Hollywood Backing Perv Polanski Shouldn’t Surprise Anyone
by Pam MeisterThere has been much indignation - and rightfully so - from various parties over the fact that Hollywood is ”circling the wagons” around Roman Polanski, who was finally arrested in Switzerland after being a fugitive from justice for over 30 years for the drugging and subsequent rape and sodomy of a 13-year-old girl despite her pleas to stop – to which he pled guilty, by the way.

An excellent article, which really says it all, is by Kate Harding over at Salon.com – if you haven’t read it yet, you should. She reminds us that Roman Polanski – wait for it – raped a child. I don’t care if the victim, now 45, wants it all dropped because she’s tired of being the focal point of publicity. I don’t care it it’ll be a drain on California’s over-extended budget (how about not footing the bill for the education and medical care for illegal aliens? That’d fix things in a big hurry). I don’t care if she “looked” older than 13, or if her mother was the proverbial stage mother from hell, or if the sky was green instead of blue that day. And I certainly don’t care that Polanski is such a talented director – what WOULD we do without Hollywood to entertain us? – with a troubled past of his own. Many of us have troubled pasts. We don’t all use it as an excuse to do whatever the hell we want just because it “feels good” at the time.
It’s time for him to man up and face the music for committing a disgusting crime against a child – one that took away her innocence forever.

But not according to some big names in Hollywood, no sirree Bob. Whoopi Goldberg says it wasn’t a “rape-rape.” What the hell? When someone says “no,” it’s rape. Even if the girl had said “yes” it would still be rape because since when to we expect children of that age to know when they’re being taken advantage of by an adult? If they knew better, they would reach their majority status at 13, not 18. Kids have a lot of growing up to do during those years in between.
Patrick Goldstein talks about the boy as a fugitive who became a fugitive as an old man. No one would deny that as a survivor of the Holocaust he and his family, along with millions of other Jews and “undesirables,” were viciously prosecuted by the Nazis. And I’m sure it was painful to be an early suspect in his wife Sharon Tate’s murder (she was a victim in the grisly Manson Family crime spree). But he became a fugitive later in life due to his own actions. Had he not done what he did to that girl and then run off before serving his sentence, we wouldn’t be having this conversation. He probably would have been an even bigger hero to the Hollywood left had he gone to prison. After all, Hollywood always forgives unless you’re a conservative. And don’t tell me his “exile” has been hell on earth. He continued to earn a lavish living while making films overseas, including “The Pianist,” which earned him a 2003 Academy Award for Best Director. Boo hoo, he couldn’t come here to claim it. Cry me a river.
Debra Winger, jury member for the Zurich Film Festival, seems more worried about the impact this will have on the festival than serving justice, as the festival was getting ready to bestow a lifetime achievement upon Polanski. She said in a statement, “This fledgling festival has been unfairly exploited and whenever this happens the whole art world suffers. We hope today this latest (arrest) order will be dropped. It is based on a three-decades-old case that is dead but for minor technicalities. We stand by him and await his release and his next masterpiece.” The whole art world is suffering because Roman Polanski violated a 13-year-old girl and then ran out on his sentence? Damn those technicalities. What’s next? Should we be bemoaning the fact that Phil Spector is in jail for murdering a woman in his home because the music world is somehow suffering too?
I could go on, but you get the point. As a parent, the stench of moral equivalency is making me ill.
But I suppose we shouldn’t be surprised that so many Hollywoodites have decided that Polanski has “suffered enough” and, in fact, may not even be guilty because not only did he have a tough childhood, the girl with a pushy mom may have been a real-life Lolita. Think about it: The entertainment industry believes it is responsible for the moral compass of America and, by extension, the world – and look at much of what comes out of Tinseltown. Many of the movies, television shows and videos to which we are treated glorify sex and violence, and some of it is aimed at young people. (Ever see that show “Degrassi” on the cable network aimed at teens, The N?)

Then there are movies like “Lolita” (two versions), based on the book of the same name, where a young girl “seduces” an older man. And who could forget “American Beauty?” Kevin Spacey’s character Lester Burhham is a family man who rebels against the horrible life he lives in the suburbs and, among other things, begins lusting after his teenage daughter’s friend. It actually gets to the point where his sordid dreams about her are about to come true – but when he rips open her blouse, he realizes she is still a child and comes to his senses. Too bad Polanski didn’t.
