To Mr. Perez Hilton, I’m Making You an Offer You Shouldn’t Refuse
by Michael FranzeseA few weeks ago I was at the Fox Studios in New York City preparing to make an appearance on the Cavuto show. Mr. Cavuto invited me to talk about my recently published business book, “I’ll Make You An Offer You Can’t Refuse,” and the “Machiavellian” approach to business some people in the Obama administration appear to be taking. I was chatting with one of the show’s producers, explaining how the mob would lend money to a business and then take control of the company (sound familiar?), when a beautiful, blond woman came bursting through the door of the green room with her entourage in tow.
Turns out she was Miss California, Carrie Prejean, the reigning queen of the state in which I just happen to reside. Cavuto’s producers were able to nab the beauty for an early interview. My wife and I and two of our daughters watched from the green room as Miss Prejean very respectfully stated her belief that marriage should be between a man and a woman. Before seeing her interview, I was unaware that her response to a question posed to her on the subject during Sunday’s Miss USA competition had quite possibly cost her the Miss USA crown.
On the plane home that evening I read a piece in Newsday about the incident and learned that it was you, Mr. Perez Hilton, who posed the question about gay marriage to Miss Prejean. Apparently, you didn’t care for her response. “That’s not the kind of woman I want to be Miss USA,” you were quoted as saying. “Miss USA should represent all Americans and, with her answer she instantly alienated millions of gays and lesbians and their friends.” You further went on to say on your video blog that had Miss California won the crown, you would have “run onstage and ripped the tiara off Prejean’s head.” You followed that demonstration of courage by calling her a few choice names that even I, a former Caporegime in the Colombo organized crime family, would be too embarrassed to put in print.
For the record, Mr. Hilton, I would like to state that I, too, believe that marriage should be between a man and a woman. My wife also shares that belief and we have brought our four children up to believe the same. We have also brought them up to be tolerant of people who do not share our beliefs. In other words, we would not tolerate our children “ripping a tiara off of the head” of a person, had they been judging that contest and the winner was a lesbian. Nor would we tolerate their calling her disrespectful and shameful names. In fact, I wouldn’t even consider breaking your knee caps for disagreeing with my beliefs, Mr. Hilton, and I’m a former mobster.
Miss Prejean had every right to state her beliefs in the honest and respectful manner in which she did. She has as much right to respectfully disagree with same sex marriage as you do in advocating such a union. In my opinion, your response to a young lady who represented my home state with dignity and class brought shame to the very people in this country that you so poorly represented in your position as judge of the competition. My daughters are of college age and have brought their gay and lesbian friends into my home, where they are welcomed and treated with respect. My nephew is gay and even though we disagree on the subject of marriage, we are both die hard Yankee fans and enjoy watching the games together while downing a bowl of pasta. For the record, my nephew is a great cook. My wife and I have friends and associates who are both gay and lesbian. They have no problem what- so-ever with our belief in marriage being between a man and a woman. In other words, they tolerate our opposing beliefs.
I am quite sure that these fine people have been embarrassed by your disgraceful response to a person whose beliefs are in opposition to your own. It is you who have alienated these fine people and their friends, and not Miss Prejean, with your disgraceful display of intolerance to another person’s beliefs. We are blessed to live in a country where opposing views expressed in a respectful and civilized manner are to be tolerated. That’s the law of the land. If, in fact, Miss Prejean was deprived of an award she rightly deserved because of her honest and respectful expression of her beliefs, both you and the organizers of the Miss USA contest should be thoroughly ashamed.
Furthermore, if I were Donald Trump, rather than deciding whether Miss California will be allowed to keep her Miss USA crown, I would be holding a press conference to publicly admonish you for your disgraceful representation of a contest I owned. I am very surprised not to have heard the word’s “You’re fired,” directed at you from the Donald.
