the first line so I could respond to the statement. I could have snipped your name out of it, but since he was responding to you I thought I should give you credit.

I completely disagree with you, Mr. Crowder. Man is undoubtedly responsible for warming our planet. It’s why we should eat him.
I support this statement on principle. Or because I’m hungry. You choose.
