wr1, so Gore would've used the mad skills he learned as VP to figure out the impending threat and take action. I'm sure he would've learned valuable lessons after Clinton's administration let terrorists from the first WTC attack (see video above) go free and plan 9/11. Oh right, and that time (and that other time) when the Sudanese asked Clinton if they could give Bin Laden to him, and he said no. Gotcha.

In all seriousness, it's possible that Gore would've reacted differently tightened security. But the major failure in the government in the run-up to 9/11 was in the mid level bureaucracy (FBI memos going unread and such), not at the highest levels. In the intelligence world, you're always picking up hints of some impending operation, and you can only judge their complete accuracy after the fact.

How about you and I, in the spirit of true bipartisanship, bash the Church/Pec commissions from the 1970's, which destroyed the operations directorate of the CIA and handcuffed most of our intelligence organs. If you want to pick a single factor in the failure that caused 9/11, that's it.

And the FBI doesn't have jurisdiction on foreign soil.

What scares me most about obamas actions are that it shows; one he is clueless, but more importantly, that he truly believes he is untouchable.

And with the media falling over themselves to protect him, he may be untouchable.

I was following up on Golani's absurd "mental leap." (Sorry for the typo in my previous message.) Amusing that mine requires access to a parallell dimension while one that fits your prejudices doesn't. And by the way, it doesn't really matter when the 9/11 attacks were planned — it was Bush's administration that failed to stop it. If the lax screening policies were so terrible, Bush had eight months to change them. And even if the hijackers were already in the country, well, they and their boxcutters weren't already on airplanes. There is no way to place that blame on Clinton or Gore or — try as you might — Obama.

I honestly believe Obama wants to be KING, not president. The USA is a FREE society, and he will never be KING in a REPUBLIC (the USA is not a democracy). I believe Obama and his people are creating problems and taking advantage of existing problems to make them worse so that the USA will fail.

Obama sees a friend as anyone who will help him in his quest to gain his crown. A strong militay would fight back if someone tried to take over the USA, so he is reducing it and demoralize it. He sees them as the enemy. He also wants to start a "Civilian National Security Force" that is as strong as the military, and funded like the military. Remember when King Obama was campaigning he promised he would start one? What did Adolf Hitler call his?

Obama has shown his contempt for leaders of our friends in other free countries, and aligning himself with leaders of dictatorships. This tells me a lot about what his intentions are.

Obama knows who HIS friends are, and they aren't people in a free society. They will not VOLUNTARILY help him to become King Obama. You align yourself with those who you respect most. Obama respects getting what he wants at any cost.

I think Obama wants the USA to fail and be taken over. Obama thinks the ones who take it over will be so thankful for his help that they will make him KING. Then he can say, "MISSION ACCOMPLISHED." Now I understand why he couldn't keep from laughing during his 60 Minutes interview. He knows they are helping him become King Obama, and will be subject to HIS rule soon.

These animals are out to kill us. All of Obama's wishful happytalk won't change that. Remarkably for all the leftist nonsense about the poor, swept up lil'Muhmmads who's papers just happend to eb oppoisng US armed forces and to be out of order talk, they haven't been able to produce a single Gitmo detainee who is such an innocent. in fact, almost all of them (and may be all of them) have made clear to anyone that will listen that they are part of jihad and see the USA as a great Satan.

Only a fool looks at the world and sees it the way he wishes to see it rather than how it really is. We have a fool for a president. And even the Iranian rebuff to his imbecility hasn't stopped him. Instead of hope and change, let's hope for 3 1/2 uneventful years.

I made a folder on my desktop called Barackalypse. It's full of snippets of news stories, cartoons, and saved web pages like this one. I opened it it up the other day and there's just so much stuff in there that it's mind boggling, I mean I'm having a hard time keeping track of all of the BS that these people are doing. Forget slight of hand tricks, there's so many smoke screens and distractions it would take a centipede to pull these magic tricks off. I mean I think i know what the big picture is but to really define it? I guess I need to buy a journal or clear off my bulletin board and make some kind of map. Thanks for the work you do. I really appreciate it and I know that many others do as well.