I would like to offer you the opportunity to publicly apologize to Miss Prejean and to the millions of Americans, — gay, lesbian and straight, that you have shamed with your childish behavior. It would be a good way to show all Americans that we have the right to respectfully disagree on this subject or any other and not suffer as a result. That’s an offer you should not refuse.

Seeing as how you were formerly in the mob, I will avoid offering anything that could be construed as criticism. Mobsters don't waste time with waterboarding.
Yeah good luck with that… :/ He is one of those people that think their opinion is the only correct one and if you don't agree with him than you are vile and evil…
Yehaa! A fellow Yankee fan!
Well said and I believe i can say that most of the good people of Texas would agree with you. Tolerance is a two-way street or it isn't tolerance at all.
"Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new." 2 Corinthians 5:17 KJV.
A thoughtful and well written article. Unfortunately, you may as well have been addressing your words to a rabid raccoon.
Nice try Michael… but we already know that Mr. Hilton (or whatever his name really is) won't apologize.. cause we don't agree with him, "he's in the right and we're ALL wrong, so we should be apologizing to him"..
Ick.. now someone get me a barf bag… just trying to imitate a liberal loon like him is making me sick to my stomach.
(and I'll forgive you for still being a Yankee fan…)
Right on, Michael. Reasoned, powerful, and civil. I hate to see Trump give employment to lowlife weasel slime- merchants like Hilton. That Hollywood offers a pulpit for this Cretin to spew his filth is to our detriment and our shame.
every gay rights proponent who wants to be taken seriously needs to distance themselves from perez hilton immediately, actually two weeks ago. he is not helping their cause. this shrieking little troll has made himself the poster child of the movement.
i think back to "one flew over the cuckoo's nest" there was a scene where all the patients were sitting around in a circle for some sort of therapy. they all began arguing, and nicholson was telling another guy "don't be on my side".
Quote: "I wouldn’t even consider breaking your knee caps for disagreeing with my beliefs, Mr. Hilton, and I’m a former mobster".
Awe! Come On! How about if we say Pretty Please?
Mr. Franzese – you can wait until hell freezes over before Perez has the integrity to apologize for his filthy behavior. You're quite right about Perez's 'defense' of gay rights actually being an attack on it – IMO, Perez has done more to set back tolerance of gays than any homophobe ever could. But as for your waiting for him to apologize? No way. The act of apology begins with the acknowledgement that there is someone else in the world besides you. That's way off Perez's radar. It's all about him – nothing but him.
P.S. I also am disgusted that Trump didn't land on that screaming queen with a 'you're fired'. But then, it's all about Trump as well – he hired Perez to make a scandal in order to boost ratings and Perez came through. Like Perez obsessed with him self, Trump is obsessed with him self as well – in this case, ratings for Trump's show. Yeck!
Your right! The incessant whining by people such as Hilton has become tiresome. I have gone from having sympathy for there cause to just wishing they'd shut the f**k up.
I have the shirt Mr. Hilton is wearing. I wore it yesterday. I'll wear it again. In fact, it's my wife's favorite shirt of mine. Thank God I live in a country where someone like Perez Hilton, and someone like me can both wear the same shirt without ripping off each other's tiaras.
Great post, Mr. Franzese.
I listened to your interview on The Michael Medved Show a few weeks ago—very interesting.
As a result, I went out and purchased your recent book.
Great stuff.
We hope you'll continue to lecture and write—especially here at Big Hollywood.
Personally, I believe that Mr. Hilton's reaction was deliberate and planned. By doing so he brought more publicity to the subject then if he had kept quiet. So, will he appologize? I doubt it! He got what he wanted, even though it was at the cost of another person.
FANTASTIC (and kind of scary) ARTICLE!
Keep posting on here – you've got a way with words that makes me want to quit teaching English.
And Perez was such a wuss! Did you see where he didn't even have the guts to attend that conference and stand next to Carrie? Trump invited him as well but when Perez heard that Carrie was showing up as well, Perez went and hid under his bed. The wuss. The utter gutless, spinless, wuss.
