Straight up? Sean Penn would only support the troops if they would beat his wife for him. It would take all the stress and work out of his relationships.
I actually read the same report and Breibart did run the story. Penn's not as liberal, or as dim witted, as he let's on–a wacko, for sure, but salvageable.

Penn must have a movie he's promoting or something if he's claiming to actually support the troops.
For as long as I can remember and I think, frankly, since the creation of the United Nations, it has been the intent of the Left to destroy the military. They have always resented that money spent on the military was money they couldn't have spent on their favorite disabling socialist programs. Having said that, though, they will misuse and abuse the military to any extent they can to gain political advantage. It has become a political tool for them.
Sean Penn supports our troops whenever cameras and microphones are nearby, like most anti-war, anti-military folks do.
Penn is the kind of person I'd rather see through a scope.

You my confused little friend need a clue. The military doesn't aim to "kill women and babies" but the people we're fighting make no bones about doing it. Whether "it" refers to killing inncocents, bombing large groups of people to make some bs statment or straping those same bombs to retarded girls and pointing them in the general direction of Barney before pressing the button.. killing them and everyone around.

i don't understand some people's hatred for sean penn – you don't seem to know the facts about his trips to venezuela, or iraq or cuba –
he has never not supported our troops – he doesn't want them getting killed for bogus reasons the bush administration supported or for killing innocent civilians.
he does not beat his wife and never did and if you're referring to his first wife the charges were not supported.
Penn is actually QUITE the tool! That's enough for most people & his sucking up to various & sundry thirdworld scumbags only adds to the 'luster' of being a tool…as for 'The Troops' getting killed for 'bogus reasons'…well like what? Like it or not, in the place of our choosing or not, turning Tangos into dead Tangos seems to be as 'non-bogus' a reason as I could find.
