And yet so many of these democrats voted in favor of the Iraq Liberation Act in 1998, introduced and backed by the Clinton Administration. This act advocated regime change in Iraq- that is, getting rid of Hussein.

Were the democrats being lied to by the Clinton Administration when Al Gore was "playing on their fears" by telling the legislative branch about Hussein's plans for WMDs?

This Liberation Act was passed, and became official US Foreign policy. It passed at a time when the Senate and Congress were Republican controlled- so you have your answer.

This also puts the lie to your mindless mewling that the Republicans gave Clinton no support on any issue.

And which prominent senate Republican was that? Where did they say it? Who reported on it?

I agree 100% the best way to deal with this is to weed out the BS if someone is cursing and spewing trash PLEASE DO NOT ANSWER THEM!!! I know it's easier said than done as I too have engaged the spammers. I have to admit it can actually be fun to throw an intellectual bomb onto the Huff post or MSNBC and I do it on a regular basis. The big difference I have found is that us conservatives usually throw out a fact or two that Liberals would love to forget like how Obama said no lobbyists or the fact that he has the most corrupt administration since Nixon. On the other hand the things the other side says are usually based in little or no fact whatsoever and usually come with the use of expletives and graphic description of what they would like to do to Bush and Cheney.

Are you out of your mind…or were you 12 when Clinton was in office?? There was lots of cooperation during Clinton's term. Remember Welfare reform? Remember a balance budget…Pres. Clinton/Republican Congress?? All conservatives thought he was soft on defense, but libs always are so that was no surprise…he did gut the military which really proved to be a awful and treated attacks on us like it was a police problem. Each side spends their time trying to destroy the other side…then it was too bad but Clinton destroyed himself.