I bet Trump is loving Hilton right now. There is nothing Trump loves more than being in the spotlight and Hilton have him another opportunity to put himself up on stage in front of a microphone. He'll keep bringing Hilton back as long as he gives him publicity he can use.
I saw him on Hannity and he was great. I echo your hope, Big Hollywood for the Capo!
I enjoyed reading your post here today Michael. Old School. I like it.
With all due respect, take *a good look* at that picture up above of Mario Armando Narcissisto and tell me if even *you* believe for one second that this clown is capable of comprehending one word of what you wrote let alone giving an apology to Carrie Prejean.
Nice try though.
But should we really be surprised that Hollywood has a place at the table for this waste of oxygen like this. The only people Hollywood shuns or blacklist are people of high moral standards.
To MikeO, he may have gotten more publicity, but not the kind that the gay movement was probably looking for. I agree with Mr. Franzese concerning this, but with people like Hilton out there it is becoming increasingly difficult to be tolerant of something that is against your beliefs, I am no mobster, but I would like to break Mr. Perez kneecaps. How did he ever become relavant in the first place and to whom is he relavant to?
Perhaps Mr. Perez would be more comfortable back in his native Cuba where there is equal non-tolerance for one's stated beliefs.
He reminds me a lot of the "Trolls" you find lurking around places like this! He is oh' so witty and funny and will tear you a new a**hole if you don't agree with him! That is "Only" if he is in front of a keyboard. He's real tough when sitting on his fat a** in his momma's basement. He is the type of person who has no problem acting tough in cyberland but wouldn't have the guts to help a little old lady being mugged in the real world!
In a nutshell, as you said, a gutless, spineless, wuss! I would also add coward.
And you already know why he didn't show up to the conference! He was afraid Carrie would kick his pansy ass into next week!
Mr. Franzese, as a resident of Las Vegas I would ask you to PLEASE RUN FOR MAYOR! Oscar Goldman was good for our city and I remember when the mob ran this town. Diplomacy is the continuation of warfare under other means and you sir are rather diplomatic. Scum like Hilton should be invited to shut the hell up and sit down. Nice picture of Miss CA.
I would like to see teabagee Perez Hilton publically showed up for the coward that he is.
YouTube clip of the year: an average guy (maybe an average gay guy) wearing a tiara asks PH if he'd like to try to take it off his head.
I doubt that Ms. Prejean would sanction this, but I'd still like to watch it.
Well Gee Mr Franzese now that California's Conservative and mostly Republican Supreme Court just today overturned the ban against same sex marriage, will you urge Miss California to give up her crown? Are you going to move to Utah? Aren't you afraid that soon your wife will divorce you to marry a turtle?
I would like to see Perez Hilton be a judge on the Toilet Dump Awards; everything that comes out of his mouth is pure BS.
Eeeech!! That is one repellent picture! My wife is preparing dinner as I write this and now I have completely lost my appetite.
Though that picture of Carrie underneath certainly assisted in restoring my appetite, but not for food.
All joking aside that is one of the most beautiful pictures of ANY woman that I have ever seen.
Oh Mr. Franzese,
I would give my left leg, (what's left of it), to be able to see the expression on that whiner cry baby’s Hiltons face if, and when, he reads your article. Priceless.
I predict his new pair of frilly pink undies will need to be replaced.
Beeeuuutttiiiffuull baby.
Not Over.
WeaponX!
Man…THAT is one ugly pi$$ed off kat.
No…no, not you Mr. Franzese sir…I was only refering to WeaponX's avatar…really…honestly. Heh, heh.
I'm leaving now.
Just sayin'
Not Over.
There's something refreshing about reason, restraint, and respect. Three attributes modern progressives seem to have lost along the way. Thank you Mr Franzese for offering Mr Hilton an opportunity to regain his honor.
