Don’t be fooled by the self-effacing humor or Gore’s willingness to engage in gentle self-mockery. As the leader and symbol of this socialist-wolf-in-sheep’s-clothing movement, GE/NBC understands that Gore’s popularity can only aid in the passing of legislation beneficial to GE. And Gore’s “30 Rock” enablers also understand that the more appealing he is, the more appealing his leftist ideas seem…
“Gee, why would such a nice guy want to hurt America?”
The Left will argue, “Come on, it’s funny, it’s harmless…”
No, but it is effective. And in its drip-drip-drip way, relentlessly so.

Does anyone really carw what propaganda the Obama/GE/NBC cartel disseminates? We applaud Mr Nolte for staying on top of this- but this is SO old paradigm '90's style message control. 12 million people have already hear Mr Limbaugh expose 'secret' e-mails showing the lies and cover-ups the 'climate change' community passes as information.
Not to mention the fact that God makes sure it snows every time Algore has a global warming conference…
So let the Hollywood Left gnash their teeth and beat their breasts while trying to sell this DOA stiff called global

Ha, what a laugh, Flourescent bulbs! Of course you have to recycle everything, throwing those mercury containing bulbs away is illegal in some states! I was dismayed to find the previous renters had used them in the bedroom, so I looked up on what to do about them. I'd have to drive out of my way just to recycle the single flipping bulb. I'm holding onto it until the other one goes out, but if it breaks before then I'll have to call in professional cleaners to get out the mercury.
Good-hearted but omitting so much information to make it worthless. (and then the preachiness and self-grandizing and demanding that the government take care of it with laws, argh!)

There are many undecided minds on the question of Climate Change. Everyone who comes down on the right (correct) side of the issue, that is, that environmentalism is an extremist religion, is another person who will vote more intelligently. Of those who saw the embedded video, there's no guessing how many viewed it uncritically. It's our job to encourage the critical thinking skills to question this propagandizing.
It's worth the effort to get the word out, particularly to the undecided. We must use all tools at our disposal: Satire, refutations of the dubious science the true believers employ, logic, exposition of the underhanded methods they us and the leftist ideology they believe, and also pointing out serious mistakes environmentalists have made for years.
The push is on. It's crunch time. Let's do what we must to stall this movement.

I mean, whenever something is broadcast, it takes energy to do – where does that energy come from? So, by his being on TV, he put how many tons of CO2 in to the air? Not that he'd fly his private jet or ride in a limo…no no, I'm sure he flew coach on a commercial airline and rode a bike to the studio.

You know I didn't have much of a problem with NBC and GE's blatant Green propaganda night of television until Al Gore started telling me we needed to pass laws and policies through collective political action on a large scale.. That's when it started to creep me out a bit as targeted mass consumption proganda.
As for Gore, he's like watching a man desperately hanging on for dear life over the ledge of a cliff as his feat kick and scrape blindly for a foothold. Yet the cliff keeps crumbling beneath him under the weight of his own fradulent premise that is Global Warming. Hang in there Al, when the glaciers all melt maybe you can just plunge safely into deep water.

I would prefer to see them get 49 votes in the senate. That would stop the left with a filibusterer, and not give Obama the campaign slogan that it's all the GOPs fault for everything.

We'll sure EdSki, but he started all this because he genuinely believes in Global Warming as though it were a religion, and therefore will never relent in his efforts to promulgate the cause no matter how much evidence science produces to refute it. And if he adopted this cause solely for the fame and fortune, then he's even more sleazy than I give him credit for. (Oops, I just noticed I misspelled feet above, duh.)
I have no evidence to back this up, but I've always thought this was a reflection of his loss in 2000.
Besides Al Gore himself, what was the main reason he lost the election to Bush? Ralph Nader. The greenies bolted from the democratic coalition and ran Nadar as a third party. And though he got very few votes, it was enough to cost Gore the office.
That's when he started going balls to the walls on global warming. My theory is, in order to do penance for the Bush election, he spent the next several years cementing the greenies into the democratic coalition.
Remember, the democrats are not a cohesive party, they are a coalition of various factions, pro-abortion, big labor, big trial lawyers, civil rights, etc. No matter what the democratic party does, they are confident they won't lose them.
So he's been barn storming the world, giving them all the red meat they want, in order to make sure the democratic party never has to worry about that happening again.
You're all 100% correct. We've been conspiring for three decades now to recruit the world's scientists to our cause, which clearly isn't to be cautious (in other words, conservative) in acknowledging our impact on the environment, but rather to bring down capitalism and install a socialist Utopia.

People have resources and they have goals, they use those resources to reach those goals. And incentives are why people make the choices they do when allocating those scarce resources.
A politician's resources are donations (and if elected) and the power of office. Their goal is obtaining and retaining office, from which they can replenish their resources. There fore they will do what ever they can, with what ever they can, to get elected, or to help their fellow politicians get elected.
Votes are their ultimate goal.

I have never wartched "30 Rock", and never intend to.
I lived in the 90290 zip and know some of the movie stars, first hand. Most are not the kind of peope you wood want to call freinds. In fact low life is a fitting term.
Well, he's certainly not the only one out there hoodwinking people. There's an article in the U.K.'s Guardian today (I really need to figure out how to link these sites), where apparently somebody hacked into the email accounts of the University of East Anglia and its institute on climate research and is now distributing them on the Web. These accounts include several emails where scientists are outright saying to each other that they've manipulated the data to "hide" the evidence of a decline in global temperatures. The science/political/media deception is now out for everyone to see, as far as I'm concerned.
On a side note, I was happy to see that my prediction about The Office (which is the only thing I watch on Thursday night NBC; I never got into 30 Rock) was borne out, and they threw a small bone to the whole Green Week thing and then moved on. At least some shows maintain a sense of artistic independence.

No the best reveal was that the "greenest" co-worker was the most disgusting, person you want to emulate the least be anywhere near. Sends the message that if you truely want to be "green", you will have to make those around you green as well, green=nasuea. Overall, I liked the epsiode except for Gore's statements to "tell your legislature to take action now!" statements that peppered his otherwise humorous spot. They were so jarring that they really took me out of the moment and let me know that this was activism disguised as an attempt at comedy.
Hey, you should ahve seen the LA smog when it still existed. Nowadays you just get smoke from the burning hills. In the sixties when pollution was bad the wings would turn black during landing and take-off. Now the air in LA is a thousand times cleaner. That is real progress. CO2 is not a forcing agent. Prove that is causes warming or has ever caused warming. Earth is billions of years old and many many times in the past CO2 has been more than 4000 ppm (today is around 350 ppm). At multiple times of CO2 of over 4000 ppm the planet has plunged into extended ice ages. It is easy to ignore historical evidence by narrowing your window. And nothing makes for a narrow window better than tricking out the data to match your theory like they have been doing at CRU
