But if you ever do want to get an adult beverage, the Green Parrot down on the Square is a nice little place to hang out. Oh, and Paper Bear. If you visit that store, I shouldnt have to say more. Nuff said. I didnt drink a keg a day – largely because a lot of those mixers were all in AUSTIN ON 6th STREET…and I couldnt find a ride.

As it is though I met up with some great people and TX State has come a long way....when I was entering the anthro dept there, they only had about 50 majors...by the time i graduated in '89 it was up to 200 - now the anth dept has a Body Farm (if youre interested in getting into criminal justice/forensics, thats an EXCELLENT thing to have...)
