You're exactly right in your analysis. Wish we could get some wealthy conservatives together and form a new studio- where the military could be heroes again, and muslim extremists could be accurately portrayed. But I suppose they'd get muscled out of the theaters, and have to go straight to dvd. I have avoided the box office repeatedly the last couple of years, when I knew the plot was anti-America and anti-Bush (when isn't it)? I saw a few flicks, but not many. Your DiCaprio's, Redford's, Penn's and their ilk have just about totally ruined the cinema experience for me.

This sounds like fodder for TV, not the movies. Everyone has seen all the pictures on the news. But TV is always looking for a story that can end in an hour. If it could be told from multiple POVs. the climax would turn on the Captain's decision to forgo negotiations and to use force instead. It has all the makings of a great story. But hostage stories in the movies need something more, like Iron Man.
