Media Malpractice in the Extreme
by John ZieglerAs anyone familiar with my book or either of my two documentary films would already guess, it is really hard for me to be shocked by anything that happens today in the once noble profession of “journalism.” However, when I simply tried to tell the story of the most recent saga of my rollercoaster broadcasting career, even I was truly stunned by the utterly dysfunctional and decrepit state of the formerly esteemed fourth estate.
This narrative is not primarily about why I am no longer doing a talk show at KGIL in Los Angeles (though that tale itself is fascinating and infuriating and necessary for proper context). Instead, I wish to focus on what transpired after I was told (at least partially inaccurately) by KGIL that they would be flipping the station to all music and that my contract would be paid out.
The radio reporter of the Orange County Register, Gary Lycan, e-mailed me for comment for a story he was doing on why I was off the air and whether it had anything to do with my association with Sarah Palin. I immediately responded that a Palin connection here was totally absurd, that instead this was part of a botched format change (KGIL only partially switched to music at first) and that I would like to speak to him. He never called me or sought further comment. Instead he proceeded to write probably the most ridiculous piece of garbage [see below] ever produced about me in an allegedly reputable (and supposedly non-liberal!) outlet.
Lycan not only played the non-existent Palin angle to the hilt (while including some of his own insulting opinions about why I have championed her cause, disguised as completely un-sourced “some said”), he implied that I had left my last show early for nefarious reasons when I had made it clear on the air I had a prior public engagement. He even finagled whether I will actually get married to my fiance into a major element of the “news” story.
Outraged, I immediately called the OC Register (for whom I have written numerous columns over the past couple years), and Jeffery Miller, the Arts & Entertainment Editor, graciously agreed to remove most of the journalistically indefensible material posted online. Miller also offered me the opportunity to write my side of the story.
After a few days to think about it (and after nearly everything KGIL promised in our separation agreement turned out to be a lie), I decided to take Miller up on his offer. I wrote an incredibly benign, “just the facts” description of what I actually saw take place in the bizarre final weeks at KGIL, and I submitted it to Miller for his approval. In an e-mail exchange I made it clear that I wanted the article both online and in the paper itself. He unequivocally stated the piece would appear unedited in that Sunday’s paper. Moments after he e-mailed me that my account was posted on the website, I received a Google Alert that this was indeed the case.
Just before that, my lawyer received an angry call from KGIL complaining about the content of my article. When I asked Miller how this was possible, he sheepishly (in an e-mail) admitted that he had given the article to Gary Lycan by mistake before publishing it and that Lycan had sent it to KGIL. Now I fully understand wanting to get comment from KGIL after it is posted, but to have Lycan be in the loop (when much of the article criticizes his work as a “reporter”), is a blatant and massive conflict of interest.
A little later, I noticed that, without any notification/explanation, the piece I had written had been taken down from the OC Register website. The next day Miller wrote to me (in yet another e-mail) that KGIL had laughably threatened legal action against them for publishing my version of the facts and that they were having their lawyers make sure they were in the clear. I told Miller that anyone with even a rudimentary understanding of the law could easily comprehend the ludicrousness of KGIL’s threat against the Register, and he agreed. I was told to expect a final decision at any moment.
It was not until the next day (a Thursday) that I finally got a voice message from Miller saying that the article would indeed be put back up online but he just needed to speak to me about it. When we talked he told me that the lawyers had concluded (surprise!) that there was no legal jeopardy for the paper in printing the article but that it would NOT, as previously agreed to by e-mail, be in the Sunday paper (it is important to note that I would never have taken the risk in writing the article without an it would be in the Sunday paper). He claimed that this was because the piece might have to be edited if there was a last second ad that came in but that he wanted the piece left intact.
My BS detector went off immediately and I told him he was lying to me and that I wanted to speak to his superior. Eventually I got a call from Rebecca Allen, who was immediately extremely and almost bizarrely defensive and sensitive. Apparently she wanted me to listen and not be heard, even though it was her paper’s breaking of a clearly written agreement that would burn someone who had simply taken up the paper’s offer to tell their version of the truth about a matter of public interest.