Oh, the man who wrote “American Beauty” also wrote “Nothing is Private” (a/k/a “Towelhead”), about a 13-year-old Arab-American girl who is struggling with her sexual awakening. What is it with 13-year-old girls in Hollywood?
Smut and other “unconventional” behavior, heavily laden with moral equivalence, is Hollywood’s stock in trade. Why would they criticize someone who does in real life what they sell to their patrons every day? (Yes, you could argue that if people wouldn’t buy it, they wouldn’t sell it. Sex sells, yada yada yada. But let’s keep the kiddies out of it, shall we?) Drug abusers and alcoholics are always given second, third and fourth chances. Why not men who sexually abuse children? As long as they can keep making money for the industry and giving them reasons to hand out awards that only they care about? Awesome.

Excellent article, agree with all points.____And really to defuse the whole "it wasn't rape-rape" or "she was asking for it" or whatever I simply say he was tried, convicted, and was awaiting sentencing. He must return to get his sentence and perhaps additional penalties for skipping out on justice (that IS against the law isn't it?) If the judge in the case looks at all mitigating factors and decides he has served his time well then fine. Of course we could all go after the judge then! But Justice must be served!
If I make a movie then do I get to drug, rape, and sodomize little girls? He needs to face up to his crime. Now a judge may take into account that he doesn't seem to ahve ever drugged and raped little girls again in the intervening years. That sort of argument may mitigate his sentence. But this outcry that he must not be punished because he is a famous film director is absurd. He needs to face his crime.
This shows how much the elite (both Hollywood and European) is out of touch with normal people. I've read many comments on many forums, and from people I know have very left of centre views, and I have yet to see one endorsing Polanski.
I wonder if we will see the rise of "Roman republicans" ie decent liberals who are so disgusted by the worldview of their own kind that they start to see the light?
I sit here, mouth agape, at the abject indecency of Hollywood. A 13 y.o. girl was RAPED!!! I had read somewhere that had this been Father Polanski that every Liberal in this country would be screaming for his head….Couldn't agree more.
Fact…she was 13
Fact…he gave her drugs, qualude, etc.
Fact…he had sex with an underage child
Adds up to rape to me…real rape, Whoopi…
I don't understand how anyone can attempt to justify Polanski's crime in any way. The fact that Hollywood women like Goldberg and Winger are so dismissive of such a heinous act towards a child is beyond disturbing. I knew Hollywood had a warped sense of morality, but I had no idea of the depths of their depravity until they defended an admitted rapist rather than his victim. Nauseating and reprehensible.
So Whoopi says it wasn't rape-rape.
Right Whoopi, I guess it wasn't sodomy-sodomy, or he didn't give her quaaludes-quaaludes either.
Hollywood – raising fecklessness to an art form!
There's evidently a backlash in Europe against America's backward sense of justice, and why after 30 years we can't just let it go. What's wrong with these people?
I watched Whoopie's comment about "rape-rape." What does that even mean? Sounds like Clinton's "depends on what the meaning of 'is' is." What in the world was that goofy woman talking about? Is there a difference?
Nice piece Pam, I totally agree. How anyone can moralize something as grotesque as a forty something man raping a thirteen year old girl, no matter the circumstances. This defies anything approaching logic. Justice is blind and this calls for justice. I wonder what Whoopie would say if it were her thirteen year old?
quote: "The whole art world is suffering because Roman Polanski violated a 13-year-old girl and then ran out on his sentence?"
Great point.
If this Was the case, then I think 'the whole art world' deserves to 'suffer'. But I don't believe the whole art world suffers because one of its perverts has been exposed all over again in media.
And since when does movie-making wash away the sin? I know politicians believe public policy stances (the Leftist ones) washes away every sin, but making flicks?
Nice to know that even Nazis have higher standards than Hollywood:
http://news.ninemsn.com.au/world/869153/nazi-rock...
Hollywood has been trying for years to erase all societal and cultural taboos. The one against adults and children having sex is just one of the latest. Sadly, they've been all too successful.
I would ask that supporters of sex offender Polanski read the testimony in the court record. He not only raped a 13 year old he sodomized her.
How many of the same liberals defending Polanski wanted those Duke lacrosse players jailed?
What kills me about Hollywood's defense of Polanski because, ya know, the girl was really a Lolita, is that the last time they remade Lolita they hired a 16-year-old actress to play the 14-year-old character because it was felt that it would be too creepy watching Jeremy Irons with a 14-year-old. No kidding!