Yeah, his kneecaps ain't worth it, however I'm sure there certain other parts of the anatomy he wouldn't miss. I find it disgusting that the fringe crazoids have gone after her like this – and it is encouraging to know that she is embraced by the vast majority and will have a bright future. Probably at Fox News.
Thanks for the observation, Micheal. Refreshing and terse!

I must be living under a rock because I've never heard of this overweight queen, "Perez Hilton", until this Miss USA thing. However, I may have an explanation of why this homo is so tweeked over the answer that Miss CA gave at the pageant. He feels that it's the government's duty to mandate (pardon the pun) that marriage can be between people of the same sex to validate his own twisted view of life and his own self-hate. He's also probably pissed that Miss CA can wear a bikini and high heels and most guys would prefer her smoking hot bod over his gooey, hairy, pastey white fat ass.
"In fact, I wouldn’t even consider breaking your knee caps for disagreeing with my beliefs, Mr. Hilton, and I’m a former mobster."
Um, I'm going to work really, really hard to stay on your good side, Mr, Franzese. ;^)
Spot-on, excellent column. Perez Hilton should never meet Mr. Franzese outside Giovanis Pizza on a dark night.
Fantastic article.
"…Supreme Court just today overturned the ban against same sex marriage…"
I just did a net search on what you just reported. Nothing came up.
Please supply any “links” to support what your saying.
Waiting.

False report on Proposition 8 being overturned lights up Twitter
Heh, liberals are so gullible, it's even easier than dynamiting fish in a barrel. Good job showing off your awesome intelligence there, Johnny Boy!
I love it sleazy Perez Hilton gonna sleep with the fishes, huh? Oh, I’m sorry that’s the ballerina Rahm. Great article a lot of fun perhaps the articles main theme is, where are the gentlemen?
I hope he didn't run out and buy a wedding dress.
Lying troll and a rump ranger. You parents must be SO proud…
Thanks for the up date kadaka.
I just had a feeling that the poster, Johnny Boy, was a poser.
My Bull Sh!t meter was hovering in the red.
And, to think, our founding fathers had to wait months for an answer from crazy King George…we can find out who’s nuts in seconds.
That’s why they hate us, and want us to go away.
Not Over.
After seeing that photo of Miss Perez, I cant take anymore of him… Anyone who would dress himself and appear in public like that probably has several mental issues. His opinion should be considered drivel and avoided like a week old container of milk.
I'll second that!
Note to Trump – Ratings, eh…it's all about the ratings is it?! Well get this, I won't be watching until Mr. Hilton is no longer judging…let's just say, I find his intoleration, intolerable!
It's the way of an Italian, they're born with it!
I'm betting he doesnt sleep in a bed….more like a nest of old newspapers and candy wrappers
Indeed, the mob is not someone you want to triffle with. . . unlike a certain administration that is floundering its way through its first 100+ days. *cough* *cough* Obama *cough*

A provocative eight-minute piece by the American News Project that provides some revelations about the extent of the Mormon Church holy war in favor of Proposition 8 and against gay marriage. The report raises some valid questions about the veil of secrecy with which churches are allowed to operate in politics while maintaining tax exempt status.
My reaction was how these internal Mormon documents and satellite transmissions offer up very clear evidence that the motivation of those opposing gay marriage in California was not the preservation of religious freedom but rather the contrary: imposing the theological views of the LDS Church and its conservative allies to deprive gay couples of the basic human freedom to marry.
The California Supreme Court need look no further for justifications for striking down Prop 8.

No, not so fast Johnny Boy, I’m not going to waste my time reading what you put out there. You already proved to be a lier once. You stated that, and I quote:
"…Supreme Court just today overturned the ban against same sex marriage…"
Now you’re on some kind of rant about the Mormon Church. Not the topic.
So, you get caught in a lie and just like your mentor Nancy Pelosi, you break and run in another direction.
Put up or shut up troll meat, where’s the article about the California Supremes and Prop 8 being overturned that you refereed to?
