THANK YOU FOR THIS INDEPTH INTERVIEW!

This is a MUST SEE film.
Saw it w/ my sister on premiere opening nite at Santa Monica 3rd St Promenade (7pm show) and had the pleasure of having a question./ answer period afterward w/ Jake, Norman Powell and Gary Sinese. What a surprise that 2 of the Army/Marines from the film were in the audience as well (thank you for your service guys!).

Spread the word about this personal and compelling film.

Thanks again for this interview. General Petraeus was a Godsend for his leadership and job carried out by our troops. As Jake said, "He had the perseverance and the strength of character to take the slings and arrows that came with asking for them." Amen. The success of the Surge was amazing however, I will never forget the way this American hero was attacked in ads, in major newspapers, in our country, by those on the left during that most difficult time.

Shameful is an understatement.

The concept of "embedding" is not alien to the corp. In Korea, training the Korean Marines, troops were embedded to the platoon level working with squad leaders and platoon commanders. The Army, as I remember & have read, sent "command groups" to battalion level & interacted and taught command principles to the company level. Some of this was a matter of scope & size, But later combat action clearly illustrated that the closer you are to where the rubber meets the road, the greater your chances of success. And that is what seasons your units : success..
