Please get rid fo the laugh track. This wasn't funny at all. Alternatively, you could replace the laugh track with crying babies or the sound of tortured animals. That would be much more appropriate. Thank you.
The far-left have no sence of humor…just look at Obama!
I have to say I can not sit through an entire episode of NewsBusted because of the horrible use of laugh-tracks. If you look at how other very successful comedians present material on the internet you will see they do not need to apply a fake audience to the broadcast but people are still very loyal. If you have good material it will stand on it's own.
I am a supporter of what you are doing and think there is a huge opportunity to show how comedy can include opinions from both sides, but you are killing any chance you have of being taken serious by using that fake annoying laugh-track.
You should at least try doing one show without a laugh-track, letting people know it is just an experiment. If your viewership goes up, experiment successful; if not; I do not know what I am talking about and you can go back to the old format.
Chad Johnson aka "Ocho Stinko" ……. what a loser
He needs to quit football and go back to washing cars in the Cincinnati Airport AVIS rental car lot…..!!
You are right it's not funny at all, particularly because for the most part it's true. By the time Obama's through you'l be eating that baby seal
These continue to serve as fabulous case studies as to how important comedic timing is.
Just found! Obama's birth certificate– in Sandy Berger's socks as he was leaving the Kenyan National Archives.
I stopped reposting these on my own blog because they really weren't all that funny. NewsBusted needs to take a course from PJTV. Not even hot Jodi Miller can save this.
Anyone else find these completely unfunny? I doubt they would be any good even if you took away the horrible laugh tracks.
Obviously there was some kind of uprising on a left-wing blog, comments rife with empathy-filled progressives wishing heart attacks or fatal accidents upon the target du jour (in this case NewsBuster) and thereby sending a few over here to 'spontaneously' comment regarding the main fault they could find with the presentation ~ that being the laugh track ~ as there is little to dispute in the truths inherent in these pseudo-comedy bits. Creative minds capable of a healthy sense of irony will for the most part experience these laugh tracks as part OF the irony. It just isn't all that important.
You want to know the easiest and quickest way for a B list celebrity to get five minutes of free TV time to promote their latest venture? Just mention that you hate Obama, whine about the state of the company….you'll be booked on Fox & Friends, Glenn Beck within a matter of days AND you'll get a guest column on Big Hollywood.
Such a whiny bunch on this site – I've seen it happen lately with Craig T. Nelson, Victoria Jackons, and Daniel Baldwin….don't think that some agents aren't actually encouraging this, at this point. "Yeah, just bash Obama, it'll go on YouTube, and you'll get some good exposure in front of a 2 million senior citizens….they go to the movies, too."
Where were all of you five years ago when W started a prescription drug program with a $7 trillion deficit behind it? Oh, right, you were in power and just didn't care about it. Funny how losing elections makes people care all of a sudden….
Please stop. These are not funny. These are tired and debunked (birth certificate) political points and not funny. it has nothing to do with the laugh track although it doesn't help.
Griff is a troll. If not for the laugh track nobody would know if a joke had been finished, or if it was still the middle of a set up for the next 'joke'. If you do it once without the laugh track you will lose the chance to ever pretend you have a live studio audience.
Have you thought about playing the laugh track without whatsername interrupting with talk? That would be funnier.
