Ladies of the ACORN Video I Will Hire You
by Leigh ScottI just found out that the two women featured on the undercover ACORN video posted on our sister site Big Government were fired by the community organizing group. This is really good news. First, it proves that the ridiculously funny and unbelievable video is real. At first glance, it’s so over-the-top that one assumes it must be fake. Now, we have the proof that these women really were ACORN employees and not the most talented improv actors to ever live. Secondly, it means that these two women are now unemployed.
And I want to hire them immediately.
These women can navigate the tax code so well that they managed to gin up dependent child tax credits for underage El Salvadorian prostitutes. They provided detailed instructions on how to obtain a low interest, government subsidized mortgage for a brothel. They gave clever insight into laundering a pimp’s take of prostitute earnings into a campaign account for a would be Democratic politician.
I look at them, as an independent film producer, and think; “must hire.”
With these two on my side, imagine what I could accomplish. My tax credit revenue would triple. My financing schemes would abandon foreign pre-sales and network television deals and embrace government grants and subsidies. Bureaucratic and confusing union paperwork would dissolve in their capable hands. At the end of the first show, SAG and IATSE would owe me money.
Ladies, whatever ACORN was paying, I’ll double it! And I’ll give you gross points.
Joking aside (and ask yourself, is he really joking?), this little video tells us a lot. It’s not simply that ACORN is a corrupt and shady organization … we already knew that. That’s no more a revelation than the fact that Lindsay Lohan has some issues with the drinky. No, it shows us that the default mode of human nature is capitalism. There is no way around it.
These women were supposedly working to benefit their community. A noble and selfless pursuit. What they were really adept at is gaming the system. Just like an independent, scrappy filmmaker.
At the root of Communism and Socialism is the undeniable truth that there is always someone at the top. Capitalism rewards ingenuity, smarts, and hard work. Socialism rewards cronyism, manipulation, and collective thought. If the politicians in Washington really believed that we should all “pitch in” as their policies dictate, why wouldn’t those millionaires donate their federal salaries to charity? If they were really true believers they would live like monks, sleeping in their office and shopping at Goodwill. Instead, they’re eating Kobe steaks and buying fracking jets! Get real.
I’ve always been baffled by the fact that people who rabidly embrace Darwinism over Christian Doctrine don’t see Natural Selection at work in the political, economic, and social realms. That seems backwards to me. Shouldn’t the followers of Jesus, not Darwin, be the ones who push for all of us to be “our brother’s keepers?” I can understand how a Christians can interpret their beliefs to gel with Ben Franklin’s “God helps those who help themselves,” but I can’t for the life of me figure out how “people of science and reason” have adopted the belief system that they have.
Communism and Socialism fly in the face of natural law.
All that I can conclude is that the Socialists and Communists have selected their ideology as a means to consolidate power and money. They are averse to hard work and true entrepreneurialism and have found a shortcut to wealth and control.
Communism is Capitalism for schemers. ACORN is no different than AIG.
As a side note, I would like to further commend the two women in the video. We “typical white folks” get a sort of racist vibe from the whole ACORN thing, so I applaud those two African-American women for their treatment of the Caucasian pimp and his ho. I can only hope that white ACORN workers show the same respect for all the black hustlers and trick-turners who seek their assistance.
So ladies, consider me impressed. From one Capitalist to another, ready to work the system to our benefit, please consider my offer. We kindred spirits need to stick together.

I wonder, were they idealistic at one point, true statist believers thinking they were doing good work?
or, did they know all along they were enabling crime in the neighborhood they were supposedly serving?
I suspect, they knew, but as much as they should suffer the condemnation of the people they fleece, I would see these ladies all walk, if they could serve up the high ups who pockect the real cash, who game the system, who own politicians wholesale, who dispatch rent a mobs to bully and terrorize those whom they dislike.
Can't wait to see what happens today, as Glen was talking about another far more disturbing tape. I couldn't guess how they could do worse,.. unless they were talking violent crime this time.

Liberalism has always seemed to me to hold its ideals in a series of strung together paradoxes. From the ones listed above, up and through ones like opposing the death penalty yet supporting abortion. It's gotten so reflexive now that being a liberal only appears to mean hating anything that a conservative espouses even if it requires eschewing all rational thought.

Face it, the only people who would work for a group like ACORN are hopelessly bleeding heart liberals, who truly want to save the world, or they're in it for a buck. Since its safe to assume true bleeding heart liberals wouldn't support sexual slavery and underage prostitution, it's probably a safe bet they're in it for the money.

What I found funny about the Baltimore video is how wrong one of these ladies advice was. Right after telling Edward and Vivian that they can't claim a dependent who does not have a Social Security number, she tells them that they can claim at least three of the underage illegal alien girl-sex-slaves from El Salvador as dependents.
Maybe she remembered that guy she knows who can get fake Social Security numbers for the girls. You can't claim a dependent without listing their SSN.

