ELEMENTARY EPIDEMIC: 11 Uncovered Videos Show School Children Performing Praises to Obama
by John NolteBig Hollywood has already posted a couple disturbing videos of young school children singing/speaking praises to President Obama, but when eleven more dropped in our email box it came as quite a shock. What seemed like an aberration now appears to be a troubling pattern.
Maybe “epidemic” is a better word.
Each one of the videos below is creepier than the last because the further down you go, the younger the children — brace yourself for kindergartners – except for the last and most disturbing video, which you have to see to believe.
Young captive minds, easily influenced, eager for direction, enlisted into a cult of personality focused on an individual who, other than being the first black president, has yet to accomplish anything of significance.
But Obama’s skin color has nothing to do with this. Does anyone interested in retaining their merit badge for intellectual honesty really want to argue that Condi Rice or J.C. Watts would’ve spawned a dozen-and-counting tribute videos?
This is about brainwashing our children into Leftist identity politics. Sure, the schools can argue that they had some kind of parental permission — which, if true, is somehow even more disturbing — but who even considers doing something like this with young minds? That’s a rhetorical question.
There was some guesswork, but to the best of our ability the videos run from oldest to youngest, starting with high schoolers. We list the name of the school and the date the video was posted. From there, if it could be found (or a confident guess made), you’ll find the schools’ website, followed by the original title given to the video and any notes added by whoever uploaded to YouTube.

If you think the Nobel committee jumped the gun… Days after the 2008 presidential election Ludlum Elementary in Long Island petitioned and won the right to have the name of their school changed to Barack Obama Elementary. Watch this and ask yourself if the Nobel committee’s rationale couldn’t be that much different than the students questioned in the news report.
The video below isn’t of students singing but of a woman named Janelle Kirton performing the school song. The song doesn’t mention Obama, it just relies heavily on his platitudes, but pay special attention to the school decorations inter-cut throughout the video.

….these children will cry and whine and expect some level of gov't to bail them out of a jam…..they are not competitive on the world stage and are only qualified to be gov't bureacrats….thanks teachers union…..
Garbage in and garbage out. Where are the parents of these children? If you agree or not, public schools are not the tools of the state. However, the dumbed down society think teachers are baby sitters instead of educators of reading, writing, and math. Hitler Youth comes to mind as I watch these kids try to please the teachers that are proxys for socialism. I am glad my kids attend a private school that leaves the political party at the gates of the school yard and teaches the Constitution and Bill of Rights as a protection from this form of government. Marx would be proud of our Department of Education, too bad I can't seem to share his view.

I was trying to show it's not just the schools. It's the entire cultural milieu: books,magazines,toys and games,clothes all geared to children.
And thanks, inattentive parents who foist off raising their kids onto government.
Thanks to the parents "too busy" to look at their kids' homework. Too busy to engage their children in conversation and find out what they are thinking, and why they are thinking that way.
The teacher unions ARE evil, but aren't you folks using them as a catch-all? Forgive me, but you are sounding like those government-protected classes who blame all of their shortcomings on the big bad white man.

Public School has not been about reading, writing, and math for A LONG TIME.
Public School has been the bastion of liberal, mullet-cultural, political correctness, and other such BS for decades.
I have a mid 20's son who I pulled out of public school after 6th grade, and private parochial school and heavy parental involvement was still too little, to late. He has classical blame everyone else, self esteem trumps self discipline and results, and an entitlement mentality.
And before you say it, YES, I was very active and deeply involved in his public school period. I begged and pleaded when his report card was ENTIRELY incomplete's that he should be held back and was told "Mr. Montgomery in this day and age we simply don't do that it is too damaging to his self esteem". I got NO support from the school. They WOULD NOT hold him accountable for not doing his work.
My second round of children are ALL home schooled, and very sharp, very social, and very, very much holding the right values.
I am not at all surprised public school is trying to create a horde of drones to mimic the liberal talking points.
If you wish to check out the source, check out the politically correct, over the top liberal curriculum at EVERY major school of Education in the US college/university system. chock full of gender studies, and other such pure BS that has NOTHING to do with teaching our children to win in the global economy.

There is a growing movement in this country that the media doesn't want you to know about. There are more and more people homeschooling for academic reasons than religious. We pulled our boys out of public school when they were in 5 & 3 grade because the school refused to work with me or be accountable to me, but I was supposed to be accountable to them. My only regret is that we did not do it sooner. My oldest is now in college and a very independent young man. This past election was his first. The homeschool community has fought an uphill fight against the teacher's unions and the dreaded "S" word (socialization). My kids are so well socialized that they can carry on an intelligent conversation with anyone be it someone younger than them or an adult. But, the liberal-run-government-funded-welfare schools don't want children like mine to exist because then they can't be controlled. Because these children actually know how to think, analyze and question instead of just accepting as gospel anything that their teacher's spew.

