Intellectually they might have somehow convinced themselves that Mother Earth is in some sort of man-made peril, but deep down inside where the truth won’t be denied, these liars know they’re lying — know that the “green movement” is all about a sinister political agenda to put them in the position of insect overlords in charge of we rubes who stubbornly refuse to let go of the idea that Marxism is a bad thing.
This isn’t true for all of them. Ed Begley Jr. walks the walk, and there are everyday tree-huggers scattered throughout America quietly attempting to make work a sustainable lifestyle. You can smell them from here. But most environmentalists are lying liars who know they’re lying. Because if you honestly believe man is destroying the planet, that the apocalypse is nigh, you prepare for it. Most coastal elites are Global Warming believers and yet Global Warming, we’re told, will make the oceans rise to the point that will someday put much of the coast, especially Manhattan underwater. So why aren’t coastal elites moving inland? Why aren’t they pulling a Lex Luthor and buying up all that cheap property that will someday be the new coast? And why do they continue to burn fossil fuels, enjoy air conditioning, and otherwise consume? Because deep down inside they know what we know: it’s all bull shit Socialism disguised as nonsense.
People who believe, truly believe that an environmental apocalypse – be it through increased temperatures, a rise in sea levels, or super-hurricanes — is imminent, act as though it’s imminent. They don’t live in big, fancy, air-conditioned homes propped precariously on the side of the Hollywood Hills and purchased through the dividends of an unnecessary energy-burning, landfill-filling industry. They don’t run up incredible electric bills. They don’t purchase second homes large enough to house Michelle Obama’s entourage.
However, after an “awakening,” courtesy of former Vice President Al Gore’s wildly inaccurate propaganda-horror film, “An Inconvenient Truth,” James J. Lee believed.
Let’s keep in mind that “An Inconvenient Truth” is not a work of fiction. Well, at least it’s not presented as such. Al Gore’s Academy Award-winning documentary is not “The Day After Tomorrow.” Hollywoodists, using the mighty propaganda power found in the sound and fury of the modern day motion picture, brought a Vice President of the United States before the world to inform us that man was killing the planet.
And yesterday, someone who took that film at its word, who took Al Gore at his word, acted on it.
James J. Lee might have been crazy as Ed Schultz at a Glenn Beck rally … but he believed. And if you believe, truly believe in Al Gore’s doomsday scenario, it’s not hard to convince yourself that going Jack Bauer — employing extra-legal and violent methods — for the greater good of Gaia is a moral and even a heroic choice. A better example might be John Brown, the fanatical abolitionist who committed horrible crimes in the noble cause of freeing the slaves. But at the time, slavery was a very real evil. Al Gore’s doomsday scenario is not.
Not for a second do I believe that Al Gore or anyone involved in the creation of “An Inconvenient Truth” wanted or even imagined that someday someone would strap on explosives, walk into a building with a daycare center, and take hostages in the hopes of terrorizing a cable outlet into creating more programming similar to “An Inconvenient Truth.” Nor do I believe that they — or anyone — is responsible for lunatics who take political messaging to a violent extreme.
But Gore and Co. are consciously and purposefully using the most powerful propaganda device ever created to spread self-serving lies in the hopes of scaring us into voting for the kind of government that will give the elite more control over our lives. And so there’s simply no getting around the fact that had these people (and their media minions) inspired with the truth instead of a lie, yesterday’s tragedy might not have happened.

No, Al Gore lives on! He lives on every time Greenpeace seizes another oil rig. He lives on every time another of his disciples engages in enviro-terrorism. James Jay Lee made a mistake Al Gore would never commit. He actually heard, processed and truly believed what the environmentalists had to say. The talk show host, the production company, and the particular network were all pulled into court for wrongful death and complicity. Does this ring a bell for anyone?

But I will have to disagree with you on one point: this tragedy could have still happened even if this disturbed person hadn't latched onto the eco-lies of "An Inconvenient Truth". He might have just pledged himself to some other cause, real or imagined. Troubled people are still troubled people.
Even so, I am sick of this alarmist entertainment posing as "pseudo science" that Gore and his ilk parade around. Recorded human history has only existed about 3000-5000 years, right? The changes they talk about in their models took thousands or millions of years to affect the changes they claim are happening now. How are they sure that this is not some normal, cyclic pattern the earth goes through?
As smart as we humans think we are, we are constantly being shown that what we think we know is wrong…until it's proven that the thing we were wrong about is actually right, five years later. My argument is that most global warming nuts don't believe it's a crisis. My proof is that if you compared this to, say, an asteroid hitting the earth, or a plague, all these rich liberals would be dumping every penny they have into a solution, and living modestly themselves.