It just amazes me that anyone in Hollywood could defend raping a 13-year-old.
When one liberal remarked that "this Polanski thing" had the stench of politics, I agreed that he could be right. So I suggested that he read the girl's testimony as if it were his daughter's and then tell me that 32 years have wiped the slate clean:

Europe is a clinical model on how NOT to do many things. I just spent a month there and the list of ridiculous Euro-style idiocy I saw there was long and wrong.
Read people read …. this guy was a piece of work – Anyone have a "theView" account? I want to see if whoopi will start reading this out loud starting on page 11. Have her read this to the crowd and see how they react.
http://www.thesmokinggun.com/archive/polanskib11….
This country has gone down the tubes so bad … so so bad…. Please forward this to all your holloywood friends and have them just read it….
Polanski is obviously a scum-bag and Hollywood's out pouring of "love and understanding" is all to predictable.
http://www.thesmokinggun.com/archive/polanskib11….
That is an excellent question, I'd also ask how many of them wanted the guy Tawana Brawley accused to be jailed.
Perhaps the Polanski supporters can forge a new coalition to stop the senseless prosecutions of all child rapist fugitives! They can continue to harass all the victims and their families until no one wants justice anymore.
oh, this just in…Hollywood rapist fugitives:.actual victims….Actual victims: real perpetrators!!
<sigh> How upside down are we anymore!
Many pedophiles, serial killers do not look like charles manson at all. They are the average guy next door, with wife and kids, have work, and a likable person, that just happen to occasionally rape a child or two when no one is watching.
Doesn't woody and polanski look like frail loving grandads? Hardly the beefy, scarred, tattooed, rotten teeth child rapist you see depicted in movies. (Well, one has found a way to doing it legally with his adopted daughter, and the other frail one needed to sedate his young prey). It's all imagery you know!!! If they act and look normally/lovingly in public, talk softly, famous 'artist', then they can get away with it.
Where are the Feminazis when you need them? Seems they should be all over this pervert.
Lets face it, if a Hollywood type's 13 yr old daughter was raped by a black man from the ghetto, the lib would want the death penalty.
But, this guy is one of them, so, the rule of law goes out the window!
Not rape-rape? Hollywood wants to treat this as if it was a technicality. As if Polanski was 15 and was just fooling around with his equally willing 13 year old girlfriend and got caught by the morality squad. He was 44! He fled justice. If they want to make this an indictment on them, as well, so be it. You've made a good case.
Brucelee, the silence of the feminist on this is deafening. Guess it will take Sarah once again to come up with a choice turn of words that even liberals, even though they'll howl about it, won't be able deny their ring of truth. That Roman has lived the life of Riley since confessing his crime, has never atoned for it, and now must pay the Piper. That no one no matter how gifted, talented, smart and/or rich is above the law and cannot be excused for immoral behavior.
I see Martin Scorsese has joined in the admitted child rapist's defense. I am really disappointed. I wish his mother was still alive to slap some sense into him.
That's because you have morals. Modern liberals don't. Their "pack mentality" is stronger than any moral conviction they claim to hold.
Unless its them that get screwed over, then all that moral equivalency is out the door.
Personally I don't think its possible for sane, decent, moral people to understand the thinking of peope who are insane, indecent, and immoral. Our brains just aren't wired that way.
The only thing I can think she was thinking was something bizarre, along the lines of "can you imagine what a boost to my career if he'd raped me?"
And risk not getting invited to the "A" list cocktail parties? Not a chance.
Standing ovation!
Do yourself a favor and don't try to understand it, because it is not possible. Trying to understand it requires finding some common thread running through the idiocy from all over the political left. But the only present common denominiator on the left is their raving addiction to the lowest common denominator, masquerading as the nobel savage that can only be saved by the enlightened, open-thining leftist.
That's why it's rightly constructive (no pun intended) to always press into what is right and universally true, and building knowledge about those things, instead of trying to explain to a schizoid leftist why they are wrong. Remember the old joke about putting a crazy person in a round room and telling them to stand in the corner? That is the perfect metaphor for trying to reasonably discuss anything with a leftist. We are two different types of people separated by a common country.
Cheers.
Good to see we can now play semantics to justify crimes in Hollywood. Just use the word twice and it's all good!
