What can one say? Bening's married to the guy who made a movie about the Russian Revolution that was longer than the Revolution itself, and almost as dreadful. She went one for two on "Bugsy." She did a great acting job, but she also met Beatty.

It's not her acting abilities that are the problem, Ken. Same with Sean Penn. Team Oscar is also a very talented film bunch. Their most serious problems lie elsewhere, outside the Golden Bubble.

I am still trying to figure out why it is that we allowed these "Americans" back in the country. What happened to the idea of aid and comfort to the enemy. Americans are fighting and giving all even for these "actors". I guess in Hollywood it is OK to bite the hand that feeds you.

What do you expect from a group of people who can not make a living being themselves. They have to pretend to be someone else to survive. And they call themselves "artists". Give me a break! I guess my grandchildren are artists. They are pretty good pretenders. The real artists in Hollywood are the make-up and set people, not the spoiled brats that recite lines written by someone else. Getting paid a lot of money does not make you wise.