Not Over.
Mr.Franzese,
Reading your post and having seen you interviewed on TV, I easily envisioned you giving this stern lecture in person. Oh, how I wish that it had been delivered in person.
Yo! Johnny Boy! I got ya Johnny Boy right here…

Beautiful, baby, beautiful.
While you're at it, try another another nom de plume, Bobby D. nailed yours years ago.
Now I am intrigued….
Florida T is there a G rated version of the comment that you CAN post….
Now really
Rabid Raccoons are much more grounded and sensible individuals tham is Perez Hilton.
Don't you think.
It would be pointless anyways.
The reason we refer to them as "weak-kneed liberals" is that there legs like sharks have cartilage and not bones so the ball bat would simply compress what is there and it would reinflate.
This helps the liberals in navigating the circular logic that is their beleif systems.
What scares me is the thought process that says this is up to the courts because a few don't like the results. The idea of the constitution as a living document and the ability to find rights infrered and not implied is very dangerous because the lifetime appointments of judges give them so much real power. The whole point of the judicial branch of government is to be NON POLITICAL so that the constitution can be upheld. The unraveling and politicization of the courts has been the first step to the tyranny we are facing today.
Well, your wrong. Your supposition is that LDS must recuse itself from any political issue is not true. If the federal government wants go down that road EVERY ethnic church in the South will be stripped of tax exempt status IMMEDIATELY. You can't have it both ways. Was the "Rev." Wright politicing from the pulpit? Damn right he was, and in no uncertain terms. You pinpoint the second issue, the PEOPLE of CALIFORNIA said NO to GAY marriage. The people, as in "We the People" you seem to think that if the LDS hadn't gotten involved then 8 would have passed. I disagree, it's an unpopular issue in many corners. Ask your president, he disagrees with you also. There is no "separation of church and state" issue here, but keep digging. Further more the 9th Circuit is notoriously liberal, that's why this has come up again. The voters have spoken. I have no problem with civil unions, civil contracts between two consenting adults. Marriage equal one man and one woman, period. Please us heteros alone, stop persecuting us!
So do you think we will see pictures of Mr. Franzeze on Perez's blog with his usual sophisticated artistic embellishments.
Somehow I THINK NOT…….
Great Article Mr. Franzese. Is there anythiong I can do for you sir. How are the wife and kids. Any favor you need just ask.
Thank you Mr. Franzese Thank you.
Mr. "Hilton" is a foul-mouthed MAGGOT who should get the h.e.l.l. out of this country if he doesn't like our laws!!!
You know, this is one of the most reasoned, thoughtful discussions of this issue I have ever seen — and I say that as a "capital 'C' Conservative" who has a gay sister. I don't know what makes people gay. But I accept that there are gay people, and that they engage in committed relationships. My sister is in a very committed relationship, one which began a year after my first marriage, and is still going strong 16 years later. And yes, I attended the ceremony in Key West (what a party!), because it was an important event in her life. Having said that, I just cannot make the leap to put it on the same level as a "straight" marriage. Sorry. That's just the way I feel. When my sister and her partner visit, they are treated with respect and dignity, and they sleep under our roof because I accept them for who they are. Respect. Dignity. THAT is what that horrible hatemonger Perez Hilton doesn't understand.
May I suggest you google perez hilton and read his wiki page. It offers an insight into the mind, emotions, and spirit of this truly confused person.
Here is a gauge of Franzese's guile, shrewdness and prowess at negotiating a deal that can satisfy everybody, and the measure of respect he attained among his superiors in the Mothers And Fathers Italian Association: How many men have retired from "the life" without entering witness protection or a funeral home, or state accomodations. I can think of only two; Frank Costello (called 'The Prime Minister') who went into retirement after a failed asassination attempt, and Joseph Bonanno (was the first head of 'The Commission), and both of these men were bosses, who died peacefully in thier own beds. A caporegime who can manage this kind of career change is quite a good fellow. I've seen him on a couple of Mob-umentaries, and he tells a great story about learning proper punctuality in the borgata.
http://shermansmarch.blogspot.com
UM Perez take him up on the offer. I am just telling you. Really.
