This article from the Telegraph says that Slumdog is the first great film of the Obama era. What the hell does that even mean? Talk about cult of personality.

And news flash: George Bush is still President.
America is not Obama’s. I do not belong to Obama. Atleast me and 45% of the the voters didn’t vote for Obama.
As for culture… I think they think of Movies as culture. I look at movies and go ‘where’s that?’. It has nothing to do with any of us. They don’t understand most of us and their films have lost their sheen.
