Hussein deserves a standing ovation. C'mon ladies and gentlemen, let's stand and give this simpering ignoramus his due praise. Our jugeared economic illiterate in the White House has just set a new American record. In 1982 we had 17.2% real unemployment. In 2009 we have 17.5% real unemployment. Let’s hear it for our favorite affirmative action recipient.
Doncha know it’s racist to object to a black man destroying our economy? We’re supposed to sacrifice our posterity at the altar of multiculturalism, after all, that’s more important than preserving the republic. When we’re all sitting on rubble digging in the dirt for food we can say “well, at least we weren’t called racists.”

Unemployment is only a bad thing and only blamed on the administration in power if the administration in power is Republican. If it is a Dem in the White House, then the unemployment is blamed on everyone else and citizens are told to get used to it because it wiil last awhile. Also, the media does NOT put the sad stories of the unemployed on the news every evening when it will hurt THE Chosen One, but were eager to do so when unemployment was under 5% and Bush was the president. No matter how high the unemployment rate gets, the Obama administration will be ready with an excuse, and the solution will never include the things that work like tax cuts.
now they have time to read the bill. funny. hope that's not what they plan to do on their recess. they should be working on their resume's cuz most of them will be looking for a job come next november.

Get used to it. It's going to be like that till the MSM is regulated to the ash heap of history.
It's a calculated risk. The dem leaders, for the most part, are safe bets, they come from liberal enclaves, and don't have to worry about re-election.
They can afford to lose a bunch of seats, hell, probably wouldn't even bother them if the do lose one branch of congress. Makes it easier for Obama to crank out the old play book on do nothing republican congress.
Because, if they get this through, they've turned us all into slaves to the government. At that point they figure they're guaranteed at least a generation shoveling at the government trow.
See how well Bush did with private retirement accounts for social security reform? They're planning on the same thing with government health care.
This is only about one thing obtaining and retaining more power.
Some one ought to come up with a talking Obama doll.

A: Retake the Republican party.
B: Edge out both the Dems & RINO Repubs under a new party like the American Conservative Party.
The Congress's brush off of america's reaction to them in August was any indication and the on going brush off of current protest. The Gov't to me appears to be very well ignoring the will of the people/taxpayer.
I did not care for Bill Clinton but he had a point "It's the economy stupid!" He knew as long as economy was hurting he would have a snow balls chance in heck of getting his agenda passed. But Clinton was Populist not Marxist.
