I only recently found out that, in addition to being a superb bomber pilot, Jimmy Stewart was also a Brigadier General.

I'd be curious to know how many, if any, current actors are veterans. There's got to be a Reservist out there, at the very least.

The original King Kong!

Now that brings back memories. When I was a kid some station out of NYC used to play King Kong, Son of Kong and Mighty Joe Young every Thanksgiving, and my mom and myself dutifully watched them ever year.

I'd forgotten all about that. Thanks for dragging me down memory lane.
