Enviros Use ACORN Tactics and Attack the Journalist (Literally)

With the mainstream media devoting to trying to turn policy differences into racism it leaves the task of asking hard questions to people in power open to the rest of us
Inspired by James O’Keefe and Hannah Giles who have shone an uncomfortable light on Acorn by asking obvious questions and by simply letting people answer I decided to cover the New York premiere of “The Age of Stupid” – a documentary that claims the human race will be extinct by 2055 because of Climate Change.

Much of the “Age Of Stupid” is spent attacking those in the developing world who want our lives and lifestyles. The documentary is particularly critical of those in countries such as India who want to fly more for business or pleasure.
The documentary is quite clear that flying in aeroplanes is disastrous for the planet. “Apart from setting fire to a forest flying is the single worst thing an individual can do to cause climate change,” we are told.
So after applying for and being given press accreditation by their publicists I decided to find out whether the film makers and their celebrity supporters have stopped or even reduced their flying hours.
Or is it only the people of the developing world who must fly less while environmentalists continue with their luxuries because their campaigning is so important it has to continue.
I had been told that Franny Armstrong “The Age of Stupid’s” director, had been careful whilst making the film but has been on a massive flying binge promoting the documentary. Then there were the rest of the celebrity supporters such as Kofi Annan, the head of the UN, Mary Robinson, the former Irish President, actresses Gillian Anderson and Heather Graham and Moby who is apparently a famous DJ.
Are they making the sacrifices they demand be enforced on the people of the developing world?
Unfortunately there seems to be one thing environmentalists dislike more than flying and that is hard questions about their own flying habits.
After a few questions which revealed that none of those at the premiere had the slightest intention of living up to the standards they demand of others the film makers decided they didn’t want to be accountable. Along with their security guards they manhandled me and and forced me of the press deck despite having given me accreditation to be there.
I didn’t realise press accreditation now comes with provisos that you are not allowed to ask awkward questions of environmental activists and their celebrity supporters.
They then used their security team to block my camera.
There were lots of other press at the premiere but they didn’t seem interested in seeing if environmentalists even tried to live up to the standards they demand of some of the poorest people on the planet.
They didn’t even seem interested in covering the obvious expulsion of another reporter for asking difficult questions.
And they wonder why no one is watching their TV news or buying their newspapers.

Please post the name of each and every "guest" or "whatever they wish to call themselves so we can do something tangible- you know- like going to their websites and movie company websites- production company websites- distributor websites- and providing them with real evidence of our dissatisfaction. We could then inform them of our intention to avoid any film or product that they have, or ever will produce, direct, star in, support, or in any way associate themselves with. Provide them with a real world incentive to act in a rational manner and not just as boorish snobs and elitists.
On the other hand these good people are doing their part to reduce emissions of deadly greenhouse gasses by keeping their heads up their asses.
As always the Enviro-end-of-world crew are the worst offenders. I agree. No wonder no one believes a word they say.

Gillian, I loved you in the X-Files, but seriously, how about having the film producers set up a large screen and you appear on it via satellite? Especially if you believe that the world will become uninahbitable in your lifetime.
There IS a famous radio "shock jock" named Moby, who came to fame in Dallas. But he never struck me as the tree-hugger type.
Are you sure THIS Moby wasn't the bald alternative-rock musician? His real name is Richard Melville Hall, and he took the name "Moby" because he's distantly related to Herman "Moby-Dick") Melville. He seems more the Green Party sort.

The unspoken assumption underlying the enviromentalists agenda is that they will always have a main deck stateroom on the Ark (Mark Steyn's phrase) while the rest of us are back living in our wattle huts and traveling birch-bark canoes. This is simply elitist arrogance in it's most unvarnished form. The simple fact is that they are so insulated from the "real world" (they claim to love) that they can enforce their WE WILL NOT BE TALKED TO LIKE THAT attitude without even a hint of irony. Oh Well – Glad to see Heather Graham is at least getting some face time. Her career doesn't seem to be going anywhere.
Heh, even they're website is censored. They refuse to accept "deniers" and "sceptics" reviews. You can't challenge their "truth", their twisted logic, or even their hypocrisy. I left a lengthy review calling them out on their "the debate is over" mindset, but I bet it will be taken down before noon.