There's a few different reasons for that. Other nations have been developing middle classes for the last 40 years or so, which gives rise to disposable income, which is used to improve local education. And many nations only test students in some schools, while ignoring others, and not even worrying about the kids who don't attend school at all.

Many years ago it was revealed that the United States was the only "Westernized" country not to have on-going, required courses exposing just what propaganda is. As a stark contrast it's been pointed out that even Russia (USSR) had curriculum related to recognizing propaganda when students saw it. I have a part time job grading essays of college students. This is where we see the fruit of years wasted in K-12. One or two papers out of 50 is well-written. All the rest are just unbelievable. Scant punctuation, if any; poor sentence construction (they write as they talk or worse), little imagination, no sense of organization. This is a supposedly a quality college. It's not just passing kids up the ladder who don't quite make it, it's a curriculum that no longer teaches basic literary skills, and ensures kids know them before being passed to the next grade. Everyone wins a trophy with their D's and F's.

My (extremely white) daughter attends a predominantly black school, and I can assure you they ARE being taught math and science. Music is an important form of expression (and helps kids become better at math!) and should always be taught in public schools. I don't see the problem with people who supported Obama DURING the campaign continuing to support him AFTER he was elected. As you said, these ARE predominantly black schools, whose students overwhelmingly supported Obama and still do. 97% of voters in my city voted for Obama. Should that overwhelming majority now remain quiet, while the opposition stands in front of the national megaphone? I think not.

Hey, I have that job too (as a TA)! And you're right, of course. The one thing I've noticed is that on every exam about the Revolutionary War, the students will have no clue in what order events transpired, grammar and spelling is atrocious, etc., but each and every one of them will know that "Crispus Attucks was the first black person to die in the Revolution." Shows where the priorities of some schools are. I don't want to hate on public schools too much; my mom is an elementary principal, and I'd like to think the one I came out of had some pretty good teachers. But apparently, for every one of those there's three or four others like the ones mentioned above. Oh well, we can at least take comfort in the knowledge that those teachers and many of their students are downcast today and angrily asking themselves how the voters can be so dumb. Yay for crushed liberal spirits!

I think those videos are sad. Especially the last one. The adults that are so proud and feel so validated by the election of a very ambitious and manipulative man, are basically pathetic. The emotional investment that they put in a person they will never meet is mind boggling. In the end the children are left with a whole bunch of nothing. I happened to catch a rerun of the old miniseries V this weekend. You should watch it. TAlk about scary, the Aliens behave just like the DNC and Barack Obama is the Progressive movements Supreme Commander.
No doubt this is creepy, elevating the president in a cult like worship. Just from a practical standpoint, it is using valuable resources (time) inefficiently. Teachers and students are using up their limited time for this stupidity. We are losing any semblance of a competitive edge to other countries and instead of concentrating on teaching solid math, science, English skills, a fundamental understanding of history and civics, they are doing this crap. Stop wasting your time. We have saracificed time that we can't make up. And the thing is if we taught solid and progressively more demanding course material in the principle areas of math, science, English, history and civics, kids would have a better understand what made this country great, not reverence of the government and our political leaders, but individual responsibility and freedom. Our economic future should be in high-tech industries, like communication and information technologies, energy and material resources, and yes, medical research. I'm of the opinion that if lose low-middle tech manufacturing to other countries that is fine, if we replace those jobs with high-tech manufacturing and services that can be exported. We are not preparing our children for that future if they are wasting time promoting the multicutural collectivist government central to all freedom mentality. Our economic freedom should be based on high-tech entrepreneurial free enterprise, not this crap.

No offense to those who want to see this as indoctrination, I would partly agree….But if I am a black kid in an inner city school, I find great inspiration in the fact that Barack Obama was elected president. I would like to share with you how the Public Schools work to indoctranate our children.
Several years ago our 7 year old son was having difficulty getting to sleep. This was very unusual for him so my wife and I started asking him questions to see what the problem was. We were in for a real shock!
Unbeknown to us he had watched an "R" rated movie in his class that was full of very scary things, blood and foul language. We as his parents did not watch "R" rated movies and even did not watch "PG" rated ones. He was so deeply troubled by the experience that he started to experience nightmares for the next several weeks.
We made arrangements to meet with his teacher to complain about such an event for such young children. She told us that the movie was brought in by one of the students as a reward for the class doing well on some assignment. She said she did not "sensor" what the movie choice was. We asked that our son be excused from any future events that did not meet normal parental guidelines.
A few days latter our son came home very upset. The other kids had been teasing him at school. The reason for this abuse was because the teacher announced that the class could no longer have rewards for their good work because Dustin's parents had complained. This obviously upset the other students and our son was ostracized for a false accusation!
Our third child was Home Schooled (Home Schooling was just starting when he was born) and did not have to endure such abuse by a teacher.