"Your honor, my client did indeed murder those people, but it wasn't murder-murder…"
"Yes, he did mug that old lady, but it wasn't mugging-mugging…"
If Polanski were a 40 year old Republican, Hollywood would be calling for his head (and so would I), but since he's a liberal, they hold him up to the same standards the Hollywood elites have themselves: none.
How can ANYONE defend what this creep did? I don't care how long ago it was the gist is that he never paid for his crime. Whoopi Goldberg and her ilk are so out of touch with reality that it's pathetic.
AND just because the victim forgave him doesn't mean that he's let off the hook by the justice system.
Just goes to show that libs have ZERO morals and hollywood is the worst of the worst.
If it were Whoopi's 13-year-old girl, she would have handed him a rubber first.
Yeah NOW and every Ms. Hairypits is stunningly silent….
"but since he's a liberal, they hold him up to the same standards the Hollywood elites have themselves: none."
Spot on!
I don't accept the excuse of Polanski's "troubled past".
His troubled past should have made him ultra sensitive to the suffering of others.
Polanski needs to be locked up for many years. It's not surprising that Hollywood has come out to support this creep. Hollywood is displaying their same lack of values that lead them to support Democrats – http://is.gd/3OQiY
It would be nice if she could tie in Letterman when she does this. he needs to be raked over a lot of coals for his continued idiocy. I am pretty sure he approves of the rape of 13 yr olds as he already cited the proposed rape of a 14 yr old.
H-wood is morally destitute. Their prompt defense of Polansky shows a much seedier side to fame and celebrity. There's a perverted fascination with underage sex, and in Polansky's case they probably think they're progressive challenging some taboo subject by defending the confessed rapist. I'm starting to wonder how much we really don't know about what goes on behind the walls of their million dollar mansions, after (during?) casting sessions etc. what sleazeballs they are, how disgustingly low and bereft of morality, how exploitative, predatory do they think they can be without fear or consequence. Or are they so effin stupid to realize how wrong and shallow it is to support a child molester?
I found it ironic that Woody Allen, of all people, signed the petition asking for Polanski to get off the hook.
One thing about this whole situation though is the way the case was handled 30 years ago. Polanski plead guilty so he could get a deal, by all indications it seemed that deal was going to be broken. It's no excuse to flee the country but I thought the guy got a bad wrap from the California justice system.
Bring him back, let him get his hearing – more than likely the original plea bargain will stand he will be put on probation.
Wow. Who would have thought that when we said the Hollywood crowd had the morals of the Nazis, we would have been insulting the Nazis?
That's how delusional and grandiose the Hollywood crowd is. They believe a "fledgling" film festival is more important than the rape of a 13-year-old. Heaven forbid these people should miss a party. My loathing for these people grows each day.
When Nazis are looking at you and saying, "Whoa dude that's out of line…." You know you're going to front of the line in Hell….
In Texas that little bastard would have gotten what he deserved, And Whoopie, get that big hole below you nose sewed up.
Well, I'm very pleased with the petition they've started. Now we know the exact membership of the "Hollywood Rapist Society."
I hate seeing this labeled a conservative/liberal issue. This is a "one of us" issue, where one gets blinded by loyalty. I'm as liberal as they come and I'd like to see him spend the rest of his life in jail.
Great read, Pam. You were dead on with all your points.
We need to get a list of the advertisers for The View and send a message to them just as they did against Glenn Beck for his comments. We need to tell them that we do not support the notion that somehow adults who have sex with and sodomize children, particularly after they've drugged their prey is not "rape-rape". Rather than talk about it on blogs, which they dismiss, we need to hit them in their wallets. We need to send a message that we are no longer going to tolerate this sort of nonsense.
I'm not condoning suicide as I believe its against Gods law but looking for a loop hole may be permissable for the "show business" jerk in Denmark and "show business" jerk Polanski.

Hey, I think I detect a pattern developing there!
Quite right and they can't do it alone. They are given all the help they need to accomplish their objectives
by ticket buyersI wonder what is next, marriage to animals or has that been done.
I wonder what modern liberal Hollywood would do if Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir declared himself a tortured artist? Does that make Darfur is really just a misunderstanding?

"I think a servant of the Enemy would look fairer and feel fouler." — Frodo Baggins.
Some troubled past. He has to live in Europe because they understand "thank heaven for little girls" better than Americans.
Of course Allen signed, he's very understanding of Polanski's problems.
