HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANDREW BREITBART! + ‘24′ Live Blogging Tonight at 9pm PST

It’s true that what God gives, He also takes away, and Andrew’s legendary 20’s are now long gone. And I mean long. Gone. I know this because last night I was at a secret celebration in a secret location with people whose names rhyme with Karl Grove, George Boros, Bill Mates, Warren Muppet, the Dali Bama, Rush Scrimshaw, Steve Bobs and other Masters-Of-The-Universe, as they welcomed Andrew into their fold.

 

Now that he’s a media titan, doesn’t it behoove us all to wish him a Happy Birthday – and to really mean it?  I’m kidding, of course – Andrew is the greatest, the center of a million friends, and I know you’ll join me in hoping this is the best year of his life.

The only flaw he may have is that he doesn’t watch enough TV.  So, in order to address Andrew’s one media blind spot AND to celebrate him, I am today launching the Andrew Breitbart’s Youth’s Memorial 24 Blog.

We’re hoping for a sponsorship from the annoyingly named Ruth’s Chris Steak House.  Otherwise we’ll just go with Big Hollywood 24 Blog.  We’re not quite sure how this is going to work, but we’ll figure it out together.  After all, it can’t be any more confusing or ridiculous than the plot-lines get in the last few hours of each season…  I’ll try to start and then update the post, in kind of an homage/rip-off of Dave Barry’s groundbreaking work on this front.  If that’s too difficult, I’ll jump into the comments and see you there. There are lots of great 24 blogs, but this one will be ours, woo-hoo!

I enjoy watching television to make fun of it…so be forewarned that politically incorrect comments are most welcome, and any actors appearing in 24 have put a target of make-funnability on their own heads…