Home schooling in HS is the hardest, but the rewards you will reap will be HUGE. I salute you.
I teach HS sunday school at my church, and these kids are thirsty for truth and leadership. They spend WAY TOO time, money, and energy on stupid pointless tranitory crap that will mean less than nothing in mere MONTHS but will affect them the rest of their lives.
Children are our most precious treasures and blessings. We need to treat them like such – IMHO

I am very grateful to God that I was born in America. In America we are free to exercise our religion. Worship whoever we choose. This is a right I believe that was bestowed upon us from God and not from man. I agree with you in part that Conservatives need to choose their battles wisely. However, I would agree with the inner city school pride of Obama's election had he been a product of inner city schools. To my knowledge, he attended private schools his whole life and received the benefits of being raised in a white environment. I might contrast that Clarence Thomas would be a better role model based on his background and achievements. Sadly, he is not one who is held as an example to these children.

I saw this HUGE when I was in night school getting my degree in 2000 to 2003. I was forced into "Group" work and 40% or more of my grade was based on the "team" or "Group" papers and presentations.
OMG there were some dumb-bunny's I would not let on my team in a million years. And when I was forced to take them (thank God not often) I just carried them and they got good grades.

If these kinds of productions are permitted in the classroom without challenge then why can't religion be taught also? These kinds of programs do not stand up under Brown v. Topeka or any subsequent Civil Rights action taken by the U.S. Supreme Court and for any local, state or even the federal government permit their existence should be sufficient to prosecute parents, teachers, administrators, School Boards, local politicians, state politicians and federal politicians. These types of programs are blatantly illegal, immoral, unethical and have no place in public education where tax dollars are spent.

Why do you people make such a big deal out of this? Kids do things like this for all presidents. I remember the hoopla over Presidents Carter, Reagan, and Bush Sr from when I was in school. It was probably just as 'bad'.
I suppose we should teach kids about presidents, but not the people who actually hold the office? How many of your kids can name the supreme court justices? Your local senator? The governor of your state? Do they also know what platform the governor ran on? What the major issues were? Who they ran against?
If you really think it's an issue of indoctrination, would you agree then it's also wrong to require kids to say the pledge of allegiance with the words "under god" added to the original text every day? It's the same problem – indoctrination, but since it's something most of the posters here would agree with then it's different, right? Really?

As a Conservative, I certainly question who is driving the students to make/engage in these performances. IF the students are coming up with these concepts completely on their own without prompting from adults in authority positions, I have less of a problem with the activity. But if adults are planting the seed, planning, or scripting these activities, that seems to me to be over the top and unacceptable.
That said, you also have to keep in mind that ALL of these minority children have likely been told at some point in their lives (if it's not implied every day in some way) that they will be limited by their status in America (by those like Jeremiah Wright, Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, Bill Ayers, etc, etc, etc) and that they'll always wear the scars of victimhood. So for them to see someone rise from nothing like Obama, it truly is a feat to be heralded and I sincerely hope it does erase the perception of limitation in America.

This doesn't surprise me at all. I took AP English in high school, where it was all essays, all the time. We wrote three or four analytical essays a week for the entire school year (and I really hope this sentence makes it through the censors). By the time I got to college, it was second nature to whip out a cohesive essay. I took a drama course that very first semester, and one of our assignments was to attend a school play and write an essay reviewing it. I woke up half an hour before my class, took a shower, got dressed, and wrote my essay in about 10 minutes, then booted it to class.
I didn't think anything of it, but the next day, I attended lunch across the street at the LDS Institute building. My drama teacher sought me out there to tell me that my essay was excellent, and one of the very best he'd received in any of his classes. I hadn't put any thought into it at all, and it was ridiculously below my normal standards, so needless to say, I was shocked. Unfortunately, that wasn't the only time in my college career that something like that happened.
It's been a long time coming, my friend. I have nothing but pity and sadness for the poor children who are herded through government-controlled schools, such as these we see in the videos. This kind of propogandistic indoctrination in multi-culturalism and socialism will only serve to create millions more wards of the State when they are older. Marx, Lenin, and Stalin would be so proud.