When will it dawn on people the ACORN fraudulent advise on how to get a mortgage is the link to the number of home foreclosures that has put the economy in a tailspin. Even bigger question – when will network media cover the issue.
These ladies who were fired will continue to game the system. They will just be sitting on the other side of the same desk next week, if they have not already been re-hired elsewhere within ACORN or a similar organization.
Similarly, the senate bill to deny ACORN access to housing funds won't stop ACORN from continuing its operations. ACORN admits that at least 2% of voter registrations in the last election were frauds, but this is considered "negligible". An easy bet is that the fraud rate of 2% is at least an order of magnitude too low, yet they continue to operate.
The events of the last few days must not lull us into thinking that this many-headed hydra is defeated. ACORN's relentless attacks on the fabric of American society must be met with equally relentless exposure of their corruption and socialist agenda.
That's funny, but I just assumed that we would be hearing from them again later when they ran for office. I'm sure there are plenty of people who would vote for these experience and qualified "community organizers".

I suspect that the "I want to hire them" was primarily sarcasm, but I had close to the same reaction so I think it might not be wholly sarcasm.
Over on Big Government a lady giving a "counterpoint" said that these were videos of stupid black women being made to look even stupider.

Communism/Socialism is merely Neo-Feudalism – it was designed and promulgated by those nobility who had lost power and influence among the courts of Europe and a means to create a weak spot they could exploit and regain power. It has NEVER been about 'the good of the people' or a way for a society to succeed. It has ALL been about regrouping a small collective to have absolute power. THAT is why the Old World despises America: in America, a peasant can rise to heights of nobility by his own merit and talent, and prove that even among blue-bloods, you have cheap and slovenly and anti-social trash that on their own, would never amount to anything.

Here's how it works. The King (State) is supreme.
Beneath the King are the Nobles (politicians)
Using the tax system, the King (State) confiscates income from the upper income earner (key word being earner) reducing his/her living standard to a median then the uses the confiscated monies to elevate the lower and non income earner to that same median creating a single class of workers (serfs) over whom the nobles (politicians) rule. As in feudalism the original, there is a small, powerless "guild class" (the superrich and celebrities) who make a lot of noise but have no real power.

I've often wondered just why it has been that Congress has been so resolute in funding ACORN; complaints for years to Senators has come up with ridicule and disconnected statements midstream, no explanations anywhere from anyone as to why this group (under whatever permutation and name) has been so peachy-favored by Congress.
Imagine yourself and your peers forming a group claiming to be, say, "underprivileged" and petitioning Congress for, say, two billion dollars for nationwide "organizing". Most of us can imagine what would result…
But there's this group, ACORN, getting all this money every year, all this in-roading, favoritism, special-helps, no questions asked, air time, news time, t-shirts galore, transportation to any and all campaigns and political meetings anywhere they seem to want to go, housing mortgages without so much as an examination for accuracy and reliable documentation from anyone, yet there's Congress with the billions at the ready.
It is obviously been a process (and likely still is) by which a lot of crime is being done by flying under an intentional radar or "we don't hear/see you" attitude by Congress, who today is shocked, shocked I tell ya', that these videos capturing ACORN employee misconduct (to put it mildly) have surfaced.
I've asked my two Senators (both Democrats, unfortunately for me, Boxer and Feinstein) for years to stop funding ACORN (same with La Raza, by the way). Both have been utterly unavailable to respond to those requests.
This is hilarious. Neither government nor society realize what has hit them. A 20-year old and a 25-year old armed with nothing but guts, wiliness, vidcam, and Saul Alinsky got the Senate to cut off funding to this corrupt organization, and did it all on a Breitbart blog. Big Government, like Scientology, is going to collapse at the hands of millennial generation activists like O'Keefe, Gilles, and Anonymous.

Sec. Treasury Timothy Geithner was victimized by lousy tax workup several years ago(via TurboTax.) He undoubtedly switched to a different tax-assistance service. Golly, I wonder where he went… to get better tax advice? ? ?
Thank goodness Sec. Geithner went to a service that has offices in BOTH the NYC metro area, and the Beltway metro area – - to maintain continuity of service even though the family had to move 250 miles. So when the vetting process recognized his VICTIMIZATION at the hands of TurboTax, the natural question by the review committee was: "Well, do you have a better tax-workup service now?" Mr. Geithner could simply say, "Just ask the president-elect."
This talk that Sec. Treasury Timothy Geithner switched from TurboTax to ACORN, primarily in order to 'suck up' to a potential future boss, is simply more cynical devisive rumor.

I have always had an issue with gravity as well. Gravity states objects pull on each other equal to the inverse of the square of their distance. This is just too much. What if we made it tbe inverse of the cube of the distance. Think about it. Things will weigh less. Cars will get better gas mileage. Michael Moore wont cause the plane to tilt on the side he is sitting. This could be great.
