Members of the Hollywood community have signed a petition to have Roman Polanski released from jail. When is the Hollywood community also going to demand the release of 58 year old rapist Bruno Vece?
On January 31st 2009 the past finally came back to haunt Bruno Vece who has been jailed for 20 years for sexual crimes he committed decades ago. Bruno Vece, of Loram Way, Alphington, had been found guilty of raping an underage girl in the late 1970s.
What Martin Scorsese, Woody Allen, David Lynch and other Hollywood elites need to know about Bruno Vece is that he has built a new life since he committed these crimes over 20 years ago; he’s a new man with a new family and now it has been destroyed.
Bruno Vece needs Hollywood’s help.
The jury had unanimously convicted him after the woman told them how Vece was an intimidating man who, when she was a child, warned he would kill her if she told anyone.
Bruno Vece is not a famous director and that’s his downfall. Yet Roman Polanski is no different than Bruno Vece and thousands of other sexual predators that are out there now starting new lives while their victims live in the pain of a forced past. Shame on Hollywood for not helping Bruno Vece and other child rapist in the world that need their voice.

I understand that Mr. Weinstein is going to give Phillip Garrido a three picture deal.
I had a buddy growing up who could make a great pb&j. He was jailed for posession (not of child pourn, which would probably have been better for him, but LSD). And he was really good at Pac-Man. I say he should be freed from jail too!
Before Polanski, I knew that the chasm between myself and Hollywood was wide. But after Polanski, I am now seeing just how wide it is. Man, the distance between my morals and Hollywood's is so vast that the Grand Canyon is a crack in the sidewalk by comparison.

Hollywood is just a bunch of self indulgent, narcissistic idiots! They worship themselves, and their self made images. They do not even see the hell that young girl went through. They don't even care. It would make them quit looking at themselves, and look at the suffering of that young girl. They will not do that.
I wholeheartedly agree. Huff Post had another column by Bernard Henri-Levy defending Roman Polanski. As usual, the crime is minimized to suit the needs of his defenders. This would have never been tolerated in the Hollywood of the 1950s.

Everyone who signs this petition is signing his or her credibility death warrant. Whatever other causes, legitimate or not, that they endorse will be dismissed outright. Whenever the average American, no check that, human being, sees that one of these asses are supporting something, they will say to themselves, "Is that Sean Penn? Oh hell, turn the channel honey." That this has become a cause celebre is disgusting commentary on the depravity of contemporary hollywood.
I wish someone would create a site that lists the people who signed that petition in Hollywood and the projects they are a part of. Then the rest of America can give their opinion on the subject via our wallets.

For years now, the Hollywood crowd has been complaining about the "McCarthy-Era Blacklists". Now, thanks to the bizarre solidarity with the likes of Roman Polanski going far beyond mere friendship, These same Hollywood types are going to end up BLACKLISTING THEMSELVES. It would be really funny if it weren't for the disgusting crimes involved.
No, no. The Polanski situation is less about rape than it is about sodomy. The pro-homosexual Hollywood set wants sodomy to be a normal, accepted practice in America and that's why they stand up for Polanski. They also are on a less obvious campaign to mainstream pedophilia.
It seems that when you really care about someone and respect their accomplishments, you become blind to whatever horror they might have committed, even overstepping one's bounds of seeming sensibilities.
Roman Polanski took advantage of a little 13 year old girl, rerpeatedly raping and sodomizing her plain and simple. She was not CAPABLE of giving permission for these acts. In fact, she said NO, she was AFRAID, she was INTIMIDATED. And she was taken advantage of.

Not to defend his actions, but a charge of statuary rape for a 17 and 16 year old is a bit different than drugging and raping an unwilling 13 year old.

What i find funny is that Sean Penn is on the list to free RP, but made a movie called mystic river where he plays a father whose daughter is raped and killed. Then kills the person, who was his friend, that he thought killed the daughter. Now that is total fiction but probably what any parent would want to do in the real world. I have not been to a movie theater in over fifteen years. I do not purchase DVD's or music videos produced bt these cretants in Hollywood. I'm not the slightest bit surprised that all these elites have more of a problem with the police than with the rapist.
