I've seen wr1's type ever since I was on Usenet. There is a good chance it knows exactly what it is trying to do: spread "teh narrative" like a good little drone. There is also a chance it's swallowed the tale and truly believes it, but that gives these drones an excuse for their behavior.

Though you're right that wr1 is not too bright, if it thinks this sort of tactic will work forever.
