Palin is an idiot, through and through. She doesn't have the education, the experience, or the ability of basic analytic reasoning. She is an ideologue of the worst kind. Give her a script and she can perform. Ask her a question, even the simplest questions, "What newspapers do you read?" or "Can you name a Supreme Court decision other than Roe V. Wade you don't agree with?". How anyone can listen to her responses can believe she has anything other than a vacuum between her ears is beyond me.

Letterman is a comic. He made a joke. Sometimes jokes are offensive to some people. You want to "punish" Letterman, don't watch his show. If enough people agree with your position then his ratings will drop and his show will go off the air. That is how the free market works. That's what free speech is.

Conservatives like to wave the banners of Freedom, Liberty and Free Speech until it comes to the freedom, liberty and free speech from those that they don't like.

As an Alaskan I'm embarrassed by her as my Governor.

Imus was fired even after he gave a very sincere apology, which was accepted by the women's basketball team.

This isn't about Palin. It's about society saying we're tired of this kind of talk being rationalized as "jokes".

Letterman should still be fired.

So the jokes were acceptable during some circumstances but not others. That's pretty much the definition of moral relativism. Which means the very position Rulle rails against in his opinion piece is exhibited by himself, Palin and multiple other supporters. How ironic.

Lies. If she meant nothing, the Left wouldn't keep attacking her like this. They're not so stupid as to waste time on those of their opponents who pose no threat.