Mr. Franzese that was a great post.
Nicely put porchhound, I second the thought that tolerance is a two way street. Perez and his group don't get the concept and intend to force feed the issue, childish fits.
I may be wrong, but the question that Ms. CA answered was chosen blindly out of container of some sort, thus PH didn't exactly write that question for her alone.
Why should anyone even attempt to understand this fat freakazoid? FLIrishPM is absolutely correct that Paris Hilton (er, I mean Parez) is jealous about how a bikini-clad Carrie Prejean will turn more head than perez can ever dream of giving!
Mr. Franzese is one of those rare combinations of being well spoken and the kind of man who isn't going to take any kind of crap from anybody. "Mr." Hilton, on the other hand, is just crap. Thank you for the great post, Mr. Franzese, and please keep coming back with more of the same.
You're right, PH didn't write that question for her alone. But when he wrote it for "Who-ever" he never expected he'd actually get an honest, non-politically correct morality-based answer. Now because of his guided question most everyone in this country knows who Carrie Prejean is, and those who don't will look at the vid and ask "Who is that gay freak and why is he/she judging a beauty pageant?"
Now let's see you comment on the 70% of African-American voters who were in favor of Prop 8. 70% of one of the most solidly liberal voting blocs decided they didn't want gay marriage. It wouldn't have passed without them. Come on, let's see you say something about all those fine upstanding minority voters who thought what "that other minority" wanted wasn't important enough to give it to them. Come on, do it Johnny Boy!
No disrespect. I think Perez Hilton is – in all seriousness – appears intellectually challenged. Or psychotic. Just the squiggles he puts on women’s photos are weirding me out.
Oily's ID page shows he's following Auntie and CognitionDistant. Perhaps getting a post deleted here is part of the initiation into their tiny little group. Perhaps they're all together celebrating, pie is involved. It's not worth knowing the details. The comment as well.
Even that Republican Governor of California, Arnold, thinks that a matter of a person's rights should not be decided by the populous voting for the banning or the implementing of that right.
Personally, I think gay marriage should be made legal. Let's face it, it really is nothing but a legally-binding contract between two people, nothing more. Religious beliefs only become the "x-factor" in the controversy if the government forced churches to capitulate and marry gays in religious ceremonies.
With that aside, I don't know who the intellectually-challenged individual was who approved this Internet parasite Hilton to BE a judge in a show rooted in traditional moral values. I also think it was entirely unfair that this question was posed only to Ms. Prejean and none of the other contestants, of which almost all would have provided a similar answer.
Hollywood propped up this moron because they were afraid of his vitriolic approach to celebrity sensationalism. He has no journalistic talents, he is just a blogging version of the Weekly World News. If we stop validating idiots like Perez by giving them print space, he will fade back into the dark S&M clubs where the rest of the militant gay fringe crawl out from.
Even that Republican Governor of California, Arnold, thinks that a matter of a person's rights should not be decided by the populous voting for the banning or the implementing of that right.
YES!! Ducked it by a mile! Liberal Standard all the way, just can't bring yourself to admit "your own" are at fault so you blame anyone else. Good job, Johnny Boy, you performed exactly as expected! Excellent work!!
I appreciate your comments and your offer. I'm okay for now. The wife and kids are all great. Hope all is well with you, also. Let's remain in touch! — M
Couldn't agree more.
The economic is going through a little bump, so can someone tell me the current market rate on knee-capping? (I got a little extra in my envelope last month).
And am I expected to pay for travel and per diem?
The Donald's love of publicity reminds me of Don King.
Maybe they have the same hair dresser.
So let me get this right, we're going to take a lesson in civics from a convicted felon who cheated citizens and the U.S. out of more than $300 million?