She scoffed at the notion that the decision not to publish the article in the paper had anything to do with advertising or editing, and basically admitted that this was their way of coming to a nonsensical compromise. When I simply tried to inquire as to the reasoning behind (or lack thereof) and the ramifications of such a decision, she abruptly and rudely hung up on me.
Perhaps the most patently unprofessional element of all of this is that she never actually said they were reversing their position or that they no longer planned (as they had stated just two hours earlier) to put the account on their website. But I knew that was the way it was going to turn out.
How pathetic is that? I just simply presumed that nothing other than personal animus (originating from me having called them on their cowardice and incompetence) would drive an alleged journalistic institution to go back on several agreements and decide not to publish a highly credible version of the truth. There was a time when what was clearly journalistically right and wrong (or at least the fear of looking completely silly) would have trumped all other factors at a reputable newspaper. Clearly, those days are gone forever.
You probably won’t be surprised to learn that the Register did not re-post my column. Up until after Allen hung up on me, there was still a cache version of the piece but that’s disappeared, as well. In a rich irony (considering my many on-air run-ins with the network) the only credible evidence left on the web that the article ever existed comes from this MSNBC version of the OC Register story. The MSNBC edition contains only the beginning and links to the now dead OC Register account. Here is a link to my website where it can be found in its entirety.
I want to make clear that the significance of this story is not that it happened to me (that is simply the only reason it has been told at all – because I happen to have this pathological compulsion to tell the truth even when it’s not in my self interest to do so), but rather because it is a crystal clear case-study on just how repugnant the rotting corpse of journalism (not to mention human nature) has become….
And just how rare and difficult it is for the real truth of any matter to come out in any significant way.

It's Saul Alinsky "politics as usual"…it's time to begin the *pushback*…
Journalism is long dead. So hail the one!
The O.C. Register is a "conservative" newspaper only by reputation. Their newsroom is as liberal as any other; it's only the op-ed staff that deserve to be called anything like "conservative". And since Ken Grubbs left the paper and Cathy Taylor took over, the op-ed page does not hew completely to either a conservative or libertarian philosophy. The people in the newsroom look at the op-ed people kind of like animals in the zoo: interesting to look at, but definitely to be kept in a cage.
Agree with the Wolf…
Jounalism in the US has sadly mutated into the UK model where social and political issues are now an advocacy concern. If you're a lib the Guardian is for you, if not- the Telegraph then.
And so it goes here with the MSM being a left wing advocacy forum and embattled talk radio and FOX being the sole expression of conservatism. Mr Ziegler certainly knew what to expect here- and got it.
So, true journalism is basically dead in this country; a few determined people try to be impartial but they are disappearing into the woodwork as well. Sad, but true…
I wouldn't have expected anything less. The majority of the "media" our country have very little if any interest in facts. They're more interested in how a story fits into their agenda, and if it doesn't fit, it's not reported.
Journalism in this country has gone the way of the Buffalo. The Main Stream Media isn't interested in reportage they're now just an arm of this Government. Thank God for Conservative Talk Radio, sites like this and each other.
God I HATE the OC Register.
Its a paper that should have been allowed to die a long time ago, but Freedom Communications (a Libertarian newspaper company) dumped tons of money into it to keep it alive and now our beloved (and marginally profitable) Colorado Springs Gazette (along with all of Freedom Communications) is in bankruptcy.
Freedom Communications is the LAST non hardcore leftists newspaper group, once its gone ALL of the newspaper industry will be full on Marxist
Really John. Who gives a crap. Are you in therapy? If not you should be.
I don't think you understand the concept of blogs, GolfBuddy.____It's simple… if you really believe "who gives a crap", don't read it.

