Apparently the NYT is quite selective in who it values, and protects, although saving one of their own is understandable. I wish that they had more regard to the safety and security of our men and women serving in dangerous areas around the world.

I think the problem is more the people recieving the reports and stories coming out of Iran and Iraq. More than likely the editors and publishers are practicing what most MSM does these days, protect their friends and evicerate their enemies.

My husband and I are huge fans of Michael's and have donated to him several times. His reporting- honest, direct, captivating – is invaluable. Michael had always been sensitive to cultural implications and is a champion of our men and women in uniform and the members of the military from our allies. He is a breath of fresh air in the media, in particular when compared with the New York Times, which I have often found has selective ethics and guidelines.

As StlDan said, Who do I believe? Without a doubt, Michael.

This doesn't surprise me. The NYTs leaked a story about a US Sub SSN Lapon, trailing a Soviet Yankee class Submarine, which the Soviets found out, putting our sailors in peril, and risking an international incident. And who can forget the Pentegon Papers release. Apparently the NYT is quite selective in who it values, and protects, although saving one of their own is understandable. I wish that they had more regard to the safety and security of our men and women serving in dangerous areas around the world.

The human scum at the NY Times had no problem publishing classified info that put alot of people and ops at risk. I say jail KSM on 43rd and 8th Ave and let those traitorous bastards suffer the most.