Sodomy, in Hollywood and elsewhere is a touchy subject. Obvious reasons
particularly in the crime and punishment arena.
I might question that statement, Hollywood has defended black cop killers. Your sentiments are in the
right place but the only people they consistently allow capital punishment to apply is conservatives of any color.

Uhh, no, he wasn't tried and convicted. HE PLEAD GUILTY. Big difference. He had a plea bargain with the prosecutor to get off easy, but the court doesn't have to abide by a plea bargain. He got scared that he'd have to do more than 45 days in jail so he fled the country before he was sentenced and taken into custody. Read the transcript of the plea hearing at smokinggun.
They defend Polanski because he is "one of us". Us being the worldwide aristocracy for which the rules don´t apply because they are wild and crazy and very special people. Don´t you get it? Creative people are just different. And who knows what one of "us" will do next which isn´t perfectly legal – maybe driving under the influence or throwing a teacup at a servant. They look at Roman and think: That could be me. I have my passions, too. And we don´t want the rubes to sit in judgement of us.
This is a prime example of how morally depraved Hollywood is. I can’t believe some of the comments I have heard from Polanski’s Hollywood friends. Like “oh it wasn’t rape” “he is not a sex offender” “It was rape but it wasn’t rape, rape”. Unfortunately I read the court transcripts from 1978, the victim said no several times even though she was drugged. When he realized she could get pregnant, he decided to sodomize her, not once, but twice. 95% percent of pedophiles do not change, they are sick. No wonder he moved to France, they are fine with child rape and statutory rape. My rapist moved to France too, no wonder.
A new coalition? How about:
Society for the Protection of Rapists Of Underage Teenagers (SPROUT)
It is a slippery slop to hell. Putting a child in a rated R movie and having a child act out a love scene is perversion that only the one doing it can only justify to live with self. Hollywood has always perverted the humann experience and does it for money. Most of the supporters of this man, probable have devalued their life with a perversion or two themselves, so they justify with him to feel accepted.
We should never watch a movie nor click on anything promoting the perversion of our society. Money speaks volumes to these people. If the man never made a dime on the Pianist, Mr. Roman would have never been accepted by the Elite.
Suicide seems to be the preferred coup de gra of Hollywoodites particularly method actors.
The final scene played with authenticity
Absolutely insane. Here's Hollywood arguing that 42 days of psychiatric evaluation is plenty of punishment for the premeditated, drug-assisted rape and sodomizing of a 13 year old girl… or that his glamorous life abroad with a string of almost-too-young starlets is somehow a horrible injustice perpetrated upon the man. Meanwhile, in the real world, anyone convicted of this gets several years in prison, followed by a life of being announced as a sexual predator at every attempt to start over.
Heck, a man here was just sentenced to nearly 6 years in prison (70 months) for pulling a box cutter on a guy who attacked him for cutting him off in traffic, yet the pre-planned rape of a 13 year old is only worth 42 days? The days of entertainment notables being "untouchable" is long gone, didn't anyone over there get the memo?
I don't think we should make this a liberal issue. I know many liberals, who are appalled by this. I'm on your side, and yet everytime this subject is written, it all goes back to communists and far leftists. Enough is enough.
F-you (AND Polanksi AND Whoopi) already with the Letterman "rape" bit…DO YOU EVEN KNOW WHAT HE SAID????
At least Huffington Post readers have lets the apologists have it between the eyes re. this topic, suggesting even they have a line that shall not be crossed…
CT Dad, your problem is that like many liberals, you live in the real world. In the real world, liberals and conservatives disagree on alot of things. But when it comes into child rape, liberals and conservatives agree.
Hollywood isn't the real world, CTDad.
*MissQuinn*
you might want to get your hands on a simple textbook that explains how conception occurs. In order to be "Knocked up" – one has to have had sexual intercourse. When a man has intercourse with a 14 yr old child IT IS RAPE. You must be one of those Dems. All dems want to pass laws to get their hands on children – either to kill them before they are born or to rape them afterwards. I will not be surprised when Letterman's membership in NAMBLA is revealed.
It's not a liberal-conservative issue. It's a right-wrong issue.
Any thinking person is going to know that the raping of a child is wrong, regardless of their political party
Yeah, that whole argument bothers me too. So if your parents and wife are killed you can become a rapist and it's ok.