Journalism is a term that should be heaped on the dust bin of history. At one time Journalism meant that more was to be included in the story than a mere reporter could deliver. Journalism from the root journal or diary as more popularly known was to be the musings of incredible thinkers on popular subjects of the day. The mere term journalist implies that it is the point of view of the person telling the story. Somehow we have morphed into tinking that Journalists are superior to reporters. Journalists only tell you the facts that support thier own view or "Narrative". It is opinion wrapped up in reporters clothing. At one time we knew when we were getting opinion. Opinion could be found on the editorial page and columnists submissions. Even a columnist had a fine line to walk. He or she had to have facts to back up thier stories and opinions. Now we have stories written before the event and facts are chosen after that fit the "narrative". If I never hear th word narrative in relation to a news item it will be too soon.
We have met the new journalist and it us.
What I got from John's story is how spineless and yellow the two "men" at the Reg are. I mean, they behaved like 14 year-old girls.
I always enjoy reading your articles, John. The question I have, though is this. If we are a more conservative country as recent polls have indicated, and ratings or circulaion continue to drop, why are we still referring to the "main stream" media. When is the money going to give out for bird cage liners papers and no ratings news shows?
FYI Rebecca Allen's e-mail is rallen@ocregister.com – feel free to let her know directly how you feel about her and the way she dealt with Ziegler.
There is little "jounalistic integrity" in the media anymore. I remember movies and TV shows about reporters from my youth, which hammered home basic concepts of reporting…check your sources, confirm what they tell you from at least one additional source, never print rumors or suppositions, label opinions as just that…opinions, not facts. These basic canons of this once proud profession are no longer adhered to, at least in my experience.
I don't expect the press to reflect only my views or values. That would be ridiculous, and a disservice to the whole concept of a free press. I do expect them to be honest in what they report as news, and to be as neutral as humanly possible when reporting on a story. And that, I'm afraid, is not part of the jounalistic landscape any longer.
Honestly, there are a ton of talented radio hosts who no longer have jobs in the L. A. area. I miss Joe Crummey, but I can do without the obnoxious John Ziegler, even though I basically agree with his politics. Who cares about his sex life and his father issues? Maybe he's being persecuted for being a bold journalist, maybe not.
Do you remember the swong the children sang to call the wicked angel the TOS Star Trek
Far to Go Far To See
Friendly Angel come to me….
Every time I hear Obama supporters talking I always get that mental picture in my head.

Poor little Johnny Ziegler! I love hearing you cry about this stuff.
I love this bit – 'When I simply tried to inquire as to the reasoning behind (or lack thereof) and the ramifications of such a decision, she abruptly and rudely hung up on me.'
'Simply' here no doubt means ' being a loud, rude and sanctimonious wanker'
Has it ever occurred to you that you get treated this was because you're an arrogant, spiteful d*ckwad. You'll never realise that though, and thats why I love you.
Whenever I worry if maybe newspapers going out of business would be a bad thing, stories like this come out make me think that unemployment can't come soon enough for some of these people.
Ladies and gentlemen do yourself a favor and read Infamous Scribblers and you will never take journalism seriously again. The so called noble history in this country is laughable at best and will suprise you to know that this kind of outright slander has been goin on since the birth of this country.
My favorite story has to do with Samuel Adams and the fact that his lies that were printed in the press were responsible for the Boston Massacre. He even later admitted to the fact that he was wrong to say what he said and felt extremely bad for what he had caused.
Another favorite has to do with James Franklin spreading lies about a priest who had discovered a way to inoculate people from small pox from a slave. He was relentless in his printing of lies about this man, even though he had scientifically proven that his method of inoculation worked. Even Benjamin Franklin lost a son to the small pox out of deferrence to his brothers insistance to not get his children the inocculation, even though he suspected the priest was on to something.
With these two examples it should come to no surprise that this proffesion is no less than a joke.
For what it is worth, every time I've had insider knowledge of a matter that wound up in the paper, the paper never got the story quite right and sometimes was way off the mark. I always figured that it was because most journalists are of average intelligence at best and don't know what they don't know. But with revelations about manufactured stories and staffers of online news sites labeling photos of unpopular (to them) politicians "as$hole.jpg" and worse, it appears that for every honest mistake there is an instance of deliberate abuse.