Now I've heard it all.
Yawnnnnnn……………………….
Disappointing, isn't it? He should follow the democrat template of running for office or reelection after his crimes instead of working at making an honest living, right?
My point is that a lot of energy is going into this issue because people think that Hilton wrote the question directly for Prejean alone. Even Franzese writes "it was you, Mr. Perez Hilton, who posed the question about gay marriage to Miss Prejean." A more correct approach would have been "…it was you, Mr Hilton, who wrote the question that Prejean chose."
Yawnnnnnn……………………….
Yup, no shame, no passion, no honor. "Alright, you just go ahead and paint over my artwork. It's okay, I still got my spray cans, I'll just do it again tomorrow." No glory either.
Trump is a huckster and "PT Barnum-like". I have faith that 2 months before next year's contest there will be "noise" about whether Hilton will be back, it will become a media-fed issue and Trump will feel "pressured" to release Hilton. Every media outlet will compete for Trump to say on their set "Perez, You're Fired !!". Oh, sure, after this the gays will be rioting in the parks, ripping-off each others' tiaras………..it will be ugly.
As a gay conservative I know what it is like to be ostracized and excommunicated from the gay community. Trust me when I say I am OK with it. I have always found it ironic that the gay community who DEMANDS respect and tolerance, is indeed one of the most intolerant and disrespectful group of people in this country. It is Mario Armando Lavandeira Jr and his ilk who do more harm to set back tolerance for homosexuals than any homophobe. But let's be real…..this is a guy who has renamed himself after Paris Hilton.
Since this loser will never apologize for his intolerance and bigotry, this gay man will. I apologize to Carrie Prejean on behalf of Mario, Musto (who likened her to a transexual who needs a brain transplant, how classy), the media and the gay community. I applaud you for standing strong on your principles instead of cowing to some PC nonsense.
I'll conclude with just a few questions to ponder, hmmmmm?
Does anyone know who actually won the Miss America Pageant? Or does anyone even care, I know I don't.
Who did Mario vote for in the last Presidential election? I hope it wasn't that bigoted, intolerant, homophobic Barrack Hussein Obama…who is also against gay marriage.
Based on Mario's post pageant diatribe….Is President Obama a dumb bitch or a dumb c@#t? I'm guessing both.
Under "ObamaCare," will his much needed brain transplant be covered? Probably not, these people can't even run the Post Office. What a disaster is headed our way. He could always go to the country with the best health care in the world,……..Cuba!
You all have a great day!!
Passion can be found with reverend Phelps and the Westboro Baptist Church as they protest at the funerals of the brave men returning from Iraq. Sadly they blame the US and Homos for these deaths and upset the families of these brave means they bellow that it is God's punishment against these men and their families and their country.. Will you defend these protesters since they are made up of a group of "your own?"
I only post this because you are getting desperate and it is sad that you attack me seemingly from desperation.
But religion has no room for compromise at all – right? And can be used in an infinite number of ways. If you think that I should align myself with the Mormons and develope a hate for others then OK I get that. Should I then go and protest with Phelps also? And then do like that really religious bomber Eric Rudolph did also. And many Klan members belonged to the Baptist church also. And build a shrine to Jim Jones? Become a pedophile like so many Republicans are and who the catholic church supports? Or should I join John Hagee and hate the Catholic Church? If I had a daughter, should I tell her it is OK to bare her Breasts while in the company of a man with a camera and then lie about it when asked by a beauty pagent? And then speak on denying the rights of others while championing the values that I was raised with? Warren Jeffs is a certified heterosexual religious leader of the Momon faith. Should I petition the state of Texas to stop the religious persecution of this pedophile? Should I ask the Mormon church to baptize my dead family members into their church – You know – just to cover all the bases? I am sure that you can answer all these questions, since these people make up groups that you call members of "YOUR OWN." I mean if you want to show your passion – honor and glory – then you will surely respond.