Do they itemize and take tax credits and put their money in tax shelters? What about Biden or Obama who told us that is our patriotic duty to pay more taxes? Did they seek any deductions? Did they put put their money in tax-free municipal bonds in order to avoid the IRS?
You know the answer as well as I do. They don't want to raise revenue to benefit the country, they want to increase the burden on those who produce in order to control them.

As most of you are aware, the GW argument has nothing to do with the environment. It is a ruse to excise yet another tax on the people.
Recently something prompted me to go back and watch Frank Zappa's testimony before Congress regarding the censorship of pop music lyrics. You'll remember that in the 80's Tipper Gore went on a crusade to clean up the music industry and to put warning labels on records.
During the testimony, Zappa and Al Gore spoke directly. What I never caught while this was going on (I was about 14 years old at the time) was that Gore's solution to the problem was a TAX! It's right there on the video. My conclusion is that anything that Al Gore is involved with is just a ruse to excise another tax. Watch for yourself:

I think the liberal mind considers their is a hierarchy of truths, so if a lower level lie, like pretending to know about science, is exposed, the higher truth, a sense of moral superiority, superecedes. That's why socratic dialogue doesn't work with them–they are not troubled by logical inconsistency or tactically determined principles.
In their heart of hearts, they do feel inadequate and crave salvation. They know they skipped the part of life where a youth becomes and adult and takes responsibility.

I actually encountered the one earth worshipper who earned my respect. I was at a stoplight behind a light pickup truck. When the light changed, I accellerated at the normal pace and wasn't paying attention and got close to the pickup in front of me. His truck was underpowered due to a natural gas powered motor he put in, and he accellerated very slowly. He had a bumper sticker about emissions hurting some eskimo tribe.
So far, not notable, But the guy felt I was getting too close so he pulled over to the side of the road so I could pass. He truly walked the walk with his underpowerd truck, was polite, and didn't use slow driving as a passive agressive tool like most liberals do. If a man is willing to make a personal sacrifice to his beliefs, however wrong they seem, and doesnt try to force them on others, he has truly earned my respect.
Given that criteria, he remains the one liberal who earned my respect.

Folks with no kids say death of a pet is the same as death of a child. Now my dog died when I was a kid, and my mom has had many pet dogs die over the years. It is truly sad, and these pets are loved. They are always a fond memory, a smile on the face when we remember them…
However, death of a child is a trauma no parent ever forgets, ever fully recovers from. They will never be the same, and the lost child will be one of their thoughts on their deathbed. They will tear up when talking about it 50 years later. It just doesn't compare, and I wonder at the ego of those who presume to devalue the pain of others. I have not lost a child thus far, thank god, but I have seen what it does–what the normal human response is.

There's a lot more going on with Gore than just the money. Besides himself, what else caused Gore to lose the 2000 election? Ralph Nadar and the greenies. Nadar got just enough votes to sway a couple of electoral votes and tip it in favor of Bush.
I believe his real goal was to cement the greenies into the permanent democratic coalition, so the democrats never have to worry about that again. That's why he's been spoon feeding them exactly what they want to hear.

Some people deal with tragedy by doing what ever they can to preserve life, even if it is just a cat.
They'll just let it die a quick death in the news cycle. "Move along, move along…nothing to see hear. Go back about your business."
Yeah I guess, but devoting manpower to look for a cat when I'm sure there are better things they could be doing is silly IMHO.

Yeah I can't remember the last time an Oil rig exploded. And now two in a couple of months. in an area Otraitor wants drilling stopped so they can send the rigs to Brazil to make Soros money Hummmmmm.I still say the first one was sabotage. I also still say we will be fighting for real for our freedom before the Traitor and Chief is through.
It does make one wonder, how many people have taken their own lives in homage to Algore, but we've never heard the stories. Who wouldn't want to kill themselves after watching one of those 'Life After People' programs?!