Journalist vs Reporter: is an answer for you John. Journalist are out to right/write their history. Reporters report was is going on as it happens. If you find a reporter out in the real world let me know!
Maybe the weed you are smokin' doesn't allow your brain to care about right and wrong.
I think it might have something to do with the fact Ziegler doesn't allow anyone to save face. But for me, it is refreshing to see someone who isn't willing to live a life in Teddy Kennedy's shoes of compromise. Have yours dried out yet, cjenk?

Boy you practically missed the entire premise of the article. The primary point he was making had to with personal anomosity and personal dislike of a particular person getting in the way of reporting. Whether or not you like Ziegler shouldn't affect whether you print a story you already promised you would. Like he said, one of the major reasons he wrote it had to do with the fact he was promised it would be run in Sunday's paper. That's why he's so pissed off.
How about this example: President Barack Hussein Obama II flying from D.C. to New York to attend a memorial service for Walter Cronkite on the taxpayer dime. Forget about record unemployment or casualties in Afghanistan due to the lack of helicopters (deployed in rescuing a NYT reporter). Could Obama's jaunt have caused him to be late to his umpteenth joint session of Congress address costing TV networks more revenue? If the panderer-in-chief has time to take a vacation from his vacation and find his first order of business is a golf game, then let's pile onto that debt with a jaunt to NYC to honor a… journalist.
Your juvenile comment couldn't have proved his point any better. In essence you're saying that you despise Ziegler so you can understand why they hung up on him and went back on their word. That's fine for polite conversation and all, but this had to do with no reporting something of journalistic value simply for the fact that you don't like the personality of a particular person. And like John said, this has not only become common place…it's practically the norm. How many stories are not reported or at least not reported accurately simply out of disdain for the subject? Again the major premise of the article was that journalism used to be about the truth. Whether or not the truth was coming from really likeable guy or a jerk should have NOTHING to with the search for the truth.
I miss your show. I thought you and P.J. worked well together. I would bug out on the last hour of Rush for KGIL and then catch your podcast. Me and my sister hope you land somewhere. Blessings.
Thanks for your well mannered criticism of the author. I hope that others take note.
John, dont feel too bad, the only thing the newspaper industry is good for is fishwrap! As for the radio angle,
about a month ago Laura Ingraham dissappeared in southern california, she used to be on radio-570 at 6:00 in the morning.
Sarah Palin needs to find a tea-party or a venue where she can rake Obama and this adminstration over the coals, the event in Washington on Sept 12th would be ideal!
Exactly this! Before you Ziegler even speaks you can tell by his smirk and manner that he is out for a fight, scoffing every second and being the first to raise his voice. Show me any video evidence of this being otherwise.
(extra points if you can find an interview where he doesn't mention "HowObamagotelected.com")
If this was coming from someone who didn't do this I'd listen to their point. But Ziegler always guns for a fight and gets what he deserves. Liberal-Media or no.
No one wants to help Ziegler because he's a dick.
JZ try to be back on KFI AM640 after John and Ken, we miss you!
Its obvious that most media outlets/journalists can no longer be trusted to tell the truth…THIS ADVICE IS FOR EVERYONE WHO WANTS TO ENSURE THE TRUTH WILL BE TOLD: Any and all conversations with "THE MEDIA" should be recorded (personally) and all video (live or taped interviews) should be videotaped (via a camera and/or cell phone) by a friend or third party to document the "actual" events. We must fight back and ensure the truth is told.
Umm, Laura Ingraham is still around, over on the right side of this page is a link to her site.
It's always entertaining to observe the slow-motion train wreck that is John Ziegler's career. The guy truly cannot hold onto a job for more than a few months.. Given his past pattern, which has repeated itself over and over, I wouldn't be surprised if there weren't more to the story as to why KGIL got rid of him without actually changing their format fully. Even more amusing is his insistence on burning every bridge he's ever crossed. Good luck with that!
