Will you idiots get over this ridiculous obsession with Saul Alinsky?? The guy's been out of the mainstream political scene FOR YEARS! Who the hell CARES! What proof do you have that obama is a "student" of alinsky? First off, as far as I know, they've never even met! So what if he freaking read alinsky's book. That doesn't prove anything. And his 'rules' for radicals aren't even that partisan. They're just general vague 'rules' that LOTS of people use, partisan and otherwise. You don't think right-wingers ever use these "rules for radicals"?? please…

Just wait til they start their temper tantrums! It is coming.. little NeoCOMs…they just want what they want and are willing to to do anything to get it. Spoil frickin brats! Now that will be a hoot to watch! Best comedy of the year is happening before our eyes. They just think we are too dumb to see it. Absurd indeed. I'd rather be living more life than being tied to the grapevine just to stay up with the punchlines.

Does anyone remember that scene in Star Trek IV The Voyage Home, the scene where Spock and Captain Kirk are riding on that public bus in San Francisco and Spock acknowledges the books of Jacqueline Suzanne (from our antiquated century, 'cause they're from the future) as "one of the greats"? And he was serious?

That's what I tend to think about Saul Alinsky and his work today. He's been elevated into something he and his work are not and it's only because the Left, who elevated him far above reason and merit, lack greatness or the ability to value greatness.

So for them, it's: "Alinsky, great, and, Limbaugh, stupid."

They just miss the great altogether by focusing on the pedestrian.

I am thinking that Alinsky's book, RULES FOR RADICALS, is going to top the list of titles that the Left wants destroyed, burned in effigy or otherwise denigrated to all heck in 2012. January 2013 is going to be so sweeeet. The Left is gonna' be damnin' Alinsky, damnin' him all to hades.

Rules for Radicals confirms a lot of things I suspected were actually codified by the American left: 1) A willing double standard. 2) The joining of the fight, no holds barred, with no plan for what comes after victory. 3) A promise of compromise that is immediately welshed on when the other side comes through. 4) Massive ad hominem attack and use of sensational inflammatory rhetoric. Reading the book has been a great experience. It has validated my sense that 40 years of radical chic has indeed been a load of crap.