No plea deal, he fled he doesn't deserve it. I think the judge may have changed his mind about the plea deal, after hearing the girls testimony which is within his right and responsibility. It was sickening what happened to her. If he is brought back he should be re-tried and sentenced using today’s prosecuting standards for child rapists. He will be put away for a long time.
This story is very similar to the Oregon Governor Neil Goldschmidt story. He raped a 14 year old girl for 2 or 3 years, but didn't get caught until years later. He called it an affair, and so did all his liberal friends. Neil also relocated to France. Neil is also Jewish (I am not implying this is a Jewish behavior). I wouldn’t be surprised if they were best buds over there in France, child prostitution is alive and well over there, and rarely prosecuted. Did you hear that all you US pedophiles please relocate to France or some other accepting country and stay there!!! We don’t want your kind. Honestly if the Swiss would just keep him in jail for awhile and he never comes back that would suit me just fine. I know Neil had other victims, Polanski probably does too.
Perfect…must be an offspring of ACORN!! Or did ACORN spring out of SPROUT? Must ponder!!
They would probably sign a petition to get him the Nobel Peace Prize…not genocide-genocide! Not mass-mass graves!
What about "no means no"? Disgraceful.
I read somewhere, that the psych eval, said that Roman was not a pedophile or something like that. Well times have changed, we know so much more about that behavior than we knew 30 years ago. He is a pedophile, he admitted to child rape.
I agree it was politics that allowed Polanski to escape justice for 3 decades
It doesn't amaze me at all. Hollywood has no morals
Actually, I read on a link Drudge has up (ABC if you can believe it!) that the prosecutor showed the judge photos of Polanski with a couple of other very young girls, at which point the judge got rather upset. The judge had already heard the testimony – what he got from the prosecutor showed Polanski's perverted patterns of behavior.
Proposed panel discussion topics for MSNBC:
RAPE and RAPE-RAPE….. What's the Difference? Is the 13 year old age limit too high?
Hosts/Moderators: Keith Olbermann,Chris Matthews and legal consultant:, Dick Wolf. creator of Law and Order.
Guest Panel: Special guest…Roman Polanski
Other panelists: Whoopi Goldberg, Woody Allen, Bill Clinton: and Jeaneane Garofolo.
Aside from Mr. Nolte, this is the only intellectual honest piece I've read on this here, because it's basically admitting up fron that the "outraged" don't give a damn about Polanski or the victim – it's ALL about ginning-up the outrage against the eeeeeeeeeeeevil liberal/gay/jewish/democrat Hollywood Conspiracy.
Only took, what? Five days?
Natasha Kinski.
I noticed her name isn't on the "free Polanski" lists…wonder why…
But is it still rape if he didn't really mean it? Well, here's our boy wonder after the crime. He really meant it:
“If I had killed somebody, it wouldn’t have had so much appeal to the press, you see? But… f—ing, you see, and the young girls. Judges want to f— young girls. Juries want to f— young girls. Everyone wants to f— young girls!” — Roman Polanski,1979
Great commentary in the Village Voice: http://blogs.villagevoice.com/runninscared/archiv...
I agree that Polanski should face a new trial.
But the stupid thing about this is that the victim and her family apparently accepted a court settlement in cash. So what kind of moral highground do they now have to say that he should go to jail? None (Which is obvious from their stance regarding the matter.).
Beyond that, there is a huge double standard from our society that says that it's ok for people to act as promiscuous as they like (and even get paid for it) and then treat those people as victims when things go over someone's arbirtrary line of what is decent and acceptable behavior.
Should that 13-year-old girl have been in that situation? No.
But until Hollywood, the fashion industry, the media, and the advertising industry stop promoting this type of situation it will be repeated, over and over.
"it's ALL about ginning-up the outrage against the eeeeeeeeeeeevil liberal/gay/jewish/democrat Hollywood Conspiracy."
Aw, no, it's not a conspiracy conspiracy. It's just a coincidence that a few hundred of them got together and signed the same pro-pevert petition at the same time.
Thanks for the info. I knew an ol pro pedophile like that would have more victims. It might be another reason why Polanski doesn't want to come back to the U.S., more victims might come forward. There isn't a statute of limitations on suing someone for $,$$$,$$$.$$. I have a suspicion that the Swiss have more info on him as well. The french and polish couldn't care less.
Good for them. About time they put those brain cells to use.

I like that explanation Miss Quinn. Yes Hollywood is in a world of their own, and the inhabitants of their world are called the rich famous untouchables.