Yes, it's speculation, but I also wouldn't be surprised if Ziegler were diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome. His complete inability to comprehend basic social skills, to recognize normal social cues, combined with an inability to understand nuance or non-dichotomies all suggest Asperger's-type behaviors. He's not conservative, folks–he's mentally ill.
Goof Booby
It's you. Why do people need to give a crap in order to go to therapy. Is that some new thing your therapist has dreamed up to help you with your bedwetting issues. Wow I hope its working!
And you are just a douchbag that has no clue of what you talk about. Apparently they did change the format altogether from what i have read elsewhere.Go eat yoursef Chip and stop being such an AS$BAG!!
Dear John,
I am sure that you will find a new place for displaying your talents. It will be a new stage to reveal how much those malevolent people fail, each time they try to throw you out of the game.
The paper is nothing more than a hack and cowards as well as absent any ethics for journalism. Sadly, much of journalism is dead today due to the liberal media bias flying around. They just don't get it. It actually hurts them as much as the citizen, who no longer gets the real news! Just more watered down kool aid!
Not hiring a person you dislike is fine for most endeavors. However, journalism is probably the most glaring exception where this can't be the case…that is if your primary purpose is a search for the truth. What happened here would be similar to a D.A. giving blanket immunity to a witness and then after the testimony saying "Well I didn't know you were gonna say you hated puppies and unicorns in your testimony. Screw that agreement…you're going to jail." And yes it is on that level because information was disclosed that may not have otherwise been. Information that Ziegler realized may cause him professional harm, but none the less was willing to disclose for the fact that he was gurannteed wide dissemination. Journalsim is truly dead if with it comes along the notion that whether I like you or not has a major influence on whether I distort the truth or outright don't report it.
Today's "jounalist" has committed suicide. He/she sold his/her soul to the 'progressive' devil….and now we must search for the truth that will once again set us free.
Then again, if you've ever seen John in an interview, you'd know that he tends to get shrill and defensive himself quite quickly. He's one of those people who are always expecting a fight, and react accordingly. If you compare his interviews to those by the major Conservative commentators of our time (i.e. Gingrich, Steyn, Krauthammer, VDH, Goldberg, etc…), you'll see an enormous difference in the way he handles himself. Maybe he was wronged as he claims, but he reminds me of the guy who screams at a cop, then complains to his buddies later that he got a ticket he didn't deserve. I'm not buying it until I see more about the story.
Why resort to base name calling? If there are legal or ethical grounds on which to make a point, then do it. But please be aware that individuals who think and reason see your type of post as pointless and a red flag: beware! Immature, Unreasonable, Name-calling Liberal! Here's a thought… Next time you read or post a comment that contains a pejorative, ask yourself: did I or the commentor really answer the question? Was the REAL issue addressed or did I just shoot down the messenger because he might be telling the truth?
John…hang in there and keep trying to tell America the truth. I'm sorry for what happened to you, but frankly, it's LA…what else do we expect from the land of weirdos? I know they don't see themselves that way, but trust me, the rest of the country does. Especially here in the heartland…they might as well be from another planet!
The left just keeps trying to shoot the messengers…keep dodging their bullets and don't let it get you down!
I sense so much frustration in Mr. Ziegler's words. I have read all of his columns and bought the Media Malpractice DVD. I hope he keeps the will and courage to continue we need him. The hard left wants him to give up and go away, they don't like scrutiny or honesty.
He'd be good guest on the Glenn Beck show.
I have a new concept for cjenk, refute the facts, if you can.
Someone mentioned how John "smirked" when giving the Palin interview, appearing to want to pounce on any remark to support his crusade. Welllllll, have we ever seen Keith Olbermann or Chris Matthews "smirk?" … and then there's John Stewart who ignorant libs believe is a journalist. Hey, how 'bout the biggest power behind the media… Robert Gibbs? Smirk??? LOL … He's not even subtle about it. He's condescending and pompous (and obviously "programed"). John just seems to be passionate about media malpractice – and he's got a lot of us "folks" who agree with him! At least he has the guts to be P.I. (Politcally Incorrect). Someone has to do it! You Go Guy!