There's no more perfect way to toy with a libbie's head like a drunken kitten than applying their most cherished weapons back at them. A two-part approach that attempts to (1)shame lefties with (2)the establishment clause would be so rich and sweet it would give 2/3 of this country's population a mouthful of cavities. I think adopting "causes" is just a social thing with the elite. They live in a little enclosed world – almost like small town where everybody knows everybody else's business and gossips can raise or lower a person's social status at will. I know from experience that many of the behaviors the old-fashioned small-town denizens engaged in were simply for the purpose of avoiding gossip. You went to church every sunday, stayed sober, kept your kids in line, didn't get too friendly with Black people, etc. If you stepped out of line, those old church ladies would be talking you down and you'd end up a pariah. Or at least you imagined you would.
So I think the Elite world is kind of the same. "Doing causes" is expected. If you don't do causes you're not "one of us." People will talk. Your reputation will be at risk. You won't get invited to parties. The purpose of causes is not to actually accomplish anything. It's to be seen by your peers as having causes. There is no hypocrisy in taking a jet to an environmentalist function. The important thing is your face being seen at that function – not how you got there.

OK so I am supposed to believe that flying is bad for the environment. OK what is the alternative? Trains can't go over Oceans. Ships only go about 25 to 35 miles per hour. How is anyone taking these idiots seriously. It could not have happened as little as 40 years ago, they would have been laughed off the stage.

It's basically namby-pamby liberalism reproduced on the scale of the rich and famous. For non-celebrity liberals, as long as they get some T-shirts with the right messages on them (Peace, Coexist, blah blah blah), go to the nearest Whole Foods store, talk a lot about how Bush is evil and we need to do something about big business and the environment, etc., they can feel good about themselves. For celebrity liberals, as long as they believe in the right things and parrot the same lines, that's what really counts. That's all they need to feel good about themselves. Ecology, as practiced in Kaliforrnia is a religion, not a science. While ecology (Lower case letters intended) may incorporate some scientific rigor, for the most part it is a political bludgeon with most of the rigor of Sciology… i.e. very little. Don't breathe- you might exhaust minute amounts of carbon dioxide. Don't pee, you may possibly pollute the water. Nobody begrudges poluttion control THAT MAKE SENSE, but to substitute ecology for your religion makes as much sense as the Protestant-Catholic wars in Europe did.

Awesome idea! All for it. These environmental wacko Hollywood types (who always act superior to the general public, as if being famous gives them a divine right to be so) are the most hypocritical people on the planet. We need to not support their films or TV shows. Of course, we'll probably stop watching most movies and TV, considering how many of them are out there. I believe, however, that Tom Selleck is a conservative and his "Jesse Stone" movies are fantastic.

Some one needs to do some serious in depth investigation into the number of predictions made about the world ending and the number of times they have been wrong. I'd imagine that you're more likely to win the lottery than to pick the day that the world ends.
The "science" behind global warming is bogus. It all comes down to the sun's lack of activity. We are headed for an ice age. Global warming is only a cause to push their political agendas and gain control over people's lives.

How about this for the third X-Files movie: An international cabal of multinational corporations and their political toadies (and vise versa) connives to create a massive new ‘industry’ based on credits awarded to companies that do not exceed their allowed emissions of a perfectly harmless, natural gas. Said credits will be bought and sold at a profit allowing certain weak industries which could not survive the free market without massive subsidy to artificially prosper while politically incorrect industries which are at the heart of our industrial base are left to wither. Scientists all over the world are publicly shamed for decrying the scheme, or bought off with grants and political connections to go along with the hoax. All of this of course is to allow for the coalescence of a new over class immune by their wealth from the inevitable super-spike in energy prices and ensuing hyper-inflation. When a "psychic" or tarot card reader gouges someone over a long period of time, we know what that is, a scam. You question the psychic on their methods and eventually you have to arrest them for fraud unless you specifically make the business about entertainment. The enviros do the same thing; a lot more sinister in nature however. They cause people to believe their magic powers of hidden computer data they tamper or achieve falsely, make an enemy to hate, and then get rich off brand new businesses made specifically to gouge their flock. The environmentalist movement has nothing to do with clean air or water anymore. It's all a power grabbing scam. They should be investigated and tried.
