NBC Goes Vile: Jimmy Fallon’s Band Welcomes Michele Bachmann With ‘Lyin’ Ass Bitch’

The video above confirms that the National Broadcasting Company’s house band for the “Jimmy Fallon Show” serenaded a sitting Congresswoman and presidential candidate with more than a few notes from Fishbone’s “Lyin’ Ass Bitch.”
What a cruel thing to do, and it’s the last thing you’d expect from someone like Jimmy Fallon, who does come off (or used to) as a pretty decent guy. Michele Bachmann was a “guest” on Fallon’s show and yet he and his house band sucker punch her with “Lyin’ Ass Bitch”?
Unbelievable.
Actually, it’s not.
The game is rigged and has been since the beginning. Candidates today are expected to go on Late Night as part of the presidential ritual, but the outcome more often than not is something like this. Democrats receive respect, Republicans get grilled, gotcha’d and humiliated, and Obama gets his boots licked.
No doubt some misguided leftists will try to compare this to Michelle Obama getting booed at NASCAR, but she wasn’t set up to get booed and she wasn’t booed by her hosts at NASCAR. Bachmann was obviously set up, but because it’s now acceptable to attempt to humiliate and denigrate Republican women, even with the use of the word ”bitch,” don’t hold your breath for those outraged by the NASCAR incident to say a word about this.
This is also a political move on NBC’s part, a way to undermine a candidate by turning them into a joke. They might as well have put a “kick me” sign on her back.

Come on. We all know Jimmy is nothing but a sock puppet. He didn't have any say in that choice. Not before and not after. He just does what he's told.

I apologize in advance, and completely agree that civility is critically important. I don't support anybody insulting anybody. But a Fishbone reference? Any attention give to the most criminally underappreciated band of all time has at least some value. Hey, at least they didn't play UGLY or Cholly.

It appears Fallon is just as much of a whore of the Left as the rest of the late nite hoes. What is harder to understand is why they are so blind to the fact that if Obama gets re-upped, they all get flushed down toilet just like the rest of us.
Michelle Bachmann can hold her own! That being said. The Dems of today are not interested in the truth at all in any way shape or form. They are willing to say and do ANYTHING to anyone not just to embarrass them, but to destroy them. I was under no delusion that he was a conservative or even that bright but he seemed to be one of the normals.
i have never heard of this "song." it just reinforces my view that music has deteriorated into a classless nothing. I doubt Bachmann ever heard of it either.

Bachmann chose to go on the show. Fallon has an audience of a few hundred thousand druggeed out college kids. What did she expect to gain by going on? Was it classless? Maybe. Was it a bad idea for Bachmann to go on the show? Definitely
I'm more bothered that there is a song whose title contains profanities. I've often wondered how deejays like Casey Kasem (no stranger to profanities in private, certainly, if you've heard his recording sessions) feel about having to read such titles on their shows.
Personally, I don't think anyone running for president should go on any of these shows, and I don't think the sitting president, whomever it is, should either. There should be a certain dignity to that office and playing in this arena only diminishes it. Clinton led the way with his sax playing.
Maybe I'm being naive, but I'd like to think Fallon probably didn't even know about this. He's been considered one of the more balanced late night hosts for a while, and something like this wouldn't do a thing to help him keep that reputation. It would be bad for business. He may even be upset at the band over this.
Then again, I'm probably being naive. Hollywood folks tend to disappoint more often than not.
Just one more act to show how far our society has fallen,we have lost all sense of civility and are going to get what we deserve and are getting exactly what we have brought upon ourselves.This is a reflection of us as a whole and we will reap what we have sown.

I still do not understand why conservatives bother going on shows like this. They should know by now they are going to be set up to look as foolish as possible. if they go on these shows, they should be prepared to give it back to the dim bulb lib host in buckets.

I suggest that all those who are outraged by this monumental lack of respect contact NBC. I went to the "Contact Us" section of their web site and told them they were classless and crude and that I would not be watching this show again, not that I made a habit of it anyway. I also told them I would be contacting Fallon's sponsors to let them know my feelings. Now let me see, who is the sponsor of that Fallon commercial where the cute little kid throws cereal at him?
I doubt Bachmann has heard of it either. The song itself is almost thirty years old and one of the band members (of Fishbone) wrote it in reference to a cheating, gold-digging ex-girlfriend…which only proves The Roots are stupid as well as classless for playing it.

I think it's genius to play a joke like this on her, because Michele Bachmann, like the rest of the GOP presidential field, is an insulting joke on the American people. I can't believe I'm getting thumbed down because I said I liked the artist who wrote the song in 1985 and I'm happy they are getting exposure. If you consider rock music a form of art you will respect the contributions that a group like Fishbone has made. They were among the first to combine George Clinton-esque funk, ska, reggae, hard co punk, jazz and straight ahead rock into a party synthesis. I didn't defend the Roots use of the song or the Roots themselves.

•She said that 30 percent of all doctors will leave their profession under Obamacare; not true.

•She also claimed that the president’s policies have led to the price of groceries going up by 29 percent.

She got what she deserved.
Grow up people. Bachmann's appearance on an ENTERTAINMENT SHOW was a PAID appearance. She was there to promote her book. And what did she expect from the former host of the spoof "weekend update" on Saturday Night Live?