Brilliant Chip, but you didn't address anything actually written.
Not really brilliant at all.
John whatever happens we will stand by you!
It's true, Shelli. Don't let anyone tell you you're just a crazy, addle-minded conspiracy theorist wacko. A nobody like John Ziegler, who is virtually unknown to anyone except a small band of wacko fans was indeed targeted by the Obama Administration. Rahm Emmanuel personally forced KGIL to remove him from their low-powered airwaves which nobody listened to. And yes, this is all exactly like Nazi Germany. I hope you've prepared well for the FEMA re-education camps, Shelli. And I thank god that your 3 teens have such an educated, well-adjusted, and stable woman for a mother.
Unless you end up on welfare and food stamps. Then we won't stand by you.
You wrote in the postscript on your web site that "the only person even marginally involved with this situation who has treated me with even a modicum of respect/honesty is, bizarrely enough, Rush Limbaugh."
What's bizarre about Rush treating you with respect? Because somebody else suggested syndicating your show in the same time slot as Rush? Normally I would expect Rush to treat you with respect and honesty anyway.
John,
If I might make a suggestion…Why not try talking with one of the guys with Alpha Communications and maybe try your hand at living in Oregon or something? You'd have a good chance of getting into a good gig, you could become an Oregonian local in no time, and you'd probably be better respected up here than Lars "Big Mouth" Larson.
Nice work, Ziegler. Three shameless plugs in your first thirteen words! Can't wait to read more from you.
John, you're not the only one who has a pathological compulsion to tell the truth. The truth hurts. Especially for those who think "truth" is a relatively term. It's even harder on someone when they have to tell their side of the story (which has cost me more than one professional relationship). You're a rare breed and you have to continue to push forward in the face of your nemeses because most of us cannot do what you do. But we will cheer for you, and support your efforts. Good luck and God bless you!
Hey- really miss you on KFI640 in LA- your show was way better than jonh and ken. I can't believe they drove you out. I know dozens of people who were addicted to your bold and reliably honest reporting. Weren't your ratings really good? Hope you land at another station soon.
Ummm… Crummey is still on the air, broadcasting from his suburban L.A. home. Hasn't left the area. His checks do come from a Phx station, but he's still in the area.
Did anyone notice the "send flowers" ad at the bottom of the article? Perhaps that explains Lycan's position on this matter, and what he thinks of John's career.
It's clear to me John is only getting more popular.
JZ ignore the vile and childish comments from the leftists (I know you do anyway!). I listened to you at KFI and KGIL and wish you luck to get on another station here in Los Angeles. How about KFWB?
I always enjoyed listening to you're outstanding insight into politics. You figured out Schwartzenegger before anybody else did. You busted John F'n Kerry when he made those pathetic remarks about the troops. You destroyed the stupid celebutards at Tooke Williams execution. I enjoyed it all. Keep up the good work and GET BACK ON THE RADIO!
You don't like capitalism either? Don't look now because I'm rolling my eyes and you hate that too. I don't have to guess what your take is on "You lie!"
Would it do any good to point out it takes two to have an interview "fight" as you say? So is it "defensive quite quickly" from media bias or "defends himself quite quickly" from media bias? Either way, don't hold your breath on "more about the story" of media bias from media who are biased.
You forgot to tell us your bowling score, Chip. How offensive you are being to people with disabilities. Outside of that, you are on a site pushing back against bias in media and you can't accept Mr. Ziegler has experienced any? How easy for you to never have been asked to compromise your principles or once you caved the first time it became easier?
Because we will be going to work to pay for those on welfare and food stamps to stay home and wait for the unicorn Obama promised. Can you feel the waters receding?
Clearly you haven't been paying attention, Brent. Glenn Beck disproved the FEMA camps. You need to give up on this conspiracy theory or your mother will think you are wacko.