I attended a very similar event for one of my children at their public school that sang the praises of GW (then sitting president). I did not get my panties in a wad. Both of my kids started elementary school in PG County in MD (look it up – the change in demographics says it all between 1980 and present day – it is a nightmare now). I was educated in the same public school system until 1980. The difference in what I was taught (back when it was a real education) and what they attempted to ram down my kids' throats was one of the most shocking "learning experiences" of my life. We ran away to southern AA County in MD when my oldest was in fourth grade and my youngest was in kindergarten.
My oldest is a productive, thinking, hardworking, contributing citizen with a well-rounded education. My youngest is now at one of the most prestigious military colleges in the country and will commission into the Marine Corps. I shudder to think what would have become of these free-thinking, intelligent minds had I not been vigilent and proactive.
Every single acquaintance that I tried to keep in touch with from back in the "hood" who had kids on the same age level as mine has kids in jail, on welfare, or dead. But all hail Obama!

I'm proud of Obama as a Black man who was able to become President of this country. I'm proud of my country for finally overcoming its habitual race prejudices enough to elect a Black president. However, I totally disagree with Obama's policies and so I'm not being "supportive" of him. What's wrong, Julie? Is dissent no longer the highest form of patriotism like it was when Bush was President?
The kids generally don't know what they are saying. So what this really shows is the bias of the teachers and administrators. They think it is 'OK' to be biased in favor of a leftist president, yet these same teachers and administrators would have been the first to scream 'bias' if their students had engaged in organized praises of Bush.
The key conclusion to be taken from all of this is that with the election of Obama, unprincipled and unthinking leftists in our schools, who grasp very little of such complex subjects as basic economics or the content of pending legislation, feel empowered to try to brainwash our kids.
The biggest change in our society is that it has now become officially 'OK' to use any public forum, including radio and TV 'news', the NEA, and our schools, to unabashedly push leftist propaganda. People should go to these schools and demand the firing of the people involved in this brainwashing. that will never convince them to adopt impartiality or become ethical and fair, but it can scare them into acting as if they were. That is the best we can expect from them.
These 'lamb chops' will be full fledged sheeple by the time they graduate elementary school which, of course, is by design. Bait 'em. Hook 'em. Cook 'em. Eat'em. It’s been a while, but if I remember correctly, when I was in elementary school, we sang nursery rhymes and patriotic songs. We performed plays such as “The Three Bears” and the my favorite from third grade: “The North Pole Goes Rock ‘n Roll.” Of course, Christmas themes aren’t allowed these days because someone might get offended. If I had a child in school and I found out their teachers were forcing them to participate in these types of activities, I’d be at the school in a heartbeat. Its funny when I took classes on Germany during that particular era and the Soviet Union and China during their emotional idiocies I left those classes with the idea thats not what to do. I do not have a child in school but I do pay property tax and that pays for the schools. We have High School seniors who can not count out the change from a $20.00 on a $7.92 purchase, or name the second President of the US. Sad, very sad. I attended a praise GW sing along for a small function at my childs school. The punishment should be $100 fine on the teacher for each student instructed, immediate dismissal from their public school position, and a restraining order against the employee restricting them from all public school property for 3-years.

I've worked in Call Centers in Mainstream America, and it never seized to amaze me the dumb questions most Americans would ask.
Being an immigrant from outside the country… and believing that this Country was highly educated and sophisticated, it was such a big blow to note how dumb (to put it mildly), most of Mainstream America…
You order a hot beverage…such as coffee…you now need a disclaimer telling you the contents are hot etc… duh!

Some Parents are getting hernias over these videos, just like when Obama proposed to speak to school Children.
Black people are still sensitive about slavery, people cannot speak freely about race or anything without overtones being brought into the conversation.

Who knows the motive behind..hmm… how about telling these kids they can be anything they so wish to become.. and lo and behold, they happened to make songs out of that… is that wrong? Does this constitute indoctrination?
By definition, indoctrination is brainwashing over prolonged periods of time… but considering how dumb society is, I guess a couple of songs about some black President constitutes brainwashing, and these kids have lost all faculty to think independently… and everything the parents have taught these kids has gone flying outside the window…
Wake up people… go on with your little lives and watch gossip and Jerry Springer on TV… but then again, you have nothing to do but whine and complain about a lot to do about nothing….
Have any of the teachers of these children taught them the the consequences of generational theft? These poor kids have no idea of what our current administration has planned for them.

Can you say INDOCTRINATION!!!! I remember the so-called mainstream media attacking people who were upset about Barack Hussein Obama speaking to the school children, where a lesson plan was given to the teachers. This is SCARY stuff. Obama was partly elected because of college kids that have been indoctrinated in the liberal school system and Saturday morning cartoons, voting for him. People also voted for him because they wanted to say they were a part of history by voting for the first black President, even though he is bi-racial.