That is why I feel religion does not work in a democracy. If it is banned in the Good Book then it should be outlawed and if it is written as being ok in the Good Book then I should be OK with that. Strange that their are so many different Divine interpretations of that Good Book with so many Divine Preachers seeing it so differently.
Imagine that – you being upset that I did not respond and garner the glory that you would heap on me if I had. Like that is important. Is that why you Cons need sites like this? Is that why you respond here. You people need to be fulfilled with a sense of glory that you can only find here with each other? Now that would be sad.
Should I go burn New Orleans down because Pat Robertson said that Katrina was God's punishment on those poor black peoples?
And that article that I read about the California Supreme Court overturning prop * was an archive piece that the Times ran. It fooled many people and was all over Twitter. It had a date on it and I looked at it but the day and month was May 16 but the year was last year and I did not notice that. So I apologize about that. I felt ashamed that I was not capable enough not to be fooled by a newspaper. So see I do have a sence of shame after all. Thanks for calling me on that.
How true. Guess I gotta get with the times. Up is down, good is bad, shameful is glorious, and virtue is filth. What a lovely world Liberals, sorry PROGRESSIVES have given us. Change we needed, huh?
Mr/Ms Hilton has really hurt his crusade by galvanizing opposition to civil unions. He is definitely the mental image many hold of gay people…flamboyant, in-your-face screaming wretches who garner absolutely NO sympathy for their cause. As a former therapist with several gay clients I never understood why both lesbians and gay men took on the worst attributes of the opposite sex: lesbians come across as the stereotypical macho, brain-dead neanderthals while many gay men appear as mindless, complaining, high-maintenance ultra-fems totally helpless in their environment. It is no wonder the standing joke in their culture goes something like this…"know what a gay brings to their second date????..A U-Haul "
You are right when you say that those of us who are gay and have respect for other people's views were embarrased for this pig. I even emailed him and let him know that as a gay man, he did not speak for me.
I never felt strongly about gay marriage one way or the other until Perez Hilton opened his trap. I now realize the importance of this issue. Marriage is between a man and a woman, anything else is, well… something else.
And your reply is a long-winded diatribe where you sling accusation as fact and make conjectures that have no connections based in logic or reality. And you call me desperate?
You may have noticed people have stopped replying to you, both here and that "torture" topic we were sparring in. It's off-putting when you make outlandish unreferenced claims, or with questionable and biased sources at best, and when they're shot down you just keep tossing up more. I've got a bunch of things in the other topic I was going to demolish, but the heck with it, you're not changing your method of "replying" any time soon. So, here's my final attempt with you.
This is your future. You will find things are not as you have been told, the world is not black and white. You will seek knowledge on your own, discover we live in a world of grey, where all things must be weighed by you based on the merits you yourself find in them. And then, you will realize we do live in a world of black and white, for there is what is right and what is wrong. You will not want to accept it, as the dividing line is jagged. But it is what it is, the truth. Once you accept the truth then wisdom may begin.
Mark my words well, for you will know them to be true.
Who would want to volunteer for transplanting their brain into that? Not only is it fugly (bear in mind this is being written by a guy whose nickname at work was "the Sasquatch"), but I'm afraid that the internal ugliness would transfer over to the new brain*.
*to head off any libtards: No, I'm not talking about the gay. That dude's got an ugly soul.
Totally agree; my friends who are gay are completely horrified by PH and are distancing themselves from him. They know he is hurting their "cause."
Holy-Cow-Funny!
HAHAHAHAHA Republican Governor of California. Now that is comedy gold!
Jeff, man you are brave. I get cr@p for being a pro-life woman {traitor to my gender don't you know}; can't even imagine what being a gay conservative is like. Be well! And a great day back to you! (=
"Warren Jeffs is a certified heterosexual religious leader of the Momon faith."
No, he's not. A leader of a splinter group, yes. A leader of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints based in Salt lake City, most definitely not.
Big, BIG difference…