When did capitalism become your exclamation point of exasperation? Cuba is nice this time of year but bring your own toilet paper or not. Remember, sharia law wipes with the right hand.
This is EXACTLY why many newspapers are dieing!
How foolish for this newspaper to not print all sides of the story, toss in a few editorials, and even point and counter point stories.
They could have dragged this out for a few weeks and sold some papers!
But no, they try to bury the story. They made an editorial decision to put out one side and close their eyes, and the eyes of their readers. This will NOT bring in new readers, but will instead alienate old ones.
The truth is, it is best for the paper to NOT take ANY side in any story EVER!
And, that is the real failure of the newspaper.
John, once again, the light you throw on these cockroaches are amazing. Keep it up, there are many of us on your side !
Really GolfBuddy. Who gives a crap. Are you in therapy? If not you should be.
It really doesn't take two to have a fight. There are endless examples, but one of the best is the Jon Stewart interview on Crossfire, where he went psychotic and began attacking both hosts as being the problem with the media in America despite them having said nothing to aggravate the situation. The last time Ziegler had some bizarre public spectacle (well, before the time he got mysteriously thrown out of a public forum), he got into an argument on MSNBC with that hot obnoxious chick (I have no idea what her name is), and before she said anything even remotely controversial, he started throwing out accusations about her and the channel. Now I'm not going to defend MSNBC about anything, but if they invited me on to promote something I was selling, I probably wouldn't start calling them names in the first 30 seconds (unless I was the kind of person who started fights for my own benefit).
Don't be too hard on Chip. He has Asperger's Syndrome and thus has no ability to recognize social cues or comprehend basic social skills.
Hey Brent
Obama is the reincarnated spirit of Benito Musolini.
I mean why else would he corrupt the bailout of the financial sector to rectify the damage done to the economy by Franklin Reines (who in 2005 mismanaged Fannae Mae so bad the accountants had to give an Adverse Financial opinon) into a power grab where the US government forced banks and insurace companies to merge into mopolositic benemeths were the US goivernment would become a majority or minority shareholder in those companis.
After all this is what FASCISM is pimarily about. The Third Way between Capitalism and Communism where corporations remain but the government owns them. That's right Brent just stare dumbly into the teleprompter as Obama tells you "these are not the droids you are looking for"
http://www.ushistory.org/franklin/courant/story.h...
OK I found reference to innoculations and James Franklin here. I am still a very credulous. They did not know what a bacteria was back then and small pox is a virus so there is no way they would have seen it. They certainly did not have the ability to weaken or kill the virus so innoculation to me seems to be giving someone the disease. Qutie frankly I don't think that would be a good idea, today. As to the slander issue it seems to me that the British clergy's abuse of free speech was partially to blame. So while I don't condone it, I understand.
Honest journalism is scoffed and mocked by the money-grubbers by the same order of magnitude that the gazillionaire, steroid sucking cocaine-snorkeling buffoons outnumber the genuine sport-loving professional athletes by a factor of ten to one. It is sad and frankly, disgusting. The media mutton that sold out to the Obamanites this past year are guilty of resurrecting gross and blatant racism. Those that wrote and reported embellishments and proliferated lies that greased the wheels on the skates Obama rode into the White House are in my opinion guilty of treason.
I love our country and would give my life in defense of the constitution. But it is truly demoralizing to know just how meaningless that is to the country's voting population now that it has become diluted by illegal immigrants and cultural deviates bent on destroying our lives, our liberties and the values that once made America the most powerful yet honorable nation on Earth.
If we do not stand together and stand firm against such tyranny America will soon be nothing more than a third-world cesspool of poverty and crime with the masses fighting over scraps and our wealth in the hands of a few anointed Marxists.
Awesome response!!!!!
Some people will resort to any depth of despair to achieve irrelevance. It's as if they perceive negative attention to be better than no attention at all. At least you have your golf balls (as if I really care)!
